ALDI Expressi Coffee Capsule Machine EXP-19CCMB

Used this machine for 8 months only, before malfunctioning. Water coming out under machine itself, very dangerous. Water and contact with electricity is a recipe for disaster. DO NOT BUY!!!

Pods always leaking coffee grains into cup, machine doesn’t eject pods properly I have to put my fingers in, leaks, noisy, water tank needs refilling ever 1.5 coffees. Lately, the Abruzzo 12 pods need to be pierced to allow air out as they are bloated and do not drop in the receptor. Once gently pierced, they are ok, shouldn't need to work out the science on these items, as some folk won't work it out. Show details

Absolute piece of garbage. Pods jam, or dont work at all. Leaks onto the bench. The machine is basiacally unusable. They shouldnt be allowed to get away with having them on the shelf for sale to the public. my new one but this latest model is absolute rubbish - for all the reasons outlined by everyone else - and no longer works. The only reason I began shopping at Aldi was to buy their coffee pods. I'll be buying another brand of coffee machine and won't be shopping at Aldi again.

filling up - where another problem lies where you have to fit the container into a hook; and that's a pain in the neck.

The holder for the cups is loose which is annoying.

After pretty well using a complete box of Italian Blend (11 strength) we cottoned onto the fact that it's the capsules causing the problem as water was going into the used capsule container instead of the cup.

With the previous machine I could set up for the maximum amount of coffee in the cup. This time after at least half a dozen times trying to get the coffee to fill the cup to the brim (using the instructions: I'm not daft) I just gave up and have to press the button twice.

Stupidly I threw the previous workable machine away before I checked this rubbish out. The truck took it away the same day before I could charge out and retrieve it. Rats.

So now I'm going to have to get a refund: which of course is no problem with Aldi: but there's no point buying another one as they're rubbish: so I'll have to buy something else and leave myself with six boxes of unused capsules. Double rats.

I understand the need to keep products affordable, but if this trend of reducing quality continues, Aldi may find that customers begin looking elsewhere for their coffee solutions. This could have a flow-on effect, not only on coffee machine sales but also on the ongoing sale of coffee pods, as customers who invest in alternative espresso systems are likely to purchase their pods and accessories from other suppliers as well.

I have generally been a loyal Aldi customer and have enjoyed the convenience of the coffee pod system, which is why this feedback is disappointing to provide. I hope Aldi takes customer feedback seriously and focuses on improving the quality and durability of future coffee machine models.

The machine leaks around the pod with every cup creating a pool of coffee water to be cleaned up under the machine, often filling the capsule container and not a drop in the cup. It is noisy and vibrates. Show details

This is the worst incarnation of the expressi machines. It takes a ridiculous amount of time to warm up, pods jam inside it 9 times out of 10, the idea of making things smaller & more compact means you have to empty the bin after only a hand full off pods, which in a coffee loving family is just annoying. runaround! I was asked what capsules I had been using and even asked to send photos of the boxes and used capsules It was pretty apparent to me that Aldi warranties are worth no more than chewing gum on the footpath Until they stopped working they made good coffee but bear in mind they are temporary so don't stock up on capsules

What a disappointment. Older square machine lasted for year each time and no real issues. This one is terrible. Noisy, pods get stuck all the time and only holds a few. When it dies, as it sounds like it will. I will change brands. Goodbye Aldi, your not the only value show in town. Show details

Old square version was great but had to replace it after 10 years of constant use. New ALDI expressi machine is complete and utter garbage. This is my third aldi expressi machine. It is the worst! Pods fall through before use, it leaks, the used pods area fills up too quickly and I'm considering paying for a different pod machine all together after having one in my kitchen for 11 years.
