These guys are my local. I've been taking my mountain bikes to them for the past 5 years for servicing and parts and they are excellent. Recently had an "Ultimate" service, pivot bearing replacement and freehub replacement. They know what they're doing and are a great team. I’ve since been to another 99 bikes store closer to me a few days after my visit to Everton Park to get some additional bits and pieces….the service received at the other store simply doesn’t compare to how welcome Alec and the team at Everton Park were to both myself and other customers.

Follow up service great – I put in my new (second hand) mountain bike for some repairs and a service. Everything seemed ok after picking up the bike, but I found my old disks were glazed and noisy when my brakes were applied. Excellent Service – My son's mountain bike was in a sorry state but has been completely overhauled. New brakes front and rear, new grips, new cables all round, wheels trued, bottom bearing, rear derailleur and a full tune and grease. Looks and rides like a new bike. Great service, starting to love the e-bike, but no one told me I couldn't take the battery out easily? – I just bought a cheap second e-bike for my commute and trips to bars and cafes down dark alleys. The service was great though the boys were really rushed as it was a Sunday. check, but as it was so busy I did not want to bother them further. Now I'm a bit stuck as I would like to remove the battery, but it does look a bit tricky. Can you tell me if it is okay to remove the screws and take the battery out of the diagonal tube? Or, is it possible to get a bigger battery for my Pedal Jaguar?

Just really helpful – It was a problem-with-keys weekend. One bicycle lock key was no longer working. And I'd lost the key to our bicycle car rack. The person who helped us was just so helpful. I have a new bicycle lock (the old one had just given up the ghost really) and they've ordered a new key for the car rack. What I appreciated though was the friendly and helpful approach. Customer service was great – Took my son in to buy him a new bike. The salesman was good with him and involved him in the sale. Took him out the back and showed him how he was going to triple check the bike was in good shape prior to is taking it out of the store. another damn fine job done by the boys – bike had seized cable for dropper, brakes needed a tune needed new grips only thing they could not fix is the nut that hold handlebar, i need a new seat ill go back down , they were efficient did a good job and i jumped straight on it and did 30 k around town, and they cleaned it like new as i was using castrol high speed chain lube guaranteed over 200kph fling off Show details ·  1

Great work on Service, unfortunately recommended and sold a different tyre to my expectations – The guys at 99 Bikes did a great job of my recent service (which was a pretty major overhaul) and at my request ordered in some new tyres. I had told the guys that I was looking for puncture resistance and road holding grip (since there is so much rainy weather recently on my commute). ordered tyres that they were a smaller gauge which means it will have less road holding capability than my previous....I'm a big guy and had an accident in the wet last year, so this concerns me, but I don't know I'm going to get anywhere by trying to return the fitted item. I'll give these a go, but perhaps in future please pay particular attention to customer requirements and if you are going to 'downgrade' an existing part, to ensure that the reduction is something the customer is willing to accept.

Great Service – The staff were awesome. Needed new pedals for my bike. The staff member was very helpful and helped me choose the right ones. I then had to come back later as I was struggling to remove one of the pedals. Again the staff were super friendly and helpful took the bike into the service area and replaced the pedals straight away. Jason leads a team that goes above and beyond – Always greeted within seconds. Plenty of stock in the store to test out and willing to work with what you want not what the shops need sold.
