shorted out the inverter board. Of course, the warranty doesn't cover insects or animal damage. I was told the inverter board has since been upgraded to a better, more protected design, which suggests the original may not have been adequately vermin proof for QLD. Considering this, i would have thought they may just replace the part at no cost. But no, in total it cost me $1,068.32 incl GST. Which is think is quite high considering I shelled out $8k 2 years ago.

Service -callout fee - $165 incl GST Service - Labour - $214.50 incl GST Inverter Board - $474.32 incl GST (which is the trade price. Normally its $677.60) Service - Labour attend site to replace inverter board -214.50 incl GST Total = $1,068.32.

If you've ever had a product issue with the company Apple, that is how customers should be treated - they'll usually replace something at no cost if there is an issue with their product. Which is what I would have expected here - someone to stand behind their product/service.

Service-wise, i was initially told I would receive a quote the same night of call-out, but it took around 2 weeks and a follow-up from me before it was sent through.

Fantastic Unit. Heated my 40000l litre pool in. 2 days. Simple to install. Only problem I had was setting timers for the unit. Instructions are confusing. A video should be provided to make timer setting simpler. All in all great unit.

cooling more efficient and pool heating more efficient. Quiet and instant operation. Have to go through lengthy registration before using the app so don’t know what the app is like yet.
