Custom Acreage Build – We chose to build with Stroud Homes Gold Coast after doing extensive research into builders in the area. As we were building interstate, and this was our first build experience, we were a bit unsure going into this process. Stroud came highly recommended, and we got into contact with Martin who was very helpful in answering all our initial questions and assured us that they were keen to take on a difficult project such as ours on a sloping acreage block. We worked closely with Stroud's draftsman, Jamie, to create the ideal custom floor plan for our block and was readily available to make the necessary revisions. Between contract signing and the build commencement, Tina was our first point of contact. She did a spectacular job and was always happy to go above and beyond. Once our build started, our site supervisor kept us informed every step of the way with weekly updates and pictures which was extremely important to us as we were interstate and unable to keep up with the progress in person thank you Justin!

Overall, Stroud did an incredible job in building our new home and we are very happy with it. With all the horror stories you hear about dodgy builders, it is safe to say we were a bit wary at first, but Nathan, Henry and the rest of the Stroud team did a great job in alleviating those fears from the beginning.

There will always be mistakes made and unforeseen delays during any build, no matter what builder you choose however, the real difference with Stroud is how they choose to deal with it. They always have open lines of communication and will do whatever necessary to rectify any issue that arises.
