We cannot thank the Stroud Homes Wollongong team enough.

We found ourselves in a real pickle after being let down by our local council with a modular build. What initially turned us off a slab build was exactly that—the slab itself and the impact it would have on the environment. However, Stroud Homes' Facebook marketing caught my attention, and their home designs felt different from everyone else's.

After reaching out, we discovered they could customise their plans to suit our needs. Following our first discussion with Travis—who is so genuine, honest, and completely open—we learned the house could be stepped down to follow the natural slope of our land. Combined with their generous inclusions package, it exceeded our hopes and dreams.

As our trusty council seemed determined to throw every possible curveball in both our and Stroud Homes' direction, it really highlighted a couple of stars on their team.

First, Sandy (Contract Administration). I'm sure she hears this all the time, but I've cried, laughed, and celebrated with her over the phone. She is absolute gold at what she does—efficient, professional, honest, and personable. Those qualities are hard to come by these days.

Then there's Cam. You only meet him a handful of times during your building journey, but every Friday between 1 pm and 3 pm, you find yourself eagerly waiting for his update. Without fail, he lets you know what has been completed, shares photos of the progress, and explains what to expect over the coming week. Those updates became something we genuinely looked forward to.

The contractors Stroud Homes work with were brilliant and reflected the family-like culture the business has created. During our colour, electrical, and selections meetings, the lovely lady helping us (I'm so sorry I can't remember her name!) was an absolute delight and incredibly knowledgeable. She gave us confidence in every decision we made, leaving very little chance of regretting any of our choices.

Our home is so perfectly suited to the area. It is welcoming, warm, and will be a haven for our family for many years to come.

While Stroud Homes may be part of a franchise, the Wollongong team feels like a genuine family. Every person we dealt with supported us, encouraged us, and guided us through what could have been a very stressful journey. For that, we cannot recommend them highly enough.
