registered on my phone. It can happen I guess, but the tracking link did not work. And they left all the plastic packaging with me so I need to dispose of it. I am really disappointed in my experience.
I ordered couches June 22 still waiting for my couches. Everytime I ring I get different answers. September said it would be early early October got told October 17 phoned October 19 and got told container landed October 17 phoned today 24th got told container landed 21st I asked if I ring next week will I be told container just landed. paid a lot of money and so far for nonsense answers and no couches. Not sure if they exist at this stage. I asked for a no nonsense answer when will I get my couches. [Name Removed] could not answer. So far 18 weeks if ordering couches from Adriatic expect a six month delivery. Not sure if I will get them at all. Just want straight answers.

littered with shreds and flecks and the chairs are basically useless.
Not happy. Wrote to Adriatic. Still have bill of sale. 180 per chair 1440.00 IN 2009 is not cheap and they are all basically garbage. We have loads of real leather furniture in our home and vehicles - no other leather item in our possession looks like this.
Update: Adriatic contacted us and said that we got what we ordered - the order form does say Bycast Leather however we were told when we asked that the chairs were Genuine Leather and the tag on the bottom of all 8 chairs says Genuine Leather and they sold us Leather cleaner on the day of ordering. I have never heard of “bycast leather” and had to google it recently. When we ordered these chairs we likely thought Bycast was the product name. The problem remains that the tags indicate Genuine Leather which is what 180.00/chair was meant to be. No resolution and Adriatic really didn’t care other than to point out we got what we paid for. 8 chairs barely used now garbage.
A nightmare experience post purchase – Purchase products worth $7000 including couch/cofffe table /4 seated dining . At the time of purchase the gentleman was the sweetest person you can think off and happily paid 50% of the total amount with a wait time of 3 months for delivery. Called them and asked and was informed it’s further delayed. Kept calling to inquire and got same response everytime. Frustrated I thought of cancelling and the tone of the staff changed and all of a sudden the sweetest person turned out to be the worst person u can think off. After 5 months of wait, got them delivered however the staff refused to deliver it on the third floor stating they can’t do it. Reached out to company and kept getting a run around. They just dumped the product in my garage and never got back to me. A bunch of crooks and the most unprofessional people I ever dealt with.

Excellent Service – In terms of customer service, I can't fault Adriatic. I have been to 3 different locations and they have all been patient, helpful and extremely accommodating. Terrible customer service experience – Staff at Highpoint store were great, customer service in head office are another story. motion, possibly during transport. Call customer service who told me to email them. I did so and we arranged a new glass. The new glass was worse than the one I had. I told young delivery guys to take it back and to check the next glass before they come back. Days later I get a call offering me a full refund as all the glass they had was marked. I asked for a partial refund telling them I would get it polished out. To cut a long story short with many emails back and forth the are trying to convince me that through their assessment (they have not seen it) there is no fault or damage that is how the glass is manufactured. Ha ha. They are hoping I take the refund and will continue selling a defective product. I went back to the Highpoint store to check the floor stock and the glass was perfect. I suggested they deliver me the floor stock and take mine and they refuse. Threatening that if I don’t agree for them to pick up the table and accept the refund that I'm accepting the table as is!!! Unethical business and steal your money – This business is not ethical and they could steal your money because their salesperson did not tell about terms and condition if you don't lodge a complaint with consumer affairs, vcat and channel 9 or court. I would not trust Adriatic furniture for any new furniture needs – I bought a 6k custom leather sofa from Adriatic Furniture on the beginning of May (paid 30% deposit) with the expectation of receiving it between late August and early September. Since then every two weeks I receive a different information from their team. In August, September and October I've got messages saying the sofa would delay around 25… Read more

From Late October I already heard from them:
1) The sofa was in the ship on the way. 2) The sofa was still back in Malaysia 3) The sofa had a ship name on file and now was really coming (feedback from Franc on the phone around a month ago) 4) The sofa had already arrived in the Melbourne and was just being release from customs (feedback from April two weeks ago) 5) In the last two weeks Laura called me twice saying the sofa actually hasn't left Malaysia so far and that "they were waiting the right opportunity" to be able to ship it, and on the last call tried to get away from the order by offering a refund - which sincerely in my opinion is terrible.
I spent a lot of time deciding on the sofa and waiting - now because apparently shipping is more experience, they are trying to get rid of their commitments.
I have a close friend that works with container shipping scheduling, which assured me containers are flowing in both ways between Asia and Australia - just at a way higher cost, which will probably not change in the near future. I confess I even offered them to pay more to overcome any surcharge in shipping fees.
But overall their handling of the situation is terrible.
I have friends that bought some nice furniture from them in the past, but what is the point of seeing something nice in the showroom if you won't receive it in the end?
At this point in time I cannot recommend Adriatic to anyone - and would think twice in putting an order there.

from being really excited about receiving these products, this post is about sharing my experience of the service I received on that day that deserves some acknowledgment. We were assisted by Shaun who provided us with exemplary, authentic, and professional service. He presented as honest and was willing to listen and take his time to support us in purchasing products to suits our needs. If you’re after a store that seems to care about delivering a positive shopping experience then I suggest you consider going to see Shaun or someone else at Adriatic. Their store is well set out, with a range of great products. Please note I do not write reviews for the sake of writing them, especially if I have had a dissatisfying retail experience. I don’t think this is the platform to provide that feedback, however I’m happy to share a positive experience to assist customers who might value the same service and value for quality products, whilst supporting a business that deserves some recognition too. By the way the delicious Nespresso coffee on the day was a treat too. We are looking forward to receiving our goods.
