Just walked out of there, terrible service. Rude brown man very unhelpful telling us “it’s too busy on weekends to test ride, people steal them” 3 professionals in our 40’s…. I said well we want to buy today but need to test drive….. nothing. Well done losing at least $10k in sales.
MANY thanks to the wonderful mechanics staff who last Saturday, for the third time over the past several years, dropped everything to repair my wheelchair as they recognise that my mobility is totally dependent on having a functioning wheelchair. In my experience only the Cannon Hill staff recognise this fact and so I'm happy to drive 35-40… Read more
minutes from the south western side of Brisbane to receive this immediate service when I call to book in my wheelchair. Much appreciated again!
North Lakes store.. Very rude and arrogant staff. Made the mistake of attending this store today and whilst a few people inside not overly busy the staff were more interested in each other . Missed out on a $2000 sale. I wish I had read the reviews before trying to support this local business.

Norco Slight – Ipswich sales and service are excellent, have always valued their advice on anything bikes, thx Tim.
Atmos Gap – Bought this bike specifically for the BVRT around Esk. Bike has filled the role well.Staff wee friendly, helpfully and informative. 1 x 8 transmission has proved more than adequate, mechanical discs work well and the overall quality of the bike seems excellent for the cost . Have done over 60 ks at this stage...happy! Show details
Excellent Service – I went into 99 Bikes to get some cycle shoes for my RPM class at the gym. I was greeted by Tony, whom I knew was immediately going to be amazing, as whilst walking with another customer, he asked that customer if he could be excused just to greet us and ask if we needed help! He then said he would be 5 minutes, which he was, and proceeded to… Read more · 1
help me find a good fitting shoe and the cleat set that I needed. I wasn't entirely sure if I was getting the right thing, so he put the items on hold for me until I checked with my RPM Instructor, who confirmed I was getting the right shoes.
When I went back to purchase the shoes, Tony fitted the cleat set to the shoe and said I could bring them back any time for adjustment.
I felt like I had stepped back in time, to the way Customer Service was about 20 years ago, it was so refreshing. Thanks a bunch Tony - there aren't many out there like you anymore!
highly recommended – I have to say that Guilherme, apart from working on what he likes, is a very good and kind person, who helps you with any questions or curiosity you have. Yesterday I went to buy a bike and he convinced me that the product I was looking for was the right one, apart from making the warranty and availability clear in case something goes wrong in the coming weeks. Thanks Again Guilherme. Show reply
Great end to our holiday – We received fantastic customer service today from Jack. He deserves a Cinnamon Scroll. Show details · 1

Purchased my first bike that was listed online for $1199 Received a older model and 3 year old damaged floor stock instead of Was told the price was reflective of the damage even though it was listed online nation wide for this price Incorrect charger was with the unit We reached an agreement to keep the old model, largely because I wasn’t… Read more
confident repackaging the unit to return it
All in all I’m sad that I just wanted to buy my first new bike and ended up with a damaged old unit with 50km on the odometer
All in all really dissatisfied with 99 bikes and their customer service

Happy customer but unhappy reviewer! – I took my red/black and white Colnago bike into 99 Bikes Indooroopilly 4068 QLD on Sat 7/7/24 and a number of staff helped me. Maybe the main person was Kadel (not sure of his name)? He fitted new tyres and tubes to my bike and then did a few things like lubricating my gear levers, giving the bike a quick clean and other little jobs. They did not… Read more · 1
take a long time but made a big difference to the bike which I had not ridden for probably 5 or 6 years. I am lending it to a friend from Colombia who doesn't speak much English and would not have been able to ask for these jobs to be done. I was not charged for these jobs - only for fitting the tyres and tubes. I was very impressed and hope you are able to track down the staff member who did this for me. My name is David - I am a member with phone number 0401 990 792. Many thanks. I don't know how to attach my emailed receipt in the "Attach private proof of purchase" but my purchase was on Saturday 7th July and the invoice was for $140 for 2 tyres and tubes. - very happy! [not sure if I have done the review correctly - it's a bit hard to follow for an oldie like me!] Hours later I received an email about submitting my review. Before I retired from work I was the head of IT in a number of very large organisations. I have to say that the review process you have is the worst piece of software I have seen for a very long time! Not anything like the excellent customer service I received at your Indooroopilly store! I suggest you have the review process completely redone.
Do not shop at this store – This was the most terrible retail experience ive ever had. Ordered a $1k bike. Wasn’t told that it was ready to be picked up. I had to call after a week and was told its ready when i called. Who knows how long it had been ready. I got to the store 20 minutes before closing but immediately said i’m picking a bike and if theres not enough time i… Read more
can come back tomorrow. The gentlemen said twice theres heaps of time and invited me in. Then disappeared to the back. I was left with a lady. She asked if i had any questions. I said i was new to biking and didnt know much. She showed me absolutely nothing on the bike. I said i wanted a few things to be added and she said its best to check those things out online. I said the guy i spoke to last time said they’re in store. She then said yeah over there and said she knew nothing about them. Was very reluctant to help. Clearly didnt want to be there. Get another job if you dont want to help people.
Bike also assembled poorly. Front wheel didnt face straight forward. Handle bars were facing downwards, not frontwards. Bolts were loose. Front wheel drags on the brake. Will be taking this back to be looked at. Genuinely terrible retail experience. Will not be getting anything else from 99bikes
Fantastic service - especially for younger riders – I took my daughter (8) to 99 Bikes - Ashgrove to purchase a level-up bike after she had made the transition from a training-wheel rider to a speedy and excited two-wheel rider. I had previously bought my own bike from 99 Bikes but I still started researching around online and watching videos on the best bikes for her age group. 99 Bikes had a… Read more · 1
fantastic range of bikes that were suitable and she could use for many years. We had already looked online so knew the bike we were looking for, however, the assistants helped us out by asking some questions, like what we wanted in a bike and the main reasons we had chosen that particular model. They seemed genuinely interested and passionate about finding the right style and function to suit my daughter. Once we had chosen we asked for a test ride, which they were more than happy to organise. I was very impressed at how thorough they were with a safety check on the bike my daughter would test. Once we had chosen the bike to purchase they let us know that it was still boxed up and they would need to assemble it. This was in the morning and we were keen to go on a ride that day, so unfortunately we thought we might need to wait a day or two. But, (and this is one of the main reasons I'm writing this review) they spoke to the bike mechanics and worked out they could assemble it and have it ready to ride before they closed. Fantastic! My daughter was extremely excited. When we went to collect the bike one of the assistants taught my daughter about the gearing system and how and when to change gears, which was very helpful. I could tell the bike was expertly assembled and everything worked perfectly and the bike just felt solidly built and of high quality. My daughter LOVES her bike and has changed from a slightly scared bike rider to now asking if we can go riding almost every afternoon. A few weeks later we went back in to upgrade our helmets and the same assistants recognised us and asked my daughter how her bike was going. I thought that was very nice of them. We'll also be taking her bike back in for the free first service they offer. Overall, 99 Bikes had a fantastic range and I could tell the people who work there have a passion for introducing kids to the world and fun of bike riding. If you want good service and good quality bikes, I recommend you head to 99 Bikes.

These guys are my local. I've been taking my mountain bikes to them for the past 5 years for servicing and parts and they are excellent. Recently had an "Ultimate" service, pivot bearing replacement and freehub replacement. They know what they're doing and are a great team. Huge raps this time for Nick whose customer service and tech skills are exemplary. Show details · 1
Bought my Pedal Titan 11 in January 24. Just clicked up 1200 ks of trail, mostly forest riding at Nerang and have to say she is still going great. Servicing with 99 bikes is easy, even added a Dropper Seat and upgraded work gears and tyres, just recently, Very happy with the bike, service and team there. Thank you guys. Show details · 2

I bought a Pedal Thrasher from here in January, I was unable to use it til April and what a heap of [Content Removed]! I've ridden it 8 times and every time it feels worse, noisy cranks, uncomfortable riding and all round a horrible bike! Don't buy any PEDAL bikes as absolute GARBAGE! The store service was great and I'm not reviewing that but the bike is [Content Removed]! Anyone wants one they can buy this off me for $250. Show details

Took a couple of bikes in for service with specific requirements, stated and repeated at drop off. Collect, pay, get home and 1 bike still has the same issue and the other, I don't think they even looked at it. commisson led just want to churn through as many customers as possible and the result is that the service is dreadful Expensive for what you get. A distinct lack of knowledge of actually riding bikes. The staff could be selling anything, cars, commodities, food...it's just a thing, there is no emotion. It's a shame.

99 Bikes sold me a Pedal e-bike that has parts that are not fit for service. For a bike that was less then 6 months old and less than 1000 kilometres. The bike needed a new cassette and chain due to gear skipping. bike. Also I purchase a extra service warranty but was never explained how to use it. The funny thing is that I do like my bike and it riding well ATM. The Ananda drivetrain is still performing splendidly now at 2000 kilometres. Be aware what you purchase, don't make my mistake of being to trusting!

Denying Statutory warranty – I have purchased a Rever Sport from 99 Bikes in NSW in November 2023. The bikes electric propulsion failed after 8 months, and 99 Bikes are denying statutory warranty based on "failure to service or maintain the bicycle", despite 99 Bikers failure to outline the steps that could have been taken to "Maintain" the sealed electric drive. 99 Bikes… Read more
are not offering the option to repair or replace the Befang mid mount drive, they have suggested "as a goodwill gesture" a $500 discount on a new purchase. I cannot take this up as I have lost all trust in this company. I have hit a brick wall with 99 bikes and have lodged a complaint with Fair Trading.
Incredibly rude staff – I went to the Kawana 99Bikes store to enquire about an electrical bike. I was asking the sales staff about a certain government grant and what the conditions were, when one of them, an older man with glasses that appeared to be some sort of manager, cut in and said that if I am just buying a bike to get the grant, "I probably don't deserve a… Read more

I travel to visit this bike shop! – Fabulous service. Took my bike rack in for some minor repairs and it was done immediately. Service was excellent and very professional. Extremely helpful and friendly staff every time I go there. Even though I have moved away from the area and it is no longer my closest store, I still come here because of the staff and service. 98 clowns – Had my ebike in for warranty for a (my diagnosis) faulty charger. No, they had to have the whole bike. Excuses after excuses for 3 weeks. Nothing done. Then told it needed new battery. the inconvenience? Also derailleur was supposed to have been straightened, Instead the clowns have stripped the thread in the hanger! Now I have to source a new one of those. Pull tab on rubber charge port torn off.' Damage to paint on frame. Will not ever buy Anything here again, wouldn't trust them to boil an egg.
Great Service – Strongly recommend! After moving across town I was looking for a new bike shop and I'll definitely be coming back to Everton Park after a great first experience. I found Mitch in the workshop super easy to deal with, trust-worthy, and efficient.
Great Service Experience - 99Bikes Bowen Hills Brisbane – Had not had my Scott carbon mountain bike serviced for a number of years and had a very noisy bottom bracket. wheels, chain, chain rings, cassette etc So while some dollars later the bike has never felt better. Had one issue and returned the bike which they fixed promptly. Can't fault the service I got - 4 months later bike is still wonderful to ride and no issues. Thanks Josiah P. you did a great job and explained what you were doing the whole time. Will be back.
The Workshop people are excellent – I can only give this shop 5 stars in regard to the workshop. Polite, told me exactly what they felt needed to be done and saved me money by telling me other things weren't necessary. I thought what they charged as well was really fair. Show reply
