Jayco F25‑3 Motorhome great unit, poor follow‑through on accessories I ordered a tow bar through Jayco as I thought this would be the safest… Read more
option on such an expensive motorhome. Told four weeks, paid upfront, followed up, and suddenly it’s 6–8 weeks. Contacted Jayco corporate and they couldn’t even find the order, sending me back to the branch.
Now I’m left wondering if this will blow out to 8–12 weeks.
For such a big brand, the lack of communication is disappointing. Quick to take the money, slow to provide any real information. The motorhome is fantastic the customer service hasn’t matched it.

have not had a fridge for over two year as unable to get it repaired, resorted to buying a new one and now waiting to get somone to install it.
A good idea, shame about the quality – The good: easy to tow, roomy and airy. The bad: The Dometic drop down door has a piano hinge held on by soft aluminium rivets which failed, now… Read more
replaced with screws. The thin gauge plate that holds half the door to the roof distorted and had to be reinforced. The rear slide out bed slid and flopped. All the screws had snapped on the runner attached to the frame via a spacer, the screws were too long and too thin and could not handle a couple of hundred km of mildly corrugated road. Reinforcing plywood under the slideout beds uses staples into plywood, started popping out and had to be replaced by screws. The cutlery draw front fell off and had to be strengthed. There have been numerous other screws fall out and the water and power flap catches have broken. I am the second owner, the tyres still had the barcodes on them, it was about a year old and little used. The old saying about it being better to be the second owner of a Jayco as most of the problems will have been fixed needs revising to the third.
Modern but cheap finish – Poor interior with paper surfaced cabinets. Floor is easily marked and colour fades after washing. Not the finish you would expect from a new caravan. When you wash the doors inside they can easily scratch off. Show details
Expensive and poor quality workmanship – Jayco .expensive and poor quality workmanship. The whole industry is second rate . Quality control non existant and pre delivery poor. Some jayco sugested service centres are using unskilled worjers to vandalise your van . Show details
Does anyone even care about quality workmanship – I own a 2013 33 foot RLDS. What ever could be crooked on this trailer is. Valances are all crooked around the windows. Caulking is squished out… Read more
around all of the trim. The ladder is even mounted crooked.
I spent 2 hours on my back underneath the thing just tying up wires and hoses that were just strung over whatever was there and left to chafe on whatever sharp edge there was.
Cheap materials used in everything. The pump for the water was left hanging against the wall under the sink to vibrate the entire wall when it runs. No pipe holes were filled so that mice get in the trailer.
No thought whatsoever was put into where to locate switches and plugs. Every single plug in the entire trailer is on one breaker.
Bolts in the slides stick down far enough to chafe on the side of the trailer. Plumbing is not secured so it won't break.
Wires run around the battery were just tied in a ball instead of being tied up properly to look right.
The frame is barely painted, so needed to be undercoated to keep it from rusting.
The drains for the tanks are so flimsy that they are breaking off.
The sides are tied with flimsy metal strips that are crooked.
How can a manufacturer turn out such garbage? Do you not take any pride whatsoever in your product?
Does anyone even work in quality control?
Do the people working in the factory even own measuring tapes?
You throw together a bunch of shoddy work and then charge big money for it.
Shame on you.

breaker to hook it up. Most only show a pic of the front so you can't see what the back looks like. It is completely useless & will not give your van etc any power without other parts. Check carefully before you buy anything to set up power to your van. It may save you a lot of time & money avoiding this useless rubbish.
Update the guys finally fitted tow bar two days before travel cannot complain, quality good, workmanship good.
