Australia I lodged a claim for medical expenses with all required evidence. 1Cover stated this would be resolved within 2 weeks. The management of my claim was courteous, thorough and professional with good communication to discuss queries and issues. As stated, my claim was resolved within the promised time frame. This was a huge relief and reduced some of the trauma of the medical issues so I can now focus on my full recovery.

I travelled to the Philippines in April 2024. I became acutely ill over there, a female solo traveller . I had 12 Case Managers with no duty of care and continuity. Very happy instant response upon initial contact.Easy policy to set up online, the cost has certainly been worth it.My claim has been attended to very quickly, probably been even Quicker if I wasn't so ill and unable to send documents in correct format. Unfortunately we had to cancel our travel insurance prior to leaving on a cruise recently because of an emergency medical episode. Drs recommended we not go on our holiday. My worries were not needed as my claim was paid out in full, minus the excess figure and I was very happy with the service they gave me. This gives me satisfaction for the future as we have two more holidays coming up and both are with 1Cover Travel Insurance and I will at least feel safe in the knowledge that they will cover my back in a medical emergency, which I hope does not happen again.

100% disappointed – I am absolutely appalled by this dicky insurance company. Easy to pay them and get insurance, quite another to have it honoured. Alot of the time when we are looking for something like this we end up feeling penalised for having a condition which is of no fault of our own . Plus we have good control and can be viewed as healthy as other people who don’t have medical conditions.

I also love the option to purchase medical only insurance ,only thing I would like to change is having the option for the medical only when on a mobile phone. We can only access that option when we browse for insurance on a laptop or computer.

So thank you once again and you will definitely have both of us as returning customers when its time to travel next. I also believe it is good value for the peace of mind .

medical practitioner. Cannot understand why this hike is so steep. Realise that insurance companies have had a lot of payouts with bushfires and floods in the last few years - is this the reason people with existing medical conditions are being overcharged?
