Awesome – I joined Activ8me as I was having a lot of issues with a previous company. Never had any issues with these guys... there was an error in between bills but they fixed it in no time which I was super happy with. Love the customer service as I’ve always spoken to Australians! Stay away..Worst customer service/tech support – Terrible customer service and terrible tech support. Internet went down due to opticomm outage but everyone’s came back next day except Activ8me. website claims that their support team will get back in touch within 15 minutes, I've regularly at to wait at least 12 hours, only for them to ring twice and then hang up.

Lodged a call 3 hours ago for the latest internet issue and still no response. Time to change suppliers, I think. Recommend people stay away from this one and find a more customer focused supplier.

day notice period which is not published on the website but hidden in the fine print. Good luck getting a response to emails, and call wait times on the help line are ridiculous, clear your schedule. If you're looking for poor service there are plenty of providers out there for far cheaper. Wouldnt even recommend to my worst enemy. BEWARE!

from home I could never rely on Activ8me. Attempting to contact their tech support is impossible, either busy, not calling back, not working on weekends, or blaming my hardware and cables. I recently switched to another provider, and so far had no issues with the same hardware setup and the customer service which actually answers my calls (even in the evening on the weekend). Until they resolve issues with the tech and customer service they are not just not worth the money, but will give you too much headache to worry about something which should be very simple at this age.

couple days after signing up. So no service used. Not only did I get a monthly bill, but was charged a large cancellation fee as well. When I tried to explain the situation to them, they weren’t helpful at all. I was told they would listen to the calls to see what was said, and call me back, but clearly didn’t bother. The final result was a credit note for their own company. So I’m quite a decent sum of money out of pocket for making a phone call. I’m so disappointed.

for leaving. I was promptly told that I would have to pay my current bill as I had not made contact with them before the billing cycle started and that they needed 30 days notice for any cancellation in spite of my 12 month plan having elapsed by 6 months. The agent was very passive-aggressive when telling me that the cancellation conditions were "very obvious" on the contract. As I had tried to call them 4 days before the cycle started I gave them the phone numbers I called from and they said their supervisor would investigate which would take 2 days. 2 days later an agent tried to contact me but as I was at work I was unable to pick up. When I called back the next day I was met with another hour of hold music (as I no longer trust the callback feature), and an agent who said they couldn't handle my case and would have to get the original agent to call me back later that day, even though they work in the same department. The original agent made contact with me and was again very very passive-aggressive and snarky when stating that they only had records of the number I used after the billing cycle started, and that I still needed to pay in line with the cancellation conditions. I explained that I had gone back to the email they sent me containing my "contract", only to find it was a summary and did not contain any cancellation conditions, and I had to dig through their website to find a single line in a 17 page document that supported their argument. I asked for the matter to be escalated to a supervisor (which again, I would have to be called back another day for), and told the agent that if Activ8me did not rectify this issue I would be making a complaint with the Telecommunications Ombudsman. Since this last call I have received a relatively blank email with a credit receipt and a customer service survey request. No one has notified me that my service was finally cancelled. The only indication I could find was a "not active" notice next to my service on the customer portal.

I have been working in customer service for 15 years. I was once told when I was first starting out that if you provide someone with a good experience they may go tell a couple people, but if a bad experience is given they will go away and tell everyone they know. You best believe that I am going to tell everyone I know.

They don’t call you back for days when you press call back button (and that’s after already waiting for over an hour every time). Their prices are WAY TOO HIGH for the speeds they offer. Please do yourself a favour and find another provider. They are shocking and need to lose all their customers. Even one star is one too many.

wrong or end... must be your router... you require a lan cable to test correctly... to the point where they said to rule out it being an issue their end they would lodge a complaint with opticom!!!. Then I had to work from home with terrible speeds and connectivity issues. Rung a competitor within 15 minutes I was signed up and connected with over 100mbps!!! Using my original net gear night hawk router which they said was faulty!!!! I never in the 12 months with activ8 me got those speeds even though I was paying for them. I have sent 2 complaint emails since with no reply!! Opticom has limited providers but I recommend going with anyone else!!

Unreliable – The company seems to have total technical meltdowns periodically which are not NBN related. Skymuster also has regular problems eg it goes down when it rains, regular dropouts. with Telstra if I could. There is no option to pay straight away online if you fall behind, so you're forced to wait hours to get in contact to sort that out which can become a major inconvenience when you're working through the hours that they are available.

I'm currently trying to reach customer support as i have been having major connection issues over the past week with not only my service dropping completely out. But now I can't even find the router on any of my devices. I've only had this service for 6 months.

What an absolute disappointment – The connection is absolutely terrible. Getting speeds between 1-5mbps whilst paying for the 25mbps plan that promises 24mbps. sounded like she had no time for my complaint and that I was being unreasonable. Came back with an offer to waive the exit fee but offered no compensation for the terrible service that has been encountered since we first connected. I’m pushing so hard for this because the internet is absolutely useless. I have to hotspot my phone to my work computer to ensure a stable connection. While this complaint has been ongoing Activ8me sent a text saying people in my area haven’t been receiving the speed they pay for so have applied a one off $10 credit which brings the cost down to their 12mbps plan but when the typical evening speed is less than 5 we aren’t even getting the speeds of their lowest plan. Absolutely false advertising on all their marketing campaigns. The complaint is ongoing but I just wanted to put this up in the hope that it stops people from going through what I’ve been going through since may.
