have been in the shower (for longer than they should), the mirrors haven't fogged up as the fans are extracting the moist air at a much faster rate that the fans we had previously. Fanco's customer service is great, a company that is a pleasure to deal with if you have any issues.

informed that axial fans are not suitable for longer lengts of ducting and mixed flow fans are more effective.

Purchased fan from Pure Ventilation (who have an excellent website on fan types, characteristics and range) and replaced the old fan and ducting. The TT Pro 200 fan is well made and the model I bought has a two speed switch and power cord. The amount of air transferred on the low speed setting in my estimation would be 10 times the amount from the old axial fan. Slightly noisier than the old axial fan, on the low speed, the fan noise in the roof space is not intrusive and although just sitting on the ceiling joists, no vibration transferred to the house. The noise through the ducting is mainly air noise and in living spaces not very noticeable.

High speed is quite a bit noisier and may be uncomfortable for living spaces or bedrooms, but the amount of air transferred for a heat transfer system would be excessive for most requirements. When purchasing the fan I researched airflow and noise and only intended to use it on low speed anyway.

One feature I like is the ability to easily seperate the fan unit for cleaning without untaping the ducting

If noise is an issue you may need to look at the quiet versions of the Fanco fans which are a bit more expensive.

Overall I am pleased with this and consider very good value for money.

This fan is super quiet – We purchased 2 of these online sight unseen. These fan are the quietest I have never heard. Only problem is you will forget to turn them off. Haha, super product.
