Product Purchase: A 4-seater black faux theatre lounge 5 year-warranty. 2. Product Quality Concerns: o The lounge showed significant deterioration despite minimal use, which is unexpected, and since I called A Mart the lounge has continued to deteriorate with no use at all since my husband passed away. o When I noticed the deterioration I called a specialist whose report reinforced that the quality did not align with reasonable expectations for durability. 3. Warranty and Compassion: o While the warranty had expired, the lack of flexibility or understanding from the company—especially under my circumstances being that my husband passed away just before I called A-Mart —is troubling. o As a consumer I expected some goodwill gestures or consideration, especially when dealing with extenuating circumstances. 4. in the warehouse and to pick it up after paying the invoice. They agreed to free delivery due to huge delay and poor service in the meantime. We paid the invoice, called to arrange delivery. The sales person said they couldn’t find the lounge and they don’t know why we were told it is in the “warehouse” for collection. Said they would “call back”. No call back. Next day we called again, sales rep was having lunch and supervisor was busy with a customer. Every day this week apparently. Todays update, there is a lounge in the warehouse for delivery to our suburb but there is no name on it so they don’t know whose order it is and they won’t honour free delivery. Honestly, stay away. It’s nothing but stress and time wasting. They over promise, do not take calls or keep you updated. However, they are very quick to take your money with no item! I worry if we do have warranty issues! Never again.

As predicted we have warranty issues! It finally got delivered on Monday, damaged. The beige curved chaise has heavily noticeable black scuff marks on it. Contacted store with photos. No response 3 days later

No words for how terrible – Purchased an outdoor lounge setting online from this store. Delivery address and billing address we’re different. receipt and was basically called a liar. Since then I have spoken to them 4 times. Each time I’m told something different. •the first time: the items have been collected by the courier enroute to billing address (well, at least I know they’re on the way and will be here in 1-2 days!) •the second time: they have been picked up by courier with no ETA. •the third time: I was asked to call three different numbers to then be told I needed to use the chat function on the website - who told me the items were still being packed. - it was at this stage I told them due to their complete incompetence I wanted to cancel the order for full refund. • the fourth time: today, where I was told the items are with the courier and ETA is 21 days.

I WISH ID SEEN THE REVIEWS ON THIS PAGE BEFORE ORDERING!!!

Unbelievable Terrible Service – Appalling Customer Service or should I say lack off! Purchased a 2 and 3 seater Lounge and advised a delivery date of approx 12 weeks, it turned up 18 weeks later. off to their so called customer Service team, I say lack off as I was given a whole range of excuses why they were not checked before delivered.

They advised they had feet in stock in QLD and it would take up to 1 week to be sent, I was disappointed to say the least as I explained i had just taken my lounge to the tip and people in the household had no where to sit. I asked why they could not be sent express but this fell on deaf ears.

This was approx 7 weeks ago and I still do not have the feet for my lounge, I have contacted them numerous times and they still cannot give me an ETA, i suggest they go and take the legs off the floor stock but was told we do not do that.

So now they have the money they could not care, I even asked them to come and take the Lounge back but they did not respond, was told you can sit on it and if damaged they would replace. So its okay for me to sit on it with my knees around my ears and be totally uncomfortable with a risk of ripping the base material. I would not sit on it because if I do not have my legs still after 7 weeks how long would it take to replace so we have to sit on chairs.

Totally unacceptable, there should be spare parts available and lounge should be checked before delivery, they should take my suggestion of removing feet from a showroom floor, oh thats right if they do they would not be able to sell as who buys a lounge without feet, go figure,

it the lack of communication and care is what the problem is, I am sitting here on the floor and they could not give 1 x dam as they now have all the monies and in the process of providing no customer care to another client or number should I say.

charged $129. At the end lost 129$ in delivery fee and also didn't get one of the item that I had ordered. Customer service also seems rude and arrogant with no intention to help. Better off buying online than visiting their store. Delivery date was also messed up for stools for which I have to pick up myself. Already 129$ was paid for multiple delivery. Even for refund you have to visit physical store which seems like 80s to me.

welcome and go shop online it’s private property and you can’t shop here, my 2 kids got upset and I have never ever since the pandemic started been treated the way they treated us today. You should be ashamed of your self. They have a sign infront of the shop states unless you are exempt, we questioned the manager his response yes it’s private property then why have the sign he then said it’s the law !!!!!!!!WHAT!?? the law says unless exempt so they pick and choose the law. Since then we have clarified our concerns with services NSW and will be taking it further.

Terrible service will never shop there again and will definitely be spreading the word – Tony was the sales representative I dealt with he has very poor customer service skills, stuffs up your invoices and says one thing (in terms of delivery ) e.g free and can hold your items for x amount then you get surprised that items need to be delivered ASAP otherwise you’ll be waiting for next shipment which could take a century from my… Read more

Also bought an Amarah coffee table last year early October which was damaged and until this day I still haven’t received it, after brawling with the team I kept receiving lies about delivery dates and yet nothing was even put on the system, now I get told they have only ordered the table top not the legs and if I don’t pick it up ASAP I will have to wait for another shipment ( again this is me calling the store to check up on things as they don’t have the decency to call customers and notify them of changes).

I have one more item pending with Amart and this time ill be taking my experience to fair trading with all the supporting documents I have!

Worst store do not buy from there and never deal with Tony who claims to be a manger

Sven Tables have cracked in 3-4 months – After many emails Amart came to the party with x3 offers which is what I expected in the first place. bar stools, needed a new base on one. TV unit damaged top bowed and had a hole in it. they replace. second one damaged and piece broken. Got refund. Never never buy from them again.

the paper veneer on the coffee table came off with it. I had no idea that the furniture I had bought was covered in wafer thin paper. They advertise in their warranty that it covers anything life can throw at it, yet when I asked for the top to be replaced was refused as it was not a manufacturing warranty.

I will never buy from them again!!!!

Thank god I barely use the dining table, imagine how well that would last with a paper veneer!!!

claim and no respond for few days, start reading through other comments and saw lots of bad reviews about this, was loosing faith. But then chat online to follow up (2 times) and finally arranged someone to look/fix, the rest are great. -1 star for the late respond, however I can say overall experience is great from visiting instore to delivery.

Eventually sent around to warehouse to pick it up. 5. Get it home, terrible quality. Screws for legs are not long enough. Fittings of legs falling apart. Very cheap chinese quality evident, poor weld. Two chairs in the carton, instead of one. On the phone that afternoon to arrange to return next day. Systems still down. Can't process returns in store, need to get head office approvals. Head Office tell me return approved just drop it into store. Back and forth we go. 6. Get to the store today, system problems, no idea of the return. Ask me to drive to warehouse and return faulty product, then return to store for credit. Feel sorry for front desk staff, they are polite but seem poorly trained in their systems/processes. Communication within this organisation is awful. All up about half a day to a full day wasted with this company for naught, we were only after a single chair !. Never again - stay away from them - awful.

Superb Service - really outstanding – After 19 months, an electrical problem occurred on our Electrical Recliners. I called and the service was amazing - super polite, friendly, competent and to the point! In no time, the lady concerned located our purchase record, assured us we are covered under warranty and sent us a link to fill a claim form online. I couldn’t believe it, so I trusted what he said and picked a lighter colour couch with the full trust in what he told me...... only for the product no to work for my milk marks

So I called amart for them to redirect me to SmartCare, cause they don’t deal with it. I did what I was told to do and send an email with photos of the my invoice and couches. For them to NO SURPRISE, email me back to say it dosnt cover it.

I was fuming. SO I called amart back and asked to speak to the person I’m charge of everyone, only to be tosed around to funky get to the manager, and when I explained to him what happens he pretty much called me a liar. Telling me, y would my sales person tel u this when it isn’t true, and y would u but light couches if u worry about stains. I explained to him that I trusted in the product and beloved what was being told to me and what it does ( I didn’t think a company that big would lie) and he couldn’t understand what I was saying. Just kept telling me I don’t understand y u would but the light couches.

So then I went into the amart website to call head office only to be told there is no direct number to call and to speak to the person I live chat. She assured me that the complaint will be taken further but she couldn’t give me a reference number or anything as proof!

So now I have light couches I can’t clean unless I pay a company the same amount I paid to buy the SmartCare, to have hem clean again!

I will never again trust amart or but from them again. End I will make my voice heard!

Service – Don’t ever buy furniture from this place. Their service is disgusting. You get furniture in a. Box then the box does not fit through door. They don’t tell you any of this. Also they don’t tell you that you assemble it. I really don’t trust the furniture as my sons fell apart. They work their delivery drivers contracted to the bone. Never again!  Show details

yes it had been checked ,green stickers all over the box even with a signature on every one. Opened box to find it was damaged. The item had not been pulled out of the box at all for checking . So it went straight back on that truck . A few more heated phone calls even to head office , QLD, where they said I would receive a call from the supervisor. Still waiting. They have no respect for customers once they take your money that's it , see you later. If next delivery is damaged a full CASH REFUND will be given as agreed . Let's see if they stick to the policies.

Now the fun begins, I went and they were dismissive and couldn't care less. That's exactly what is mentioned in most of the reviews on this website.

My wife went to speak to the lady there, she stated "This is not his hand writing " basically accusing my wife of "forging" the driver's statement. It was finally delivered but this was too late as they had lost us as customers.

3 complaints and I doubt you will even bother to reply.

1) Alida Lamp table N1 darwer slide is faulty, the upper groove edge is curved which prevents the drawer movement.

2) The staff of one of your branches in NSW are rude and completely incompetent.

3) Your 1800 number that you print on your boxes is useless. I had no answer whatsoever twice today 23/10/2016 at 3:55 pm and 3:57pm.

What you purchase is not always what you get. Keen to resolve customer complaints – I ordered a Matrix 2 seater and a 3 seater chaise. seater no chaise. I rang the store and was offered a discount and 2 free ottomans next time I was in Caringbah. The $20 ottomans I was offered you would not put in a dogs kennel. Every time I sit on the lounge I still get frustrated.

Super Amart Caringbah (Jonathon) contacted me and was very keen to resolve the issue and keep the customer happy. They agreed to replace the 3 seater with the 3 seater chaise. I have exchanged the lounges and it looks great.

to wait for someone to come in to assess??? then whats the point of me waiting for 2 days to just get someone for assessment? Can't you send someone right away? Im leaving Sydney for holiday very soon and I dont see this problem solved anytime soon before I leave. Now everything is just lying on my living room in a mess...This is a nightmare. right, we started discussing the lounges then he went to the computer and just stayed there . I found him to be ignorant and not helpful at all . Obviously the staff aren't getting paid on commission cause they don't want to help or sell you anything.
