AVOID BY ALL MEANS – I have been with YOUI for the last 5 years and currently I have 5 policies with them (which will be cancelled shortly as I am switching to a provider with a proper claim service team). Things were great during quote and purchase steps as the marketing team is super friendly and the price is low and the car insurance includes complimentary roadside assistance. But wait until you need their help during claim process. My car was hit by a ute in a secure car park. My car captured the details of the ute and also the CCTV of the carpark recorded the incident moment. I was asked to raise a policelink request and the police officer also emailed me and confirmed that they can see the ute that has hit my car. However the police report indicates that "we were not able to identify unit 1 due to the vehicle being registered interstate (Victoria) and to a business which does not come up in search. Your insurance company should be able to obtain details of this through their system though" (sent from a senior constable at Brisbane City Police Station). However YOUI claim officer has contacted me and said the excess of $950 needs to be paid by myself because Police hasn't provided full details of the driver It is obvious from Police report that since the ute was registered by a business, they cannot provide the details of the driver, however the ute must have been insured and YOUI should be able to claim the excess through their channels, but unfortunately, YOUI's claim officers don't care about these kinds of claims. I have contacted them multiple times and everyone, a random person talks to me and repeats the same thing that's written on the claim tracker, they don't seem to bother to do their job.

I definitely advise everyone to stay away from YOUI since they seem to be unable to process a standard claim and I am seriously disappointment by the lack of support on this occasion.
