Saxon Tools
Horrible – Blades get stuck on the mower even after taking the cutter board adjustment off. First day of use, very disappointed. Never this brand again, may aswell get a knife and get on my knees.
Terrible – Top heavy and keeps falling over on the handle side. Had a similar one from Bunnings in NZ that had a plastic "foot" to stop it from happening -… Read more
looked like this one but with yellow bits on the caps I think - was SOOOOO much better. This one is really useless as you always need to prop it up to stay until you have put stuff in it
Good cart once assembled – Good luck assembling this cart, if you think it feels loosely put together, you will need good quality spanners etc. and a lot of time and patient, to do all the nuts and bolts up!
2nd replacement with same issue – Had purchased the Loppers from Bunnings. On the first time we extended , found that we could not retract. Took back to Bunnings and replaced with a… Read more
new one. As we had problems with the first, decided to use straight away. Using as a standard lopper was OK. However, when we used as an extended found that , once again, unable to retract. So will have to take back to replace with another brand. DO NOT PURCHASE this brand, as seems all are defective
Replacement springs – I quite like the bypass pruners. They work ok and are only cheap to replace if my husband loses them. But, I would like to get replacement springs and there do not appear to be any Saxon one’s available and the ones I could buy did not fit.
SAXON 2.7KG FIBREGLASS BLOCKSPLITTER OK TO USE – I bought one of these at Bunnings earlier this year (2023). Price about $22. I agree with Bunnings information that the fibre glass handle is… Read more
non-slip and comfortable to hold when using. It is a suitable weight for me to use and I can manage to split most of my timber fairly well with it.
What I don’t like about it compared to a blockbuster with a wooden handle is a wedge cannot be used to tighten the handle in the forged head and I have found that occasionally when I have lifted it to strike, the head has slid a little down the handle. The overstrike collar didn’t last long and then I found I couldn’t buy replacement collars for it. I wonder if the handle will eventually wear through without the collar.
Fair value compared to the wooden handle block busters. Get what you pay for. 3 stars

Great sandals with a little change in straps setting Good sandals for my lawn. Before buying I was a little hesitant with negative comments but… Read more
these sandals do their job well. The default setup of the straps does not work for me because sandals fell off very often. I then changed the straps settings to put one strap loop to the back of my heel so the sandals stay on my feet all the time. The straps are setup as shown in the photos.
