Pavel came to service my Miele washing machine this morning - what a lovely gentleman - polite, clear communication, left no mess, got the job done with minimal fuss. Using Alpha Appliance Repairs has been a dream - easy to book online, regular and clear communication from date of booking to reminders and notice on approach, easy billing at your home after job is done. Worth every penny and saved me from having to buy a new machine.

technician to recharge the refrigerant gas. They promptly send a person who arrived at my property at 8:54 am on 8/1/26. The first thing I noticed is that the person did not have with him any tools or parts, not even a screwdriver to remove the internal panels to enable him to check the internals of the freezer. I thought to myself: This guy must have superpowers, like high-power X-ray vision, to check the freezer without opening it. That guy (I wouldn't call him a technician) walked around the freezer for exactly 5 minutes then told me that could not repair the freezer. He left at 9:11 am that morning. Total time spent, including lots of chat, was 17 minutes. For this con job, I was charged A$189.87. When I complained to the company they replied that that was the cost of the expert advice of their so-called expert technician … what a scam it was.

Friendly, professional and on time! – Our LG washer/dryer was in need of urgent repair, less than 48 hours later Douglas from Alpha Appliance Repairs had it fixed and running as though it was brand new! He rang ahead to let me know that he was on his way and arrived exactly on time. He was happy to answer my questions while he worked and explained what had happened so we could avoid future problems. Overall, I am so happy with the quality of the work and the fantastic service!
Incompetent Trade person An English ascent speaking Trade person turned up with no notification from Apha Appliance that a tradie it booked for the said day. dishwasher and message E 4 means. After his research, he did something and said the Drain Hose Small Rubber Elbow was cracked so caused the Error E4. He pushed the dishwasher back underneath the bench. He left a lot of loose screws. After he left, I used the kitchen sink and water flowing out from underneath the dishwashing ( the machine was not operation for more than a month & never leak water). I called their call centre and told he what happened. Instead i was told it was another issue as per the useless tradie, which i said he has done something that caused the leak as the machine was never leaking since error message E4. I called another plumber who told me that Alpha plumber must has broken the pipe and taught me over the phone how to stop the leak. I got another appliance repairer (confirmed that plumber who helped on the phone was right) the next day and he showed me the broken pipe and said damage was caused by the useless tradie from Alpha Appliances trader , hence caused the leak! Have some decency, If you don't even know the dish washer, don' t take the job to collect call out fee of $189.87. Try to collect another fee to rectify his error?? ! Shame of you, dishonest tradie!

Emails were answered almost instantly, they arrived exactly when they said they would, my Asko washer was fixed and they sent me a quote for a future possible replacement part should I need it - but they didn’t just replace it and charge me more. Excellent service – Douglas was efficient- msg before arrival & worked the problem out quickly on our Bosch cooktop , made us aware of problem & cost . This is the second time we have had Douglas & very happy with the service he gave us .

received a quote elsewhere of $100 less for the same part and service for the next day. I was very disappointed with the administrative/booking process and will not use this firm again due to the lack of communication.
Not worth it - go somewhere else – I contacted them first on the 15th of January. Only got an invoice on the 21st when they ordered a part based on what I told them and videos I sent (very clear issues in the video). 29th (Wednesday) to change the seal. We were told after a test it was perfectly fine and it could be used immediately. Almost $400 later and it did not work from the first use. Called back and they organised a visit in 2 days (Friday). All organised and my partner stayed home but they did not show up - claimed called no one picked up so did not bother to show up. They tried to organise again for Wednesday (which is 2 days from today) - a total joke. Decided to try to fix myself, after 5 minutes YouTube video I diagnosed the problem, in less than 24h I had the part and fixed it myself. In conclusion, don't waste your time and money.
Excessive pricing – Do not use this service. They charge $190 call out fee and leave. They then send another invoice for another visit to install the one light bulb I already told them needed replacement. Full quote to change an oven light is just under $500. Doesn’t seem like a business that wants repeat business.

Just had a man named Ron come and check my washing machine. He knew in 1 second what was wrong. I had to buy a new machine wasn't worth getting fixed he said. He got me online immediately we got a new machine in 2 minutes He reminded me it was free delivery and coming overnight. We did this together on.my.mobile. what a comfort and excellent service I had. Courteous and efficient service – Our washing machine had stopped working. Booked a service on Sunday. Luiz came out on Tuesday. Despite a couple of attempts in between to test it before he got there, nothing worked. When Luiz turned it on the machine had somehow managed to fix itself. Luiz still took the time to pull it apart and see what the issue may have been (found evidence of water around the circuit board), cleaned the filters etc. Very polite and efficient.

No value at all – The technician who came to visit did not do anything at all. He was suppose to do maintenance for the fridge and fix the problem with the Ice dispensor. Instead, he just beat around the bush and charged $188 for the visit.

technician hadn't advised which part was needed yet. I said he told me on the initial visit nearly two weeks prior. I asked for someone to call be back to discuss - nobody dd. I received an email two days later with 'apologies for the delay' and no explanation, plus a quote for the work still to be done. They couldn't have been more emphatic telling me that they would not be proceeding with ANY work until they had my approval. When I pushed for more information, I was advised the delay was because they had trouble seeing which part to order from the Miele website. I sent my approval by return email an received nothing back. I had to ask for confirmation they had received it. Given it appeared they had lost the original request, I find it extraordinary that they didn't bother to confirm they had my approval - you know, try and regain my trust - until I asked. Why is everything one way with businesses these days??
Great Same Day Service – Washing machine had stopped working, Ron attended the Job from Alpha. He was courteous and professional and was able to have the machine repaired within 30 minutes!!. Would recommend this company to anyone.
Great service – Alpha Appliances always responds quickly…orders the parts immediately & fits in a return service call as soon as possible. Customer service amazing – Had a faulty dishwasher, tried another local company who took my money but didnt fix the problem. Luiz the technician was very knowledgeable, and careful when it came to removing dishwasher and fixing the problem. Would recommend this company 100%. Dont waste your time on other cheaper companies.
Misleading website – Website says “Sydney wide repairs”, I submitted a request and got an email with (word for word) “Outside our service area Best to call Miele Customer Service 1300464640”. Nothing else. Misleading website and poor communication/customer service
Saved me buying a whole new oven! – Fast, efficient service with a great result. I am thrilled. The engineer even went to the extra effort to take apart my oven door so I could clean it, and he tightened a screw on the door handle. Brilliant.
