During the sale, they are amazing...but if you have a problem after the sale, don't expect the same service! – I bought a bike for my son, spent $800. The service amazing! Took the wheel off and put it in my car. During that 1st week, there were noises and brakes were tight so I called and took the bike back down. Parked right out the front just in front of the door. in". Ok so clearly not the same service. I get the tyre and the bike and bring into the store. Again staff "Just take the bike down there" and points to the workshop. me "so your not going to help me carry it down". "No just take it down there". WOW The nice bloke from the workshop helps me bring it back up to the front of the store and when starts looking at it, says to another staff member "I don't understand how they let this bike go out like this" WOW. This shop definitely only seems to worry about money coming in and nothing about what the customers are getting or how they treat them once you have spent your money! I should also add that my friend who bought a bike from this shop also had told me this about the shop. Great service when buying but if you have a problem, they are shocking! I really should have listened to my friend!
Shocking service – Ordered a bike in oct for a birthday in November was guaranteed delivery in early December bike didn't arrive till February never received return phone calls about this matter ever. Constantly had to chase the shop was assured I would receive relevant compensation. I will never buy a product through 99 bikes ever again completely incompetent staff and will never recommend for anyone.
Atrociously Overpriced – Water bottle, simple bottle holder. Two lights. $70. Feel sick to my stomach i went through with transaction in hindsight. Go ANY where else. Kmart and so on. Everything is just overpriced and even "discounted club price" is still atrocious.

Positive customer sales and service – Sales guidance was not pressured and available test rides of bikes were a good option. Following the subsequent purchase of an e-bike, 'walk-in customer' assistance was promptly and amicably provided in clarifying minor queries. A requested personalised 'modification' to the bike was looked in to by the workshop, with a solution found and sorted out on the bike. All in all, a positive customer experience! Show details

Great service and friendly sales – Had a chat with Ric who sorted me out with a brand new bike off shelf. Did a good deal for me and made sure the bike was ready to go out the door with tyres pumped and safety checks. Got the parts needed for an old bike – Went in there to try to find parts for my 25 + yr old Giant mountain bike and Alexander, who served me was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding older bike parts and spent quite a while chasing up whether parts would work for me, which they did. Genuine mechanical help – Came in with a repair that I started and couldn’t complete. Turned out I did a good job, and despite having a booking for a repair, was encouraged to finish the job myself, with my booking held incase I need it. Turned out I did need it. and support when I really needed it. Max (the mechanic) was awesome and sorted out my problem at the minimum expense to me. Really appreciated his advice and quick help when really needed. Thanks a bunch Max! Now ready to hit the trails on our big MTB trip to Buller. End of the day it’s always hard to know if you can trust a mechanic, nice to know there are those out there who you can be trusted and relied on. Thanks again Max and overall 99 bikes.

Excellent customer service, very professional and helpful! – I went in to get a new rear wheel and my brakes to be functional again. In the process, they noticed my crankset was loose, which they fixed up and told me what to look for in the future at no charge. They were so friendly and accommodating, both on the phone and in person. I was told my bike would be ready by Friday.... nah it was done early on Wednesday! Great work, thanks!! Staff are amazing but I'm not happy with the scooter which I purchased yesterday – 1- Does not have the power to climb the slope of the street ( Suitable only for flat streets ) 2- The distance from my house to the metro station is only 1600 meters , also station to my office is 700 meters. In fact, this scooter eventually travels 9 to 10 kilometers on a full charge. 3- The brakes are very weak and can not be controlled in case of emergency or steep slope and is very dangerous. 4- The engine is noisy and a sign of trouble. 5- In wet ground, the rear wheel sprays water on the clothes.
