Terrible 1st time experience with Amart
1. Ordered one chair. (10 Oct 2019). Advised not in stock - about 4 weeks. Paid up front.
2. 5 weeks pass and advised will be mid Dec 2019.(8 weeks+)
3. Received txt message last week now in stock - please pickup./Advised promptly when i'd pickup.
4. Went in to pickup yesterday. Their systems are down. Apparently cant supply without the system up. Eventually sent around to warehouse to pick it up.
5. Get it home, terrible quality. Screws for legs are not long enough. Fittings of legs falling apart. Very cheap chinese quality evident, poor weld....

Superb Service - really outstanding
After 19 months, an electrical problem occurred on our Electrical Recliners. I called and the service was amazing - super polite, friendly, competent and to the point! In no time, the lady concerned located our purchase record, assured us we are covered under warranty and sent us a link to fill a claim form online. A technician will attend our home to fix the problem very soon. It was a pleasure dealing with support at AMART.
Misleading in regards of return policy
I have purchased a table furniture few weeks ago. However , staff from the Caringbah store has not cooperate for the exchange and misleading the return policy. However, there is a 30 day return policy in regards of change of mind. But, she refused to exchange a table. It is waste to me.
SmartCare pakeage dosnt work!
When shopping for couches earlier this year, I had the keep to dark colors because my kids and babies r young and cause a lot of staining. Especially milk from their bottles.
When I when into amart, I explained to the sales consultant what i needed and he started to explain to me about the “smart care” package. He told me his cleaning package can clean anything and if it dosnt they will come out and professionally clean the couches for me for up to 5 years.

Don’t ever buy furniture from this place. Their service is disgusting. You get furniture in a. Box then the box does not fit through door. They don’t tell you any of this. Also they don’t tell you that you assemble it. I really don’t trust the furniture as my sons fell apart. They work their delivery drivers contracted to the bone. Never again!

Wrong address delivery and they didn't even care to fix it - I had to pay for private delivery again
The worst place to buy is Amart Carringbah- they send items to wrong address and don't care to redeliver - I had to use a private delivery after paying them $90 for delivery to wrong address -made by their staff.
Very disappointed, don't waist your time and money
Purchased a Queen bedroom suite to find most of it was damaged . After spending a few thousand dollars I was told I would have to wait. The night before replacement was to be delivered they left a message to say it was also damaged..... what a joke! I then asked for all the items to be checked before leaving store. The next delivery had arrived, yes it had been checked ,green stickers all over the box even with a signature on every one. Opened box to find it was damaged. The item had not been pulled out of the box at all for checking . So it we...nt straight back on that truck . A few more heated phone calls even to head office , QLD, where they said I would receive a call from the supervisor. Still waiting. They have no respect for customers once they take your money that's it , see you later. If next delivery is damaged a full CASH REFUND will be given as agreed . Let's see if they stick to the policies. Don't waist your money or time
Worst customer service I've ever recieved
We were in store with my elderly mum who had decided on a recliner and 2 corner tables shop assistant says time for my coffee break have to go. Leaves us standing there 10 min later still not being looked after 20 min and a lady comes helps us as we were sorting out what we wanted with the 2nd assistant which we had done already with the 1st one. When 1st assistant comes back and says so where were we up to ...Told him to go away paid for the furniture pick it up come home to discover over charged by $90 and also we think we have been given wrong recliner never ever will we shop at super amart again. Have to go back to store tomorrow what a joke.

8 chairs not in stock and not delivered yet, that is alright. This could happen anywhere.
Lamp table, not delivered. Truck driver asked them to deliver it ASAP. No one BOTHERED to read what he wrote on THEIR copy of the docket and they forgot about it.
Now the fun begins, I went and they were dismissive and couldn't care less. That's exactly what is mentioned in most of the reviews on this website.
My wife went to speak to...the lady there, she stated "This is not his hand writing " basically accusing my wife of "forging" the driver's statement. It was finally delivered but this was too late as they had lost us as customers.
We had a horrible customer service from Super Amart Caringbah. The floor staff was a young man who was very condescending and unhelpful. It was my first time going there, but never again after the experience! I'd rather go to Fantastic Furniture in the future. A note to the management: train your staff some niceties, it will go a long the way!

I ordered a Matrix 2 seater and a 3 seater chaise. I picked these up a couple of days prior to Xmas, I asked the gentleman at the warehouse was this all and he replied yes I could not tell because the lounges are wrapped in plastic and cardboard. After driving home from Caringbah to the south coast I realised I was given a 2 seater and a three seater no chaise. I rang the store and was offered a discount and 2 free ottomans next time I was in Caringbah. The $20 ottomans I was offered you would not put in a dogs kennel. Every time I sit on the l...ounge I still get frustrated. Super Amart Caringbah (Jonathon) contacted me and was very keen to resolve the issue and keep the customer happy. They agreed to replace the 3 seater with the 3 seater chaise. I have exchanged the lounges and it looks great. Thank you!
Received a faulty product and it takes ages to solve the problems
I purchased an entertainment unit from Caringbah store which is faulty, the drawer can't be closed properly and the wood itself is badly shaped.I contacted their store, sent through a photo, waited for two days just to get a response they will send someone to come in to assess!? which means I need to take time off from work again to stay at home to wait for someone to come in to assess??? then whats the point of me waiting for 2 days to just get someone for assessment? Can't you send someone right away? Im leaving Sydney for holiday very soon a...nd I dont see this problem solved anytime soon before I leave. Now everything is just lying on my living room in a mess...This is a nightmare. They should just send a replacement one ASAP not trying to repair it since I paid for a new and perfect piece?!! Will avoid this store from now on...
Very unhappy with service
I went to Taren Point store yesterday to have a look around at the products? There were approx 6 staff members all talking behind the counter and not one of them come near us until we had been through the bedding section then dining got to lounges then after five minutes of sitting on the lounge a salesman finally come over and asked if we were right, we started discussing the lounges then he went to the computer and just stayed there . I found him to be ignorant and not helpful at all . Obviously the staff aren't getting paid on commission cause they don't want to help or sell you anything.
So that will be my first and last time of going to the store
Early delivery required
Ordered a 7 piece Settle dining setting on the weekend only to find out that delivery now wasn't available until end of August Earlier told mid August. Have O/S guest early September so really hoping it will arrive in time. Don't know if there is anyway to try and get earlier delivery. I'm also feeling pretty nervous re quality after easing all these reviews. I'm hoping that quality will be the same as display in store.
Questions & Answers
We have just bought a bedroom suite and it does emit a very strong odour. Since we have had it my partner has had severe headaches, nausea and stomach cramps and I have had milder headaches. It is to the point where we have to sleep in another room. Can you please let me know, what are the chemicals we are smelling and what can be done about it?
