ALDI Belavi 3m Square Cantilever Umbrella Questions & Answers
VerifiedMPN: 706399My ALDI Belavi 3m Square Cantilever Umbrella just broke. I've had it for about 18 months. How long is the warranty for this product please?
Not sure what the warranty for the umbrella is but Aldi are normally very good about standing behind what they sell. I would approach the Aldi and see what they could d9 for you. How did it break and was it the result of a strong wind!? Good luck!
Yep. Strong wind :(
Hi, Just wondering if Aldi sells the weights for this particular outdoor umbrella. Thank you
Aldi don't sell weights for this. I purchased weights separately from Bunnings.
Where do I get the appropriate base weight!
Where can I buy base weights for Belavi umbrella model 706399.?
Amazon
Where can I obtain a base for the belavi umbrella model 23680-22?
Do you still have 3M umbrella
No took it back missing parts and no stand
My umbrella blew over in a freak storm and the pivot part at the top of the inside of the umbrella, where the rope comes through, has broken and cannot be welded. How do I get a replacement part?
Aldi customer service: 13 25 34. Just Google it.
Can you tell me the measurements for base please?
From my review... "Bunnings have the Coolaroo 50cm Umbrella Accessory Cantilever Water Base" - external link
To those wondering where to buy weights for this item, see my review or type "cantilever umbrella weights" into Google. One of the first answers will of course be Bunnings, who have the Coolaroo 50cm Umbrella Accessory Cantilever Water Base which works just fine.
Do these base weights from Bunnings affect the ability to push the pedal when changing the angle of the umbrella? I bought IKEA ones and now need to return as they won’t fit on the side with the pedal. Thanks
Not at all. The weights are only about 5cm thick and sit between the cross pieces, they work just as well as the ones in the ALDI photo. The IKEA ones are almost twice as thick, I can see how they would stop the pedal.

See my previous answer.
Can I bolt the centre support directly to concrete and not use the base provided
In theory I would say, possibly yes. HOWEVER, the four bolts which attach the base to the cross pieces are only about 10cm apart which means you're going to be applying enormous torsion stresses on a very small area of concrete. Unless that concrete is very well cured and probably 40+ newton grade I would say the first strong wind will rip the bolts out and/or shatter the concrete. You really would need some form of anchor plate to spread the load much wider.
I would not expect it to be successful, long term, so realistically I have to say no, don't do it.
