Like a couple of other reviews that have mentioned it here, we dealt with this mob as Pure Homes. They closed and took our $3135 deposit and resurfaced as Haven Pods. Stay away. Show details

Needed a granny flat, Council fees ridiculous. Found VanHomes who do road-registerable caravan granny flats with minimal Council. It arrived as a… Read more

large caravan and then folded out like reverse origami, to produce a 2 bed 60m2 flat with great kitchen and bathroom. The whole product is really lovely. BUT - the staff are brilliant! Never seen a company where any staff you meet are singing the praises of the boss. Never been treated with such respect and friendliness by staff, who all said hello as they passed by. A minor warranty call was dealt with quickly and with a smile. What a lovely example of an Australian regional manufacturer getting it RIGHT!

We highly recommend SILKO HOME and Amin Mehr (Sales Rep) as the Number One choice for all your extra storage space or office space needs. From our… Read more

first meeting with Amin, we knew that he would deliver a quality product. He was upfront about what we could or couldn't do based on the local council specs, with our storage pod. Within a very short period of time, the pieces arrived at our new home in Moe and various trades attended in a well co-ordinated time-frame. Communication from Amin and the various tradies to us was outstanding. The storage pod is perfect and has exceeded our expectations.

Thank you, Amin Mehr.

Disappointed with my Purchase and overall experience – Dealing with the company started Positive, but once the shipment arrived in Australia it was all negative. Missing Components, electrical wiring not… Read more

to Standards, poor structure quality & Condition. Very Disappointing. During the entire dealing with this Company, I dealt with [Name Removed]. Once I contacted him regarding the issues, he kept on changing his opinion of what was the issue. As I was getting nowhere with [Name Removed], I requested the Name of someone Else I could speak with. To date I have not received any Names. My original dealing with [Name Removed], he would always reply quickly to my Text, now NOT THE CASE. I have also asked for Compensation, for my out of pocked expenses. After asking several times, he said No.

Today I lost power to one section of the Home. An electrician was called, and said the issue was faulty wiring. The wiring was brittle and just broke.

I would definitely not recommend this Company.

I look forward to any Feedback from Yourselves or the Company

ourselves. The plumbing is not up to Aust Standards so his website is incorrect when he says "just get your local plumber in". They won't touch it. [Name Removed] actually hung up on our plumber who phoned him directly to asked him about it. He will no longer respond to our calls or emails. This guy is a complete rip off with false advertising. He doesn't complete his jobs yet asks for full payment in advance. I've had it for about a year now and the lino is ripping along the seams. UPDATE Front door collapsed. No spares available. Had to have a custom door made. Cost another $3000.

Substandard build, unsuitable for permanent living. Terrible insulation throughout, a nightmare during rain and storms. No floor insulation,… Read more

freezing cold in winter. When I investigated why it gets so cold, I found out that they build my granny flat with a 6-star energy efficiency rating, instead of 7-stars, which it should have been after 1.May 2024. Don't know how the certifier could approve it and why he would.

Appalling customer service once you signed up and made first payment. Director doesn't like to be criticised by a woman. One of those. Very unpleasant.

Quality is below average. One employee stated that THC saved themselves thousands of dollars by replacing materials used in their display homes with cheaper substitutes, and it shows.

The cost has reached $250k already, including footing and connections, but will be thousands more, if I have to put in better insulation. It's a real money pit.

Nice touch to employ the daughter to make it look like it's a nice, friendly family business. It's not!

Big mistake to go with Tiny Home Central.
