Fabulous Home – We couldn't have been happier with Stroud Homes. We had never built before but wanted everything 'perfect'. They were extremely patient during the design stage and when we changed our design for the umpteenth time they were happy to accommodate us. Nothing was too much trouble. The colour consultant was very knowledgeable and happy to work around a particular carpet that we had purchased separately. Our project manager always listened to any questions or issues we had and dealt with them in a timely manner. The build went smoothly and the finishes excellent. Stroud also arranged to have any repairs done at the post -12 month inspection. These are due to the house settling and they were fixed in a trouble free way. Highly recommended

Hi Brett and Nanette! We are pleased that we've met your expectations, and that you love your home. Our goal at Stroud Homes is to have our customers loving their home 12 months after handover (not just at the time of sale). This affects many of our decisions about what products/suppliers we use i.e. we won't use products that are low cost if we think the product won't perform long term. The QBCC has recently changed the defects liability period from 6 to 12 months, and we think that is a good thing. Some clients were choosing to wait a full 12 months prior to the change - the idea is to let the home experience all 4 seasons before the review. Anyway - sorry to get all technical!
