Could be better – The one problem with this phone is that the clock keeps very poor time. In one day it gained more than 20 seconds! This is not good to say the least. Show details

Great phone. Does just what it says on the box – Good: - Excellent range works right around our property, inside and out. Much better than our old Uniden Elite 9035 which sometimes struggled in… Read more

distant rooms. - Good voice clarity. - All buttons are backlit. - Screen is clear to read. - Phonebook and incoming call history automatically syncs between handsets. - Easy to use - you can pick it up and use it without fighting it or reading the manual. - Uses standard AAA NiMH batteries so easy to replace when they wear out. - Simple, clean design doesn't look too tacky.

Nitpicks: - Phonebook menu is just ever so slightly laggy to scroll through, but not so bad to be frustrating. I assume this is due to it syncing with the base unit as opposed to being stored only on each handset. - Silly silver paint trim around the edges. This doesn't age well and will likely wear off in no time.

Wish I'd bough one these years ago – I love this phone. The sound is great and it was easy to set up. I love the call blocking feature. It's so much fun to use. I can answer the call… Read more

politely, (or reject it if I want) and while they're asking how am I today and all that twaddle, I can press a couple of buttons, and the call is cut off and blocked for ever. My blood pressure has dropped about 20 points. I'll probably start to reject the calls instantly soon, but for now I'm having too much fun answering with a smile and cutting off these nuisance callers mid-stride. I getting revenge for all the time they've made me waste in the past. Thank you so much for this phone Panasonic. I'm going to recommend it to all my friends.

difference. Phonebook entries need to be manually input - ridiculous in this digital age where entries should able to be copied from another phone. Nothing like the "Clear, Loud and Easy to Use" as advertised.

Excellent with a downside – I purchased this new cordless phone to replace an old Uniden c/ph. I needed a phone that would give me the clarity without blasting my ears with… Read more

volume, because I have been finding it difficult in hearing people clearly and have been missing some words in the conversation. I can tell you that this phone has it all for improving the sound quality, there is even a booster button and a slow function button that slows down the words of fast talkers in real time, although the phone is so clear I have not needed to use these functions. The handset is very comfortable to hold with easy to press function buttons and numbers are a decent size for those with big fingers. There were no issues in setting up the second handset as we just plugged it in and it worked, I have set mine that both ring at the same time, but you can choose how you want them to ring. The big thing for me is that when I get those nuisance calls I simply press the block button and that number can never get through again ( takes up to 250 ) .....The quality of the product is very good and you can feel the solid build. The one downside is that it can be complicated and slow to find and move through the functions looking for the one that you require, the manual is thick for a phone, but you soon learn what functions you want so I only need to go to the manual when I have the need. In summary, If you have a need for a great phone for clarity, possibly an adjustable very loud ring, with more functions than you can use, than this is the phone you need, not what you would call expensive, just good value all round.

I'm astounded this product is on the market. Whilst it's basic function is to record messages (which is does adequately), it also randomly DELETES… Read more

them!

I had around 20 messages stored on the phone which I had wanted to keep but had not yet found a way to download (#spoiler - you can't download them). They were from my Grandmother who recently passed away. It was so special to be able to hear her voice and giggling when she'd update me on something we'd previously spoken about, or thank me for something I did for her and telling me she loved me.

That's all gone now.

This piece of 'kit' deleted them for no reason, and to make matters worse - there's NO way to retrieve them!

I reached out to Panasonic in hope there was a solution I hadn't found, and after back-and-forth a few times, the 'consultant' basically accused me of deleting them myself!! Yeah, seriously. But why would I do that.

If you need a 'gate keeper' when you don't want to answer the phone and have no interest in the messages being left for you or whether they're retained - this phone is perfect. For anything else, I'd definitely look elsewhere!
