Extremely poor customer service.poor quality furniture
Broken rails...chipped bed. Texted them they won't help or exchange. Manager didn't wanna do anything. Twice my daughters bed broke
I have always bought furniture from Amart and have had issues several times. The latest is my $1,600 couch has seats that have sink holes. You sit and feels like you are sinking into it. This is the second couch I buy from them where this happens. The first I had only spent $1,000, the springs would hurt the person sitting on the couch. That one got replaced. But I then later decided to spend a bit more in hopes the couch would last, but a couple years in and similar problems are appearing. We are not heavy people who live on the couch so to ha...ve this happen yet again, no matter how much you spend on their couches is disappointing. I have lodged a warranty claim and await a satisfactory resolution. I am not really interested in getting another of the same couch as, otherwise, it feels I will have to keep getting back to Amart every few years when the seats collapse. I will update the review advising how they have resolved this.
Very disappointed service
Bought a rumpus 3 years ago with 10 year guarantee, which sinks while sitting, someone came to inspect same, haven’t heard anything after a week, upon contacting Amart, I was told that they cannot do anything as there is no manufacturing defect according to the inspection. I wonder what is the meaning of this 10 Guarantee??? , also they did not even bother to contact me after inspection!!!. Not recommending Amart anymore
Grossly overpriced cheap and nasty furniture!
Went into this store to look around at furniture and was amazed at the cheap, nasty, rubbish quality of the furniture, yet they have the most absurd, grossly overpriced prices for such nasty rubbish. No wonder the store was empty when I went in on a weekend. Can get the same priced lounge suite at Nick Scali and getting quality, not nasty!
Bad condition Kota tallboy dresser
I have exchanged the Kota tallboy dresser 3 times and the quality keeps getting worser by each exchange. At end i will apply for refund
I bought 2 white Marissa sofas at the Amart sale. Heidi, the salesperson was so helpful in getting the right sofas for my situation. I have a small lounge room and did not want a 2 and a 3 seater sofa. Heidi gave me a discount on 2 x 2 Marissa sofas. The other salesperson threw in a free white pouffe in the deal. The sofas are so comfortable. I have terracotta floors and navy curtains, so the white really pops.
Warranty not honoured, cheap and nasty products
Over 6 years have spent over 16K in furniture with this business. Each and every item has had faults, fallen apart and had to be repaired. Replacement is not an option, they repair and do that poorly. Would Never ever purchase from this business again. Buy Australian consumers, you pay at times just as much but the product is true and lasts. We are nearing moving to our new home and the prospect of buying at Amart will never again be a viable option. Extremely disappointing that we are being blamed for defects in poorly manufactured items.
warranty is a joke .lets start a class action case
purchased a new lounge payed for extra warranty and fabric protection .foam in seats has collapsed .its not structural so not covered .seems the waranty doesnt cover anything .
They don’t honour warranty.
Bought a couch just over a year ago and a cushion has become so soft my butt hits the timber frame but they say it’s not a manufacturer defect. Be aware when buying there. They give you 10 year warranty but do not honour it if you have problems. Lost a good client as far as I’m concerned.
We can trust the business
Bought two sofas. Had some defects In one, no other furniture store is good when it’s come to replace their faulty product. I’ll give 5 stars for their customer service and business model for looking after the customers. Got the replacement with few easy steps. Thanks Amart.
We purchased the TIA small corner chase in PU, it is not our every day couch so has not had much use since we got it at the beginning of 2015 (6 years ago). The bottom has completely deteriorated and has flaked off completely, and the PU in parts of the couch has lifted and flaked off. It only had a 12 month warranty. Just a heads up when considering the life of furniture when purchasing. It will need to be replaced after about 5 years.
AG1 Gaming Chair not worth $659
Thankfully I didn't spend the full $659 but still spent around $580 and has been terrible. I've had it replaced after having it for a month and another month into the second one, needing ANOTHER replacement. Both times the gaslift has gone so while sitting in it, I'll just randomly sink back down, and the chair wont go back. For such a high priced chair, I really expected more.
We purchased the atticus lounge from amart only for some time later the fabric was splitting and the inside of the lounge was exposed, they offered us a replacement which the lounge was replaced by the Holloway lounge and EVEN WORSE this lounge and the fabric is the worst, the fabric is disgusting and within months of having the lounge or started to pill not only was it pilling but the fabric was actually fraying, and the stitching coming undone also all the cushions were beginning to lose their shape. WITHIN MONTHS OF HAVING IT!! I submitted a...warranty claim with amart only for them to take weeks upon weeks to respond about anything, finally a response saying they would have a technician come out and assess the lounge which he did and told us that the lounge shouldn’t be doing this, this early in its life. I thought after he submitted his report that I would hear back from amart ASAP.... NOOOO several phone calls later only to find out they had the report for over 2 weeks and haven’t bothered to get back to me. Every customer representative I spoke to was rude and condescending, one girl actually laughed at me and was very unprofessional! I was told in store when we were getting a replacement that this lounge would not pill or anything that it was a “good Quality” lounge... still no resolution from amart other than them trying to put the blame all on me when they’re the ones that sell cheap nasty products for thousands of dollars. Taking this matter to fair trading hoping to get a better outcome. Save your money and don’t bother with amart. They even sell you the smart care fabric care package and then still won’t cover your item under their own warranty guarantee!!!! DISGUSTING

Faulty outdoor setting
We purchased the Lillian Outdoor Setting on the 21st November 2019 from A Mart in Toowoomba. In November 2020 we noticed the table top had a bow in the timber on one side. Through lots of emails from A Mart, they have advised that the problem is caused by the weather and we do not have a case for warranty. The table top arrives already assembled which means we did not make a mistake in assembling it. This setting is sold as an outdoor setting with a 5 year warranty as stated on our Invoice. We did ask A Mart for the Manufacturers details to t...ake this further but have been told they are not available. We did have a cheaper outdoor setting in the same position for 15 years with no problems except for paint. We feel for the money we spent on this setting it should have lasted more than 12 months but A Mart does not agree. We are very unhappy A Mart customers!
Bought the optimus 3 and 2 seater leather sofa , only just over two years old and it's already showing very bad wear and tear and faking , would advise not to buy from this company, I have sent messages many times about this problem and receive no answer
Excellent customer service but the products I have purchased have been a disappointment.
I have brought the whole house package including the study ( the industrial) and just about every piece of furniture had a mark, was badly damaged due to shipping, the draws didn't line up and neither did draw handles, and you could clearly see that the piece was only half varnished, not only did I have to wait 6 to 8 weeks for it be shipped over but then I had to wait an additional 6 weeks for the products to be replaced. They had to send two people from Assemble Anything to saw the brace piece for the kitchen table that didn't fit, and they h...ad to re screw most of draws and handles. At the same time I brought the bedroom package called the "la fresca" that's not how you spell it. And once again the draws didn't line up and had some scratches on the bedhead along with one of the bedside tables and then the brace pieces to attach the mirror didn't line up and the draws wouldn't slide out smoothly. How ever when I brought the issues up with the customer service team they were apologetic and were lovely to deal with. So a year or so later I decide to give them another go....I brought a $75 bedframe and mattress and once again the bolts don't line up. The customer service is awesome but I'm afraid that's it. Their products just are a disappointment in their quality. It doesn't seem to matter if it's $75 or if it's 14 grand that your spending, the quality it just not their. I probably had 7 different people that I spoke to in the store over the last couple of years and every single one of them was exceptional in customer service, they have a wonderful team at the Moonah store but sadly I won't be dealing with Super Smart in the future.

Missing components, too bad
My husband and I bought three beds + mattresses, dining table, buffet, side tables, coffee table. There were components missing from a few boxes, most of which my husband managed to work around. We called and emailed the customer service department about missing components from the dining chairs, but were asked to 'prove' that components were missing with several photos, copies of paperwork etc. We just wanted the product we purchased, in its entirety, and shouldn't have to spend hours on phone calls, emails, photographs, scanning documents. Seriously considering returning it all for a refund, and we will never shop at Amart again.

Worst quality, disgusting customer service from the customers solution team
Bought quite a few items from this store in the late 2019 and now regretting every one of them. Especially dinning chairs and corner sofa. Disgusting quality of the goods. Tried to raise a warranty claim but it's been over 3 months there's no progress. Sent over 10 emails, called 5 times and every time I get to hear that a technician is assigned and he'll contact soon. Absolutely useless customer service and product quality. Not recommended at all.
wouldn't recommend spending even $1 in this store. manager has no issues selling defective products with some of the worst reviews online, when issues are brought up you are told "they will improve over time" issues are passed on to 3rd party companies that then run you around back to customer service which tell you to speak to the store and the cycle continues. company is happy to take money from you then offer no assistance when their products fail. if your looking for new furniture go to Harvey Norman.
