Fabulous service by Bailey – I broke a front derailleur cable & needed it fixed quickly. Not only did Bailey at 99 Bikes Burleigh get the job done super-fast, but he also noticed an issue with the rear derailleur, replaced the cable, & now both front & rear are working like new. Show reply

No phone number then no sale – I wanted a new seat saddle. At the checkout I was not interested in joining their Club Membership, but they would not sell the seat saddle to me unless I provided my mobile phone number and no doubt other contact details for recording into their computer system. Capturing a phone number is not a requirement for warranty purposes or the issue of a tax invoice. I purchased elsewhere without the need to supply my phone number
Happy to sell new items but don’t expect after sales service – Purchased new bike. Recieved email about bike service shortly after purchasing. Dropped off bike at 930AM. Returned at 130PM. Technician advised “Not ready yet just looking for job to do” Left store to grab drink but decided to return and collect bike. Technician taking in 1-2 jobs. Brakes Don’t Work Despite Several Attempts By Their Mechanic – 1) Bought new bike and took it home. 2) The brakes locked up so I drove it all the way back to the shop. 3) Left bike with them for repair. 4) Drove all the way back to pick it up and took it home. 5) The brakes locked up again. This time I waited. 8) Got the bike home and what do you think happened? 9) Drove it back to the shop and I waited again so I didn’t have to drive back and pick it up. The mechanic did a full brake service that usually costs around $50. 10) Got it home and the brakes locked up. 11) I returned the bike. AGAIN! And requested new brakes. Mechanic said the brakes are fine and they just need adjusting. I expressed dissatisfaction that I had to keep driving all the way to their shop because of these brakes. He assured me they would be fine. 12) Got the bike home and guess what? The brakes locked up again.
Obviously I won’t return the bike to them for a sixth time because that would make me a complete and utter fool. If he couldn’t install them correctly the first, second, third, fourth, and fifth time - why would he be able to the sixth?
