Do not buy shadow 2 9 piece what a rip off falling apart, chairs are non existent and now table is starting to fall apart as well, firstly the screws started falling out then the timber started growing mushrooms, definitely not timber, lasted about a year, I’ll never go there again.

left me on hold for 39 minutes, then half way through the conversation the phone "disconnected" took be over an hour to get back on to the warranty department and the when I got in contact I got the run around, 100% guarantee I WILL NOT ever purchase furniture from AMART again and will NEVER recommend to anyone else to buy from them. Would give a 0/5 rating if it was possible.

and we were notified. final payments made and the suite was delivered a couple of days later on the day we requested. Delivery men were very efficient and had the two pieces put together and in place very quickly. Very good quality and workmanship. Both items were as displayed in the shop. Well made and looked magnificent. Have bought from Amart before and on each occasion have been very satisfied with our purchase and the efficiency of the staff. Have no hesitation in recommending them.

deteriorated significantly. The foam has softened far beyond what would be considered reasonable, causing deep sinking and a complete loss of proper support. On top of that, the internal springs are now clearly noticeable and uncomfortable, to the point where they can be felt pressing into the body during sleep. This is not just minor wear and tear — it is a serious failure in product quality.

This mattress was marketed as a premium product, yet it performs worse than much cheaper alternatives. The level of discomfort it now causes has directly impacted sleep quality and overall wellbeing. Invoice # 396 - 233356 What is even more frustrating is the lack of support from both Amart and Orthokinetic. Despite paying extra for a 10-year protection plan, the issue has not been resolved, and the customer service experience has been extremely poor. There appears to be little accountability or willingness to stand behind the product.

Based on this experience, I strongly advise others to avoid this mattress. The quality does not match the price, and the after-sales support does not meet basic expectations. This has been a costly mistake and a very disappointing purchase.

The Leather Doctor arrived and advised that a possible accumulation of body oils had soaked thru the topcoat and penetrated the leather...He would make a report to Amart but said it could take ipto 2 weeks to get a response...Two weeks passed with no response so I rang the Leather Doctor who got back to me saying that Amart had sent me an email declining my claim and had closed the case. I never did get any email from Amart so I rang them and explained the reason for my call...After waiting on hold for 25 minutes - I hung up and called again. After a further 12 minute wait I was told my claim had been declined to to "an accumulation of residue that has led to the breakdown and damage of the leather's topcoat". This has then resulted in the damage of the pigment and given the appearance of peeling" - There was no appearance of peeling, the leather had broken down! Now, I have had a similar Recliner which was purchased from Gascoigne Leather for over 12 years... After 12 years of identical use and habits there is not the slightest problem with the Gascoinge recliner. Interestingly, There is only one place on the Amart recliner that has failed - the headrest. Surely, the reasons given for declining my claim would point to multiple areas where the accumulation of residue should have created an identical problem? It hasn't! I have replied to Amart warranty and advised them I do not accept their decision and intend to take the matter further.

They offered me a store credit of just over $200 yes $200 . They also wanted me to waive the 10year warranty on the structure. Yep the 10 year warranty will be canceled if I except their amazing offer of store credit. I never once asked for change of mind but they emailed me another response saying that change of mind was only for 30 days so a return is no longer valid . I wanted it replaced with one that has been painted probably, not a change of mind . I also said they could pick the one I have when the other is delivered . Nope not going to do . So they offered me $650 STORE credit and 10 year warranty is cancelled. Omg … i suppose I could just go around with paint pen and hide the white .so to stop the stress I put to them 50% direct to my bank refund and I will keep it .And waive warranty. Another email saying change of mind was only for 30days .i haven’t changed my money and I love this suite I just wanted the beautiful black I was shown in the store . I was willing to wait another 12-16 weeks . Then after always saying bedroom suite they send email saying only the bed frame is covered under the warranty as that’s all I reported and I would have to put forms in for each part of the bedroom suite . Also since I have already put one in on the bed I can’t claim if something breaks in the 10 year warranty term . I am 60 years of age and live alone , I don’t have kids damaging it nor do I have wild hanky panky on it . since noticed that my Latitude Visa has been charged twice for this item — once in December and again in January — both for $1,499.00. I contacted Latitude, and they advised me to follow this up directly with Amart.

I am extremely disappointed with this situation, which has caused significant stress and inconvenience. In addition to the double charge, I would like to highlight the following concerns:

The product should have been checked for quality before leaving the warehouse.

When the urgent pickup was organised, I showed the mould to the delivery driver. He touched it with his bare hands and suggested I clean and use it, which raises concerns about a lack of health and safety awareness.

When I spoke with an Amart staff member on 6 January 2026, I was clearly told that there would be no additional charge, as this was a replacement for a faulty product. The extra charge suggests an internal miscommunication.

As a FIFO worker, I had to arrange assembly twice, take time off to be home for deliveries, and manage multiple steps including delivery, assembly, warranty complaint, pickup, re-delivery, re-assembly, and now a billing issue.

This entire process has been very frustrating and time-consuming. I request that this matter be resolved urgently, including confirmation that the duplicate charge will be refunded.

Please advise the outcome as soon as possible. I also hope this feedback helps improve quality control and customer service for future customers.

Poor quality, aluminium welds on the lounge & one chair were cracked and there was overspray and marks on various pieces. Notified AMART warranty dept. who arranged to collect the unusable item. The replacement item, which arrived in late December, was also damaged. Lounge had a severely buckled leg. I didn’t even unpack the chairs. Contacted AMART Warranty, who offered another replacement, that would have been the third Pavilion lounge! When I declined, they offered that we go into AMART and select a different brand lounge. I declined. Only then did they offer a refund, which I accepted. I had to contact AMART to arrange collection of the lounge. They will eventually refund the purchase price once the lounge has been collected and processed through their warehouse. Essentially, I purchased an outdoor lounge in October, it’s now January and we still don’t have a lounge and no prospect of a refund until mid-January. No lounge over Christmas, no refund and pre-Christmas sales have finished. No apology from AMART, suffice a couple of proforma emails arranging pick up or delivery, and no acknowledgement of the disruption over the holidays or the inconvenience of coordinating the 3-4 hour window of being home for deliveries and pick ups. I appreciate that there are bigger issues facing people today, however, AMART have lost these customers, so buyer beware.

nightmare. Emails are ignored, no one follows up, and there is no sense of urgency or accountability. Now I’m being told some items won’t even arrive until April, which is completely unacceptable. Once Amart has your money, communication and service seem to disappear. Extremely frustrating experience and definitely not a company I would trust or recommend.

I recently purchased a range of items from a lounge suite, dining table and chairs aswell as a buffet unit. Upon collecting them i was shocked how large the items were in boxes. Thinking I will need to make a few trips. To my surprise the gentleman Paul managed to load them all in my trailer and car, saving me time and money as I live 30min away.

return your email. Their business model is to take 100% payment up front. After that yoy are on your own if your furnuture arrives good and well but if it doesn't then that seems not to be their concern. If they become insolvent before your goods arrive you have likely lost your money and there is no one in the organisation to help you. So please take care and good luck.

phone but he had a system malfunction and all of his jobs were wiped, but then went on to tell me that she can see he contacted them via message the day prior but no one has looked at that message and this is a whole 24hrs later. After I asked her a couple of more ?'s I was told it was an Amart wide malfunction. When I asked her to clarify I was told it was just the one technician. I had also emailed the day prior as on Monday I was told the tech would call me "shortly" he was advised Monday by the person I spoke with. I was told my email received no response as yet as it can take 24 - 48hrs as I then go back to the bottom of the list. There must be so many faulty items sold there that it can take a company that long to respond to an email. defect happened again within just over a year. The second time, we were told they could not replace it because they no longer sold the model — which honestly says a lot about the quality of Amart lounges.

Customer service then advised me I would receive a refund and could “spend my money anywhere I wanted” because it was “my money.” Based on that assurance, we purchased a replacement lounge elsewhere after completely losing trust in Amart’s quality. We knew the new lounge would take 3 months to arrive.

We asked Amart if they could delay collecting the defective lounge because we are a family of five with young children, and being without a lounge for 3 months would be extremely difficult. They refused and said it had to be collected within the week or we would lose the refund. So we reluctantly agreed, expecting our nearly $3,000 refund back into our bank account to help with groceries and general living costs.

The Auburn store again confirmed the refund would be back in our account within 2 days of collection. At no point in any previous conversations did anyone mention a gift card. Multiple staff had access to my order history and payment method, yet not one employee advised that because the purchase was made using a gift card, the refund would be issued as store credit. Instead, I was repeatedly told the money would be refunded back into my account. Only AFTER the couch had already been collected was I suddenly told I would be receiving a GIFT CARD instead.

Completely unacceptable. That was never what was agreed to, and if this had been disclosed earlier, I would never have agreed to return the lounge and be left without one for 3 months.

This matter was first raised back in November 2025, and now it is almost May 2026. After countless phone calls over many months, they still refuse to return my money. Instead, they are holding a gift card at the Auburn store and expect me to collect it in person. Our local Amart has closed, so Auburn is now the “hub” store, meaning I have to travel there just to collect store credit I never agreed to.

I no longer have the lounge. I do not have my money. I am being forced into store credit with a company I never want to deal with again.

Every time I call, I’m told the matter has been escalated and someone will call me back. Nobody ever does. Six months later, still no resolution. Every call means explaining the entire story again to a new person.

Customer service is terrible, and Amart has shown they are not trustworthy when it comes to callbacks, promises, or resolving issues. I have repeatedly asked them to listen to their own recorded phone calls. I even provided dates and times where their staff told me: “It’s your money and you can spend it anywhere you want” and “You will receive your refund back in your account in 2 days.”

Yet nothing has been done.

They are literally holding my money hostage in the form of a gift card and expecting me to spend it in their store. I do not trust their quality, and I simply want them to honour what was promised and refund my money back into my account.

This has easily been the worst retail experience of my life. Avoid Amart Furniture at all costs.

All of this has occurred under normal household use — we’re two adults who take care of our furniture.

Trying to get a warranty claim resolved has been an absolute nightmare. Customer service and head office are nearly impossible to contact, and the stores simply pass you off and take no responsibility.

Save yourself the time, money, and frustration — look elsewhere. If I could give zero stars I would.

frustrating. I waited three months trying to get the issue resolved, and every two weeks I was told the same thing that they were still waiting for parts to be sent out. Customer support was just as poor, with hold times exceeding 2.5 hours. Even after finally getting through, any progress made would fall apart the moment another promised deadline was missed.

For something marketed as suitable for outdoor use, the overall build quality and after-sales support are both unacceptable. It clearly isn’t designed to withstand regular sun exposure or light wind, and the lack of reliable support makes the situation even worse.

I would not recommend this umbrella to anyone looking for a long-term solution. It may look fine initially, but it doesn’t hold up over time and if something goes wrong, don’t expect a smooth resolution.
