advised the failure was caused by gecko ingress.

For an outdoor unit installed in Queensland, where geckos and similar pests are common, I found this concerning. I was advised the issue was not covered under warranty, resulting in repair costs of around $1,000. I was also invoiced $275 for a service call to diagnose the fault.

I found the warranty and service process difficult to navigate, communication was disappointing, and resolution took considerably more effort than expected.

Based on my experience, I would carefully consider after-sales support, warranty coverage and long-term ownership costs before purchasing.

Absolutely love our I force 12 heat pump. It is sufficient and effective heating our 27,000 litre pool 6.5 by 3m. Quick to heat up to set temperature and very quiet. We have used our pool in the cooler months and have loved it! Highly recommend.

Just added this unit to support our solar pool heating set up and increase our swimming season. Great unit, really quiet and works perfectly on our 50,000 litre pool.

Very well made unit. I have the Apex 18. It is very energy efficient, even in turbo mode. Very nice dark grey colorbond finish. Was easy to connect to wifi and blows the cold air upwards rather than towards the pool.
