We have had our set for less than 1 year and multiple pieces have splintered with pieces or metal sticking out which is very dangerous. Some of the… Read more

forks have splintered from the part you use to eat ! When we notified them we were asked to send the set back for a replacement. Pretty inconvenient and not what id consider to be appropriate compensation for something so serious.

Great set, modern and light and still great condition after 12 months. We use at home and in our cafe. We always dry immediately after cleaning or out of the dishwasher and polish every 6 months with bar keepers friend.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong – I have both the 28cm fry pan and the 30cm pan and I've never used cast iron before so not sure if I am seasoning it correctly. I followed the… Read more

instructions on the packaging and my pancakes stuck on the first use and then I tried seasoning a couple more times. The 2nd time I tried cooking pancakes in it, it still stuck but not as badly as the first time. I did however, washed it while the pan was hot and my season came straight off where the water hit the pan but is also flaking in other areas too. Could someone here help me if you have had a good experience with these Stanley Rogers cast iron pans please? I like how much lighter they are than other cast irons but cannot use it if everything sticks to it.

Rusting, poor quality, quality gone downhill – My mum had Stanley Rogers cutlery sets for years which were good quality and lasted, I bought my own set less than a month ago and they've already… Read more

rusted. The logo on the knifes is rusting and showing rust spots all over. The quality of them feels so poor too, there's manufacturing defects, marks, and sharp steel bits that stick out.

Disappointed with this brand, the quality has gone downhill, will be sure to never purchase from them again and to not recommend them to anyone.

Disappointed with the weight & overall feel – I purchased these at a heavily discounted price recently and should have known they would be too good to be true. The pictures and description of… Read more

the set made me think they would be of high quality and heavy weight. Unfortunately they are quite light and overall look and feel inexpensive.

Wonderful knives! – I have been looking for another very good knife set for some years now, and I finally found a set that didn't break the bank! For $114.50 on sale… Read more

(half price), they are WELL worth the money! These knives are ultra sharp, light, comfortable to hold - they're very ergonomic - and they go in the dishwasher and are still super sharp afterwards! I've been wanting an Asian-style (santoku) knife for some years as well, because I didn't have one, but now I do :-) The slim wedge block fits so easily on the counter, too. The shape of these knives is fantastic. I can chop so easily. The tip of the knives rolls nicely, allowing for fast motion chopping. I've got a Mundial set at present, and they're very good, but the blades are quite thick. Great for chopping pumpkin, and tougher foods, but sometimes you want a thinner blade eg for chopping chicken meat. I wouldn't use the Stanley Rogers set for cutting really heavyset foods, as they feel a little too bendy for that, but they are fantastic for everyday chopping, which is what the vast majority of my cooking entails. About the only qualm I have is that that the bread knife seems a little too short in blade length, but it makes up for this by being super sharp. However, I have to watch I don't destroy my wooden chopping board now when I slice my fresh bread loaves! My arms and hands are grateful to have found lighter, easy to hold and easy to use knives, and my bank balance is also happy that I got them at such a good price! Highly recommend these knives. A great set to have.

Dont waste your money on these steak knives – Purchased these late last year and decided to use 2 steak knives from the set recently. They leave your fingers with black/greyish stains after use,… Read more

even after hand washing or cleaning in the dishwasher. The box states they are stainless steel as well make on the serated knife section has scractched however the handle does not appear to be stainless steel and has marked easily. The can leave your teatowel discoloured and even when you think you have washed and dried these properly they shows stains the following day. Very disappointing. Previously had a good set of Stanley Rogers cutlery set which worked well for over 30 years and decided to update the steak knives. Absolute waste of money. Purchased on sale.

Blown away with the qualify seriously 6 star quality – Bought two sets of steak knives from Victoria's Basement online The first I won't name here was shoddy cheap and nasty But this one STANLEY ROGERS … Read more

wow wow wow Box was classy with a sliding glass lip the setting within that they sat perfect. Guarantee and instructions included. Just to run your finger careful along the knife edge wow sharp. This set cost $49-95 for 4 compared to an lower class set that were 29.95 for 6 what a joke that is approx $12.50 per knife compared to approx $7.30 I can never get into Victoria's Basement to see these items so have to trust the shop to buy the best. This is the difference to pick up a steak knife, look at it in aw or pick up a steak knife and think what a load of rubbish this is.

Everyone doesn't desitate Stanley Rogers Precious Pistol Grip Steak knife set is incredible

tarnished or developed marks. I doubt the 25 year warranty would cover much after you read through the conditions and exceptions.

LOVE THIS AWESOME FRYING PAN I bought this frying pan online in December 2024, from Kitchen Warehouse so it's only 3-4 months old. I don't usually… Read more

do reviews until the item is at least 12 months old and I've given it a really good workout. This frying pan is amazing I use it nearly everyday and it still looks the same as when I unpacked it. It doesn't stick, it cooks everything beautifully, it's a dream to clean and I admit after washing it by hand I give it a final wipe over with a soapy cloth and finish with a hot rinse. Keeps it perfect. There is no black staining on the bottom unlike other Stanley Rogers frying pans I've bought, they are still good pans but not nearly the quality of the 'Quartz Stone Advanced' pan. If I could I would order small and medium 'Quartz Stone Advanced' pans but sadly they are only available in a 30cm size. Hopefully that will change in the future. The only thing that would make it even better is if it was Australian made then it would go from awesome to perfect but you can't have everything. Highly recommend this pan to anyone looking for a quality product. Make sure it is 'Quartz Stone Advanced'

A good product but some flaws – I bought this 56 piece cutlery set some months ago but only recently discovered when using one of the forks for the first time that it had a small… Read more

rough section along one side. The price when I bought was very good, having been reduced to $79. On returning the set to the store, Harris Scarf, they offered to exchange the set for some other models they had in stock or a refund. As we didn't want the other models we took the refund with the aim of watching out for another good special. It was disappointing to see the flaw in one piece of the set, but also others did look a little scraped merely from being in the drawer together for a few months. I think that may be because it was an 18/0 stainless steel. The thing I don't like is wasting an entire set because of one piece being flawed. In future we would buy only 18/10 cutlery which is a far better grade and recommend to other consumers to do the same. I would hope that Harris Scarf returned it to the manufacturers pointing out the problem.

Really poor quality cutlery – Don’t buy this cutlery. I’ve just purchased the Chicago 56 piece set from David Jones 4 days ago. We used them for the first time last night and… Read more

all the pieces felt disappointingly light weight After using I put them in the dishwasher overnight and this morning each piece had black spots and looked terrible. So I then hand washed all the pieces and those I didn’t wipe immediately developed dark patches. I’m so sorry I bought them as they’re totally impractical to clean and I believe they are poor quality. I want to return them even though I no longer have all the packaging

heavens we only paid $50 not the $179 asking price. We had to go through 4 boxed sets before we found a set without dents, scratches and deep pitted black marks. I was really surprised to see the bad quality and noted they were made in Vietnam which explains the lack of quality control which the English had established. I guess it's all a matter of price nowadays but whatever we are quite disappointed where another good brand name has bit the dust in the sake of profit maximization.. The price and looks Hopefully nothing until I get the microscope out
