Waste of time
SO HARD to get a quote from Youi. After all the questions on line, put all the information they will call you back and ask same, waste of time. All other insurance providers you can get a quote on line. I did that and after 15 minutes of time wasted, the quote was absolutely out of the market.
What a waste of time.
An absolute joke! Good & cheap, until you have an accident & have to make a claim!
Husband had a bingle 5 months ago. Poor communication - not one person had ever called to update us on who was in fault.
Took for us to call them to be told that husband was in fault based on the fact that the other car had a passenger & it was their word over his (other car were in fault).
Very disappointing. Will never call them for a quote or ever take out a policy even if it was given for free.
Never again. It is very hard to get a quote from Youi. All other insurance providers you can get a quote on line. For Youi you put in all the information on line, and they have to ring you back, and ask you all the questions again. I did that and after 15 minutes of time wasted, I was told sorry we can not insure your car because it is too expensive for Youi.

did you know youi take your excess even if your not at fault then you have to fight them to get your excess back....not worth the saving...woolworths is actually cheaper so swapping everything to them

We have been Youi customers for a few years now and over this period we have had nothing but excellent experiences with Youi. From getting our first quote, to having to make a claim, the folk at Youi have been exemplary with their customer service! Our claim was resolved in under a week and all repairs for our not at fault accident we’re completed to a very high standard.
We recently got a contents renewal from our old insurer and were shocked that although we had 10+ years loyalty with them over various insurance products, they still were go...ing to charge us ~$200 more than Youi would for less cover and a higher excess, so we’re glad we made the switch on our contents insurance too! What prompted this review was the outstanding customer service I received this morning on the phone from a woman named Tamara. She was bright, bubbly and friendly and definitely covered all bases when we were looking to compare a quoted car insurance from a novated lease company versus Youi. I nearly fell off my chair when Tamara gave me the Youi quote... it was over $1000 cheaper than the other company. Tamara made the quote easy to understand and explained everything to me. She also seamlessly connected me to the customer service area where I was able change a few of my details on my existing policies, which was great. I would have no doubt in the world recommending Youi to anyone, they really are the best in the business.
Good car insurer
Multiple good experiences. Another party at fault who said they had no money and no insurance. I provided a photo of their ID and Youi sorted it all. My husband was at fault on another. Of course had to pay excess but the rest was all sorted. Only speak to aussies in qld that are all helpful and easy to contact. Car repairs locations relatively close to home (one 10 mins and another 20 mins away). Repairers all smaller businesses and very helpful and friendly. Break down required towing and all covered with roadside assist. One of the cheaper providers. Cash back during covid as I used it less. No complaints.
Quote Almost Double Other
By far the most expensive quote, almost double what AAMI quoted and AAMI had more benefits than Youi too. I must say I was very surprised. Current insurer Suncorp $845, AAMI $681, Youi $1243, Allianz $921, Aust Seniors $829 and Budget Direct $681. All but Youi have an excess of $650 or $600 with these figures, Youi's excess with this quote was $900 - hate to imagine what the quote would have been if I changed the excess to around the $600, I didn't bother, I just deleted their quote. I will go with AAMI for this year and if their prices rise next year unfairly like Suncorp's did this year, I will shop around again next year.
discounts on renewal
I got an email saying my renewal was coming up, and saw that premiums and excess had gone up despite no claims. However, I phoned the call line and the guy was very helpful and got my premiums reduced by $100. I then added an extra benefit, ended up still being less than the stated renewal with this benefit. I am happy they gate a discount but wish that a no claim discount had been automatically added and I didn't have to phone about it. Good customer service though.

New car, new policy, cost saving and seamless set-up. Been with Youi for years and have saved a bucket load. Don't bother getting other quotes because they reward you so well for loyalty.
Completely unreliable, slow process, no one to speak to!
My car was hit & in the garage. The garage sent an estimate to YOUI and a week later there is still no assessor appointed to even look at the estimate.
Amazing service and savings
The sales agent was very helpful and knowledgeable. She took the time to find out about how I use my car and I got the same cover at half the price- saving over $600 a year. Looking forward to a long relationship with Youi

FANTASTIC SERVICE !!
Have been with YOUI for a number of years now and apart from providing great prices on their policies with Road Service included, YOUI were absolutely amazing recently when I had to make a claim for a car that was written off. From start to finish during the whole process, the staff could not have been more helpful, efficient and sympathetic making the experience a lot easier given the circumstances. Cannot rate their staff and service enough.

All the hype about cheaper well Im a senior who doesnt drive much 4000k per yerar and hasnt had an accident for 2 decades .
When I punched in the mountsin of details Youi ask for I found them more expensive than rac and sgio What waste of time
New comprehensive Policy
I found YOUI to be great value and the cheapest around. I did not like that it is market value. But loved talking to an Aussie/Kiwi. Great service that I hope I do not have to use as it will mean that I have been in an accident.

I just want a quote
TERRIBLE trying to get a quote - Just a long drawn out process. I tried to get a quote online which included the provision of a phone number. I was then called by a salesperson who stole 30 mins of my life going through endless details including all the questions id already answered online before they called.
After all this for this particular vehicle, they come up with a price twice that of other insurers. (Vehicle dependant, some times they are cheaper), I would of been able to avoid all of this if the online system gave a quote like every other insurance company. This is one reason I usually don't insure with YOUI, other insurance companies have a much easier, convenient online process
Changed insurers and saved money.
Policy is good value. We have homes insured and have just added our vehicle and it has saved us money. The insurance representative made it all so very easy to do.

Good policy. Took time to set up, however it was a good result. William handled my requirements pleasantly and courteously. Questions were answered professionally and alternatives explained carefully including choices on the policy.

I just upgraded our insurance on the car to full comprehensive, on the Policy Schedule it states Excess Windscreen cover $700? Is that correct, as I was expecting 2 free replacements included. The policy no is - OA32182443
