reclining back rest wouldnt lock in place as soon as I put any weight on it. Officeworks were great and processed a refund on the spot, but it was mentioned in passing that "theres been a batch where every few had this issue". No one in the store seem suprised. Good customer service, rubbish chair.

$50 to fix a $20 item or I could give it to an electronic recycler. I no longer have the receipt and the warranty is only 12 months. Definitely not buying another Burrows again.

Perfect shredder – Tried a fair few over the years and this is great. Expensive at $299 but you certainly get what you pay for. Been shredding for over 2 hours straight and hasn't missed a beat. Bought it from Office Works and they delivered the next day.

Just want to confirm other reviewers...I now feel like I'm not alone! Very heavy, at least 4kg to lift the top to empty the paper, and the only… Read more

accessible place to do this is at the front to try and grasp the whole thing and lift. Have to try and prise it up by also holding onto the back part where the cord is, and have to be conscious of not damaging that! Absolutely hopeless for anyone a bit frail or disabled. Also, despite reversing frequently during shredding to release paper that's accumulated in the shredding thingys, you still have to remove the paper by hand, resulting in having to balance the heavy top and of course the little bits of paper go everywhere! Can't believe how bad the design is...

J.Burrows Wireless Ergonomic Keyboard and Mouse Combo – The J.Burrows Ergonomic Keyboard and Mouse is ideal for working comfortably throughout the day. They use 2.4 GHz wireless connectivity to eliminate… Read more

the hindrance of cords, and the mouse has an integrated palm rest to eliminate strain. The keyboard has internet and multimedia hotkeys.

Box contents:

Keyboard

Mouse

Instruction Manual

Batteries ( 4 AAA) 2 for Mouse and 2 for keyboard

Wireless receiver

Physical appearance:

The keyboard has split design which looks nice. The keys are low profile silent keys which make typing experience better. The materials used in keyboard construction are ABS, metal and PCBA (electronic components). Under the keyboard, you get the rubber pads that avoid keyboard to slip on the desk however a desk mat/pad is recommended. There is a scrolling wheel on the keyboard which comes handy while reading ebooks or documents. The manufacture has given an option of keyboard feet that helps in lifting the keyboard bit up from the ground to make typing easy. The keyboard has multimedia keys for easy access to multimedia applications. On the bottom of the keyboard, you will find the power on/off switch and battery compartment

Talking about the mouse, it is made of plastic however doesn't feel cheap. The build is solid and feels sturdy in hand. The mouse has two buttons that cannot be configured however by default they work as back and forward buttons. On top, this has DPI switch however DPI information is not available. on the bottom of the mouse, you will find the battery compartment, power on/off switch and connect button. Last but not the least, it as scrolling wheel and it performs well in initial testing.

Connectivity

The keyboard and mouse work on 2.4 Ghz wireless technology. Both connect to a single wireless receiver that connects to a laptop or desktop. In initial testing, no issues were found while connecting to the laptop. While using the keyboard, no latency was observed and also mouse scrolling works fine. The keyboard and mouse were tested on windows laptop and no connectivity issues were observed. The manufacture has mentioned keyboard compatibility with windows, nothing is mentioned whether it can connect to Mac.

Verdict

It's too early to conclude how good or bad this combo is as I have tested this only for a few hours. I will post the detailed review after using it for a few more days, however, if you haven't used an ergonomic keyboard before, it will take time to get used to working with this keyboard.

Great for Home or Small Office Use – We bought this for home use to replace a very good 'OfficeOne' machine I had inadvertently damaged. We wanted a replacement of similar performance… Read more

and specifications. We've now this machine for over 2 months and used it every day. It came with an 8 year Warranty, and will shred staples, CD/DVD's, and credit cards. It has a 16 litre bin size, which is ideal for home use and will shred 11 sheets or more before the 'Motor Overheat Safety Device' cuts in. The unit then stops automatically. The 'Duty Cycle' is about 3 minutes, after which it will go to 'Off Cycle' for 40 minutes before you can resume shredding. So it's a machine for home use, or small business use. The bin has a window near its top and we've found that it's necessary to empty the bin as soon as the level of shredded material covers the window or just before - this is to avoid spillage as the bin is removed. We have easily shredded 15 sheets of A4 in one run, staples included. The unit uses 1.8A of power. We are very happy with it as it suits our purposes perfectly and the 8 year Warranty is a nice comfort. Recommended, and especially for home use or small business use.

often not easy to do or the instructions are lacking in detail.

I took the punt and purchased the Archer office chair and am glad I did.

This is what I like about it -

@ Price - excellent value at $97 @ Easy to put together - very few parts - it took about 15 mins for me to put it together and I am no expert when it comes to doing things like that @ Comfortable - it is a very sturdy and comfortable office chair.

I would highly recommend this office chair if you are up for a new one.

only small ones in shops, but they always break quickly, adding to e-waste.

J Burrows: Trecking to Officeworks to return them is time consuming and frustrating. If you'd increase the price of these to make a better product, I expect few people would begrudge you. I'd rather pay more and know it will last than have to buy several at a time so I'm not left without a mouse.

Shoddy! – I bought two whiteboards of different styles and both markers that came with them ran out ridiculously quickly! One after about 5 words, the other after about 30. Only made to be sold once but never to want to buy another. Sham.
