Machine broke just outside warranty but was repaired by Electrolux – Purchased from Harvey Norman in June 2021. Did the job for 2 years 8 months then died (outside of the 2 year warranty) - E91 error. I was quoted $400… Read more

to $500 to repair by a local technician. I left a review here and was then contacted directly by Electrolux who sent a serviceman and repaired the machine at their cost. Thank you very much Electrolux. The machine has worked fine since.

Washing the stains right outta my life – We bought this machine when our 7kg top loader collapsed in a fit of exhaustion in 2021. I was surprised at the negative reviews on here, ours has… Read more

run like a dream since day 1, no matter the abuse we throw at it, and trust me, during winter sports season it gets punishment! So huge it even fits our blankets, and kids doonas, meaning less dry cleaning expenses, more margarita money for me! The filter is front bottom and easy to access and clean. I made my own favourite cycle so I got what suits us, 60 deg C for the aforementioned sports uniforms (lucky this isnt smellavision) with high spin. Always get a good outcome using 0.5 cup sodium carbonate and a half dose of laundry detergent. Not too wet, dry off quickly. My only ever hiccup was a stretchy lycra top that was caught in door as it closed and spun around making a giant knot, and made machine shake. Note to self, dont overfill machine and make sure all items are away from door. You can stop machine early in cycle to add those hiding socks you always find 2 seconds after you start a load, and the vapour refresh cycle is great for suit jackets and school blazers worn by stinky kids and husbands. There is remote connection for your phone but I dont use it since am right there wrangling the laundry anyway. The spin is a bit noisy, but the rest as silent as a toddler in the makeup drawer.

We have had this machine a few years. It washes and spins beautifully. Love the dial selector, the internal light and the door is quote big so I… Read more

can get really big blankets in it (I understand they have now made the door smaller on more recent models) - why!? My single dislike really is just the on/off power switch. It doesnt click in and out you just press it and for a few seconds I wait and I am never sure if its turned on but then the light turns on. Other than that I would receommend this machine.

This washer has no external access to a coin trap, and the user manual offers no information about how to deal with a partial blockage of the pump… Read more

system. Dis-assembly of the machine to clear the pump voids the warranty. Electrolux charges a fee of at least $165 to send a technician. I have phoned Electrolux support and been told that there is no information available regarding cleaning a coin trap or outlet filter. I wouldn't accept another Electrolux washer if it was offered 'free'. Congratulations to Electrolux for contributing so much to Australia's landfill, and so much disappointment to consumers..

This machine runs quietly. It is even quieter now that it is blocked, uneconomic to clear the pump, and consequently unusable.

Such a disappointing machine - to the point I am going to take the 10yr old LG that replaced it out of the shed and put it back. Main gripes: 1. Its… Read more

quicker to dry clothes outside than use the (useless) drying function 2. If you do use the drying function it will shrink your synthetics 3. It cannot handle even close to 12kg of clothing, Electrolux have done a bit of - this is false and misleading advertising here. Not surprising actually because the drum is the same size as my 7.5kg LG. If you do load above ~7kg be prepared to iron everything that comes out of the washing machine, even if you remove laundry immediately, and have spun on the lowest settings. This is by far the biggest gripe, it has doubled my laundry effort because it creases everything. 4. The estimated wash duration is only accurate AFTER the washcycle has started, so you have no idea how long the programme will take as it only displays the max time whilst you are trying to find a programme that fits to your schedule. 5. Most of the cycles (associated with the dryer part) are useless.

What's good: 1. I don't mind the function that allows you to load detergent and softener for about 1-2 weeks of washing 2. I can replace it with my LG tomorrow

So $1500 spent to increase my workload and damage my clothes. I will never purchase another Electrolux product again.

Misleading and spin issue – Not full 10kg and bad spin programing We bought this machine about a month ago, we had a Electrolux previously that worked ok for 10 years, so we… Read more

though why not. Also we wanted a high volume spin as most top loaders only have around 850rpm this spins at 1,400 rpm. But only in certain cycles and not on all cycles. The normal wash is an hour minimum. Other cycles are nearly 3 hours which I find to be very excessive. The spin cycle is the issue. On the normal wash the load capacity is 5kg not 10kg, that’s for the long 3 hour wash cycle. Anyway as you load your cloths it measures the weight so you know how much to put. We are finding that the spin cycle tries to balance itself and won’t fully spin so the cloths are still wet. Even on just the spin cycle. It spins slowly trying to balance and shuts off after 3 attempts. We had a technician come out and it had a stored Error code. He also said that we may need to put in more then 5kg???? It’s got me beat, I didn’t think washing clothes was a science. But I told him that if we remove a item like a towel it will spin. He said that’s just how they are programmed to work. He agreed it was ridiculous programming and also about the 3 hour wash, like who wants to have a wash going for three hours. This product is sold as a 10kg machine, but it’s a part time 10kg machine. We are very unhappy as it’s not performing as it should and under consume warranty law I have the right to a refund or a replacement. I would suggest staying away from this Electrolux product as it pretty much a lemon and being in the automotive trade i have seen a few in my time. The 10kg is misleading and deceptive, Spin is noisy also.

was alarmed when it took over 5 hours for the 90degree wash and over 4 hours for the 60 degree wash. Nor could you delay the start but you can actually increase the time washing . Seriously?? The cycles were all far too long already ! Nowhere in the Electrolux information sheets did it mention this! It’s definitely not a time saving nor energy saving machine as it is promoted. If you only wash on 30 degrees then you are ok. Thank you to the Good Guys for replacing this machine for me ! Electrolux would not !
