Despite reporting these defects, still not been rectified. It now appears I will have to pursue formal action to get the issues addressed. make you pay more or accept lower standards than what was discussed earlier. The inclusions, timelines, and “quality” you were sold on start to shift, and you’re left constantly chasing updates or explanations.

What started as an exciting process becomes draining — both financially and mentally. It really does feel like a bait-and-switch experience: charm at the start, pressure and frustration after you commit.

If you’re considering building with a large NSW project builder, get everything in writing before paying anything, and have an independent inspector from day one. Don’t rely on verbal promises, no matter how convincing they sound.

We have been living in our Palace Regent 20 for about 8 months and love our new home. very good. We think that was largely because they are good builders and we had excellent supervisors. First we had Darren who was brilliant and then we had John (as Darren was promoted- both did a great job). My husband is in construction so is very particular and kept a close eye on the build and he was impressed with the workmanship. We have recommended Allcastle to my brother and our friends who are building and are also very happy. The head office staff were also very helpful, Marina, Julie with our colours and Lisa helped us with our plans and approvals. All of the staff we dealt with gave us really good service. We will be looking to build again with them next year for an investment property we have.

Post construction – We signed into a contract with Allcastle Homes on 22nd April 2022 for GOSFORD DUPLEX. We did it as we had a very good experience with them previously. assisted us electricity and colour selection. There is lack of communications with our liaison officer but later Donna has been exceptionally helpful during our prolonged construction process. Things are getting more difficult when we close to the completion of the construction. Since it is a Duplex, there are two identical homes. Our Builder supervisor was in a hurry to let us signed the handover matters (bathroom tiles has been mismatched with colour ---we finally gave up as they allegedly replaced but it still looked the same). We have to call many times to request to have the final clean ups (many glues on the floors). We have to sign the 2nd Duplex without inspect them) on 19 Feb, 2024. The power, aircon, water on the 2nd Duplex right now is still not connected. However, the problem reporting list starts from 19 Feb 24 for 90 days only. All Castle homes hold most of the relevant documents for subdivision with their connected Surveyor. We have been calling All Castle Homes and the Surveyors backwards and forwards a number of times for the relevant documentations for subdivision. The answer from them are always to call the other party. It is a complete diester! Will not come back again. Now is almost 90 days of reporting faults, my 2nd duplex is still no power, no water and no where near to move in.

We are building the Elmsworth Duplex and our experience so far has been very good. Our building approval was difficult as we had some trees to remove but the pre construction team were very helpful with getting this sorted. BAD COMMUNICATION & COMPREHESION SKILLS IN CLIENT NEEDS, @FINGER POINTING – 2 stars for some of their staffs listening skills confusng measurment given in cm, eg.1040cm but giving me 1040mm in hieght.. the cutomer is blamed for the error because I a 75 years old did not pick this up in the variations and I had had signed it. machine, What more than annoyed me was they implied in a tone that they were doing me a favor in correcting this error...as if Allcastle employees don't make error....although when I had inspected they had allready left the rinforcements out completely the builder had No informatin on this extra. ..Later on depending on how my other problem is delt with I'll contiue my little story of A SLIDING DOOR Size that I required and did not get They stll have time to correct this with out any problems,if it doesn't get fixed I'll just have it ripped out after the key is handed over put a door in THAT I CAN HAVE EASY WHEEL CHAIR ACCESS..in the down stairs bedroom

were at a very early exploratory stage, I appreciate that Daryl still took his time out to discuss and answer my hundreds of questions including transparency with all upgrades and variations. - Knowledgeable: It is a skill to know and understand what your customer is after without them even articulating it (or being aware of it themselves!). Daryl knows the Allcastle home designs inside out and was able to read into what we really needed for a functional home that suited us best. - Not Pushy & Prompt: I also appreciated Daryl keeping in touch with us while we decided which path we were going to take. Complete Home – We recently purchased a complete new home with  Roger Grant in Leppington and couldn’t be happier. We got a brand new home, 6 bedroom, 3 bathrooms and everything was done for us.  We sold our house and moved straight in.
