On August 20th, I visited Adriatic’s winter sale, which was advertised online as being in its final days. (weeks later and even today), I checked the website again and noticed that the same item is still listed at $3,699, with the original price of $6,230 crossed out. This suggests the discounted price wasn’t a limited-time offer at all—it appears to be the regular selling price.

I find this incredibly misleading. It gives the impression of urgency and savings when, in reality, the item was never sold at full price. I feel deceived by Adriatic’s pricing tactics and genuinely disappointed by the experience.

This is what retail service should be like everywhere – Anthony was exceptional and made us feel extremely welcome. Very knowledgeable across a great product range and more than willing to spend as much time with us as needed.

TV unit – Excellent customer service from Marilena at the Preston Store. Patiently showed me around the showroom and had great knowledge of all the tv units on offer and the differences in types of wood. Kindly arranged very quick delivery for me which was much appreciated. Would recommend!

Unrealistic delivery times and only focus on sales – We purchased our furniture Sep 8th with the urgent sales team telling us to order that weekend as it was the "last weekend" for orders before Christmas. All seemed well as they said delivery is normal 12-16 weeks for custom orders, which meant prior to Christmas was 16 weeks and I the sales pitch was "order this weekend for Christmas deliveries" November started to get nervous and chase up orders to which it was delivery in next week and soon delivered. It's now Jan 8th and still no sign of the shipment or delivery. Not only did they ruin our Christmas as we had to change from our house since we have no furniture, but no one really knows what is going on. Text message received Nov 22 said 21 days. Still nothing. Spoke with the manager at Preston who said, should have read the terms and conditions as all delivery times are "estimates". Which is very disappointment as most terms and conditions will make sure you don't guarantee anything. Luckily we didn't buy our bed from them as well as we would be sleeping on the floor for past 4 months. We purchased 1 bed and another sofa from another store with 12 weeks timelines and delivery before considering our situation. Very disappointing process and would not recommend purchasing from them especially if you need something in a certain time Frame.

Appalling Service – Absolutely appalling customer service. Bought a sofa bed to use when my elderly father visits from overses, but we could never use it as a sofabed. Can not escalate this further as no one wants to deal with this issue - too hard basket. No one responds to my emails and they don't want to speak to me over the phone!

Great experience – I recently purchased a couch from Anthony at the Preston store and had a great experience. Excellent customer service and honest advice about which couch would be right for me. He was very patient and friendly. Honestly everyone that worked there was really nice (I went there a few times before I made a decision!). Really happy with my purchase.

Poor sales service and lack of integrity – The sales team promised that they will take the empty boxes but the delivery driver denied and said not part of the service. Couch – Please do yourself a favour and do not buy a couch from Adriatic. The staff are lovely but the after sales is terrible! We fought with Adriatic for 6 months as there were so many issues with the couch. We have now given up! Show details

Shopping experience at Adriatic Furniture Preston – Yesterday we had a delightful experience shopping at Adriatic Preston. We were lucky enough to be served by a fabulous salesman who was polite and friendly but not at all pushy. He answered any questions we asked, was extremely helpful and courteous.
