peace of mind. We only wanted indoor sensors placed where intruders can be picked up if they got in. For just under $2300 we had Bosch alarm installed with 4 sensors, 2 fobs, wall pad along with indoor and outdoor (with strobe light)sirens. The outdoor box is very streamlined and was installed near the garage door so it can be easily seen. Also included was a 12 month subscription to an app which is so useful. After 12 months subscription is $180+GST. How many times do you drive off get half way down the street and wonder if you turned on the alarm well the app lets you know if you have armed the alarm and if you haven’t you can do it from the app on your mobile. There is also a panic button. When you arm alarm and drive off a beep is sent to your phone letting you know it’s on. A couple of times I’ve forgotten to turn alarm off. When this happens, mine and my husbands phones ring immediately to let us the alarm has been tripped. Great app. You can also isolate sections to have part of the alarm on at night. If you forget and walk into part of house armed you have 60seconds to turn alarm off. Would highly recommend AOK security service and product are A1.

Quick delivery of ordered Network Video Recorder – I ordered a HIK Vision NVR on Tuesday 12 July and it arrived on my doorstop in Canberra on Thursday 14 July morning. Excellent service. The price was the best I could find (sourced from Australia). I would definitely order from CTC Security again.

Overall, they did a great job, Matt (the owner) made himself available to us in person, by email and over the phone and was great onsite confirming our plans.

So far (Jan 2019), everything is still going great. The only minor issues we had/have:

- drilling a hole in the wrong spot for a camera, but that's been patched up

- requirement for a static IP address from our ISP so that we can monitor our cameras via the phone app

- to turn the alarm on/off - option of either a chime or no chime to alert you the alarm has been turned on/off - however the chime is so loud (especially at night) so would have been great to change volume of the chime

- we requested to run a HDMI cable from upstairs to downstairs so that I can watch Foxtel downstairs whilst the Foxtel box is upstairs. It works - however, the cable must be an old HDMI cable as it does not support 4K resolution. I didn't request a 4K cable so I can;t blame them, however in this day & age it would have been ideal for any HDMI cabling to be 4K compliant (or atleast given the option) - i just assumed it would be (and forgot to confirm). Now I am unable to send a 4K signal from upstairs to downstairs. And there's no way to re-run the cabling.

Other than that, Platinum were great and recommended.

How I’m spending money on a Solisitor to help amend this poorly installed camera system and the equipment was down graded to cheap cameras and system that dose not do any or my requirement. $750 camera system for $8540. How do companies operate and keep there license and company doing such low acts
