which is very noticeable. Contacted warranty claim department who will not replace the table. They offered a minor (insulting) amount of money as compensation but I explained this does not fix the issue. Will never buy an AMart product again.

Bad experience – The customer service is good but I had a very bad experience with the delivery staff not organized lazy and useless that it cost me a big delay with the delivery I haven't been receiving the support from the Ammart manager that makes me so upset and confused so I ended up with a non delivery at the right time .and still waiting for a response about my delivery to be set up.

No warranty as they try to convince you – My product was un warranty for 3 year I haven't use it for 2 years the product developed fault that was under warranty but they didn't cover even no on came to have a look! Don't believe Amart for false warranty information.

La Salle dining suite – I purchased the La Salle extension table, 5 chairs, a bench seat and a buffet. After my bedroom suite I expected this purchase to be perfect. Regretably the table developed a crack in it. Between head office and the Bankstown store a happy outcome was made. I love this setting, it is solid and looks good. writing from my doctor in my pocket. His response was not only discriminatory but was completely illegal. He then asked me to leave the store, so I left immediately and reported the Bankstown store to fair trading.

When being treated like an inferior being, what [Name Removed] has to realise is that he can not simply make up his own rules & laws. I was abiding by the law & health directives with being equipped with a lawful medical exemption. I was playing by the rules &[Name Removed] was not. He was ridding on a false sense of empowerment which through my experiences, have led many ordinary citizens to somehow believe that they have some level of authority over other individual beings, during this health crisis. This behaviour is now addressed & needs to stop.

a Queen Mattress photos of the defect below PHOTO No 1 is the 1st defect as seen mattress still in its original packaging PHOTO No 2 finally took the mattress out of its original packaging to my DISAPPOINTMENT found this 2nd DEFECT) then according to [Name Removed] a Customer Care Representative this defect was self conflicted. Why would I cause this defect I have BETTER things to do WITH my life THEN to CAUSE THIS DEFECT. But apparently I cause it so my claim for refund was denied. Poor products and extremely poor customer service when a warranty claim is made – Purchased dining chairs from the Amart Signature collection. Chairs are only 6 months old and have a 15 year guarantee. Unfortunately one already has a tear in it due to bad manufacturing methods. support an average persons body weight, On sitting on the chairs all you can feel is the timber front rail support digging into your hamstrings. A warranty claim has been lodge as requested and all information and photos where provided. Despite this Amart is making me provide more photos and have yet to address the problem at hand, It would appear they will do whatever possible to make it difficult to honor a warranty claim. At $349 a chair the quality of the product is lacking and the customer service for warranty claims is extremely frustrating. This is the last time I will will purchase from Amart and in future will deter people from purchasing from Amart due to the difficulty in processing a warranty claim. Get your furniture elsewhere.

table has missing screws in the legs, dining chairs are wobbly. About the chair , their solution to fix the chair is, lossen the bolts, sits on the chair, tighten the bolts until you are satisfied (??) this is not in the instruction, and is very difficult sitting on it while fixing

my buffet table has a missing part, they asked me to take pictures and stuff to get it replaced. the Replacement also has exact same issue. it takes them ages to respond to email and replace furniture. and you have to taking it apart and assemble the unit again. This is such a joke.

most of the furniture i bought has some faults with it. at this point i am so tired chasing up on them and i think they want me to give up on getting my furniture.

Salesman guaranteed furniture will be delivered upstairs, but is not. Delivery say they will not bring upstairs

Amart is one of the mistake in my life.

The money was not given to me, the signature on the refund paper they showed me was not my signature nor looked anything like it. I was told they will do an internal investigation which they then came back to me with oh sorry too bad basically we gave your money to someone not our problem. I have since been to Bankstown police station and created an event also completed a fraud form even though I do not believe this is fraud. Bankstown stuffed up and didnt follow proper processes and procedures I paid cash and card regardless of the amounts the money should have been returned in the way it was paid, this did not happen, had it of happened they would have flagged it was being paid to the wrong person. They did not do proper checks and did not follow proper process instead refunded my hard earned money to the sum of $3000 plus

The worst leather couches! – We purchased two couches that are 100% leather just over a year ago. They look like they have been used for over 5 years. Dye from clothing transfers unto them (apparently you cant wear jeans) and they are super creased and discoloured in such a short period of time. Will never purchase anything from Amart ever again. They love you when youre at the store once youre out and finished purchasing you are no longer a priority to them. Show details

Rubbish!!! Spend your money elsewhere! – Lounges both squeaked 3rd day after purchasing. Have had technician out 5 times only to make the issue worse! Not happy continuously told nonsense – So we got over $5tho worth of La Fran furniture, and a bedroom setting and single bed, Ordered in March- delivery was end of June as wasn’t even in Australia. crooked and did not close along w the backing was not on.

- buffet drawers not aligned and resulted in drawers not being able to be close they just come straight back out.

- lamp table had a chip from the tables corner.

- desk missing all the bolt kit

- single bed missing bolts and slat stabelisers

-3 chairs had cracks in base (still not replaced to this day.

The buffet, Talboy and entertainment unit were replaced, no bolt kit could be supplied (I got myself from Bunnings). This wasn’t until End of August tho.

Now today I have discovered all of our 8 dining chairs have cracks through the base of the chair (clearly a quality issue with this product).

I will never buy from super amart again.

Disrespectful and no respect for the customer

October 27th 2018 Update: Cracks and not even 4m old

Where do I start we purchased a large sum of la Fran furniture from Bankstown I’ve emailed them god knows how many times and no reply.

Out table legs are cracking and out of our 8 dining chairs all have cracks on base and some have not even been used.

A lot of the la Fran turned up in appalling condition the tall boy not all drawers could come out buffet backing and support leg not in tact the entertainment unit backing not in tact drawers not able to all close as were not straight.

I still haven’t received an email after last Wednesday’s reply saying someone would be in contact within 48hrs so I have emailed again.

This is apauling what I thought was the better of the smarts in sydney has turned out to be the worst as yet.

My first time and last time with AMART. This is Australia, I never had this problem with Plush, Harvey Norman, Myers, any other company, I don't think we need to ask the sales person to write this down on the docket, by the way, received one on email, be aware!!!!

But when i checked at home, one of the cushion's pattern was different from the other I received. I called the store again and they said unfortunately it cannot be changed as the tag was taken out by us.

Partly it is our fault coz we didnot check it beforw we took the tag off. But how come they do such a mistake? Not satisfied with the team.

even though we had the invoice as proof. After a lot of debating, he did not apologize for his mistake nor would waive this small difference, even though we had just spent $4000 in the store! He became very loud, rude & arrogant towards my wife & I. He caused such a scene in front of a busy Sunday morning crowd, that it was embarrassing. We will not be returning back to this store in a hurry. Word of advice - put your customers first and your ego aside.

I had a chat with manager [name removed] and he was not that cooperative. I said how come you expect us to come back and buy product from Amart again when we see price drops so quick and he replied then don't come and don't buy.

He was ignoring us and didn't want to understand our situation on the loss. I thought Amart is so keen to the customer satisfaction and they value their customer.

But [name removed] he was not cooperative at all. When I said I'll take it further to upper management with complaint, he replied ok we can come to the middle, I can give you $100 store credit. I didn't want to argue with him because he was not nice in chatting. And he said wherever you complaint my reply will same. I'll take the decision.

My question is how would you feel if price drops so much after buying something.

Moreover I found that there is clause that I can get refund by returning product just because of change of mind within 30 days.

I am being honest I don't wanna return it but I want my difference back, it makes me feel upset, I went to Amart today to buy something for my new home but the situation didn't let me buy.

I hope Amart values their customer and will make me happy to come and shop again. And I believe for this $200 I don't have to go to fair trading or Ombudsman and Amart doesn't want to lose customers. Looking forward to Amart's reply.

On the other hand I'll post my experience in facebooks group of different nationalities and definitely Amart will lose customers.

After sales service is very important. Business is not for a day or a month or only for a year. It's for long time if customer satisfaction matters.

three items of the lounge suite as three separate items. We also paid $80 to have it delivered, when it arrived it was in pieces and wrapped in a mountain of plastic. They dumped all the pieces on the lounge room floor and said we don't unpack and assemble sign here. Do not deal with these people. If we have these issues at the beginning of the purchase what is going to happen if we have an issue with the product.
