Worst sales and after sales service unless you are dressed in Lycra or look like a rich man they ignore and don't seem to want to serve you. I bought a ladies cruiser bike for a good price, but once you leave the shop that's it. phone. I got a text to book in 4months later when you leave a message with the mechanic one calls you back, or they hang up on your call, when I finally did get through the clerk lied and said I bought the bike to long ago for the 1st service.

North Lakes store.. Very rude and arrogant staff. Made the mistake of attending this store today and whilst a few people inside not overly busy the staff were more interested in each other . Missed out on a $2000 sale. I wish I had read the reviews before trying to support this local business.

Fantastic Service in Penrith Store form Ethan – Spoke to Ethan and he was fantastic, extremely knowledgeable about the products I required. After talking options he did the height measurement and configured the bike I chose (without an pressure) and also help with bike conversation bars for other bikes. And he also went out of his way to show the best practice of put new bike on our bike rack on vehicle. Thank you Ethan for Fantastic Service. Show details

I bought a Pedal Roar 24” Kids Bike from the store. After bringing it home, my kids took it for a proper test ride and we realised it was a 6-speed bike, even though the website advertises it as 7-speed. I called the store a day after the purchased to ask about this and inquired about the bike’s speed specification. At first, the staff member… Read more

said it was 7-speed. When I explained that I had purchased the bike a day before and it was only 6-speed, he cut me off and said it was actually 6-speed and that the website specification was wrong and might need to be updated.

To me, this sounds odd, but I can only take his word for it and hope that the advertisement is corrected and reflects the full and accurate specifications.

I have been a loyal customer of 99 Bikes for over 10 years, but my experience at the Castle Hill store has finished that relationship completely. I purchased a Merida Big.Trail 300 Hardtail, and within just 2 days, the chain snapped while my son was… Read more

riding. This catastrophic failure caused him to flip over the handlebars and hit his head against a stationary car. It was a terrifying situation. When I went back to the store to report this major safety defect, I expected support. Instead, the staff were incredibly rude, refused to take any responsibility, and showed zero empathy for the fact that a child was injured due to their product. To sell a bike that breaks in 48 hours is bad enough; to treat a long-term customer with such disrespect when safety is involved is unforgivable. I will never buy from 99 Bikes again. Parents, please be careful trusting this store with your family's safety.

I have returned the cycle and received the funds in my account.

Follow-up  · What was the response time? I went to the shop and they didn't responded well and I had to show my frustration to 3 different people then they responded. How was the refund process? It was ok Did they offer a replacement No

I have never bought a boke from the store but I have bought plenty of parts for the bokes we own. We own about 20 bikes ranging from very young children to adults. bought a bike from the store is because all the bikes we own were purchased second hand or left of the side of the road for council to take.

The staff are also very helpful in providing advice on how to fix a bike we find or someone gives to us.

I think the store and the way they are run is exceptional. Also, it appears as if the staff actually know a lot about bikes.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Bought a new bike before Xmas. (Roughly and $800 bike on sale down to $500). Bought new pedals just after Xmas at same store. Employee from the store fitted the pedals. Pedal fell off and the pedal had stripped the thread. 99 bikes apparently replaced the crank arm and completed the first free service. since it was… Read more

replaced have been back 4 times because pedals and pedal arms were slipping immediately after the service was completed. Was told it was fixed. Literally rode the bike out of the shop and went back in 5 minutes because it wasn’t fixed. Bike mechanic was told it was still happening and his response was “I don’t f*%king know what’s wrong with it.” Finally fixed the slipping issue after we had left the bike at the store but it caused the gears to make noise and the pedal arms were to creak. Took it back again and was told that my 12yo son was “riding it faster than it should go, and wasn’t greasing the chain often enough.” Also told “chain was loose and it’s not a road bike”. I would have thought the chain would have been check at least when it was brought back numerous times. Then told we had to buy degreaser and chain lube for the bike (upselling). 2 month old bike sounding like a used bike and being told it’s the 12yo old fault. Have bought bikes from Kmart that have lasted longer than this one. Lip service and no accountability followed by offensive language and being told it’s user error. Not a chance I’d tell anyone to go there or ever go back. I’d rather pay to go to another bike store to get it sorted than deal with 99 bikes. They did fix the bike for free over and over but the whole experience was very disappointing

Sales staff were unhelpful as straight answers were hard to come by. Felt like I was with a dodgy second hand car salesman collecting my information rather than them giving advice or information. Walked in off the street to ask about my bike not changing gears, the technician said without hesitation, "let me have a look now, if i can help will do it straight away, if not we can do it after new year". 5 Min later he had sorted my problem. also want to put a deposit on a new 29inch Sivler back that I saw on their Internet site & this time I was speaking with two staff members their names were Chris & Declan very helpful and both of them I thought when out of their way to help me as they could see I wasn't a professional bike rider but they treated me like I was one. In by the way they were making sure this was the right bike for me & my height as I have had a medium 29 inch frame but now I want to try a Large or a XL frame. They only had a Large Sivler back which the staff member Declan advice me it maybe to big for me which I thought was good Ducking customers service . But I felt comfortable on it so I asked Declan could he please ordered me a XL 29inch Sivler back which he did for me ,thank you Declan for your help . A few days after putting a deposit for a new bike I started to get worried about maybe that I should have taken Declan advice just in case the bike frame was to big for me so I rang back to store & spoke to Chris who said I wouldn't lose my 50.00 Dollars deposit this was a relief. Two months later I went to their new store at Royal Park to pick-up my new bike, while picking up my bike I also met another two staff member their names were Ben& Chris once again Ben & Chris,Declan all of these staff members have great public relations skills in reassuring me if that I have any trouble with the bike or frame in that it is to big for me, that I could swap it over with in 30 days of purchase . I have purchased a few bikes in my lifetime from other stores & been ripped off, but have never been given so much advise & help from the staff members at 99Bikes Royal Park well done.
