They offered me a store credit of just over $200 yes $200 . They also wanted me to waive the 10year warranty on the structure. Yep the 10 year warranty will be canceled if I except their amazing offer of store credit. I never once asked for change of mind but they emailed me another response saying that change of mind was only for 30 days so a return is no longer valid . I wanted it replaced with one that has been painted probably, not a change of mind . I also said they could pick the one I have when the other is delivered . Nope not going to do . So they offered me $650 STORE credit and 10 year warranty is cancelled. Omg … i suppose I could just go around with paint pen and hide the white .so to stop the stress I put to them 50% direct to my bank refund and I will keep it .And waive warranty. Another email saying change of mind was only for 30days .i haven’t changed my money and I love this suite I just wanted the beautiful black I was shown in the store . I was willing to wait another 12-16 weeks . Then after always saying bedroom suite they send email saying only the bed frame is covered under the warranty as that’s all I reported and I would have to put forms in for each part of the bedroom suite . Also since I have already put one in on the bed I can’t claim if something breaks in the 10 year warranty term . I am 60 years of age and live alone , I don’t have kids damaging it nor do I have wild hanky panky on it . Amart has been brought buy an investment company that also has its own legal firm who is trying to take advantage of me .Also lie about what I wrote in my emails . What company wants to void your 10year manufacturing warranty if you except ther store credit . I must state the staff and management at Amart Warana have been nothing but nice and professional to me . It as actually them who advised me to email customer service even gave me the contact details. They also are trying to say I must be cleaning it with harsh chemicals. I’ve been a cleaner for 20 years i would never do that . All I do is wipe it over with a dry microfiber cloth .Now I feel like I’ve been take advantage of and they have scammed me out of a lot of hard earned money . Warranty Claim and repair was quick, simple and professionally handled – THANK YOU AMART! We purchased a comfortable two seater leather lounge from Amart eight months ago and have been delighted with the quality and comfort. Their website said they would be in contact within 72 hours which it did. They phoned me and organised for the Lounge Repair Guys to assess the claim immediately.
Two days later, a very friendly person from the Lounge Repair Guys phoned me to arrange a time to visit us. They phoned again confirming an inspection date and time.
One week later, a technician from Lounge Repair Guys came, approved and repaired the problem on the spot, which took about 3 hours because it was under the leather upholstery.
He found that the wadding on top of the foam didn't have enough glue and had slipped. After unscrewing bolts and removing a million staples he was able to access the rogue feather padding and glue it back onto the top of the foam.
To our delight, the cover that shifted was a layer of soft down feathers.
We just assumed it would be some ordinary wadding, not down feathers. What a nice bonus!!!!

manufacturing and not normal wear as I was told by the Warranty staff. Why was I sold leather care kit and 5 year protection for a inferior product. These lounge chairs retailed at $8,000, which I purchased in an EOFY sale for $4,000. This product has not met my needs and expectations. The team leader in the Warranty section "[Name Removed]" was uncaring and unhelpful and inexperienced in her job. When I was told there was no claim I then received a customer feedback email to which I responded with negative comments. The feedback asked if I would like a Manager to contact me. the memory foam used appears to be getting softer and not keeping its memory, and secondly the couches are changing colour. I took a cushion to our local foam retailer (Foam and Rubber Industries) assuming I would need to buy a firmer foam. They advised the memory foam was of poor quality and was collapsing (their words not mine) and strongly suggested I take it back to the the retailer first. Regarding the fading I took a cushion back to the store to compare it to floor stock, you be the judge of the photos below comparing my cushion to new floor stock. Even the sales consultant who came over to see me was really surprised when I expanded what had happened. She also stated AMart are usually good, and she felt this should be returned. Again no mention by sales person that leather may fade etc. Please note couches are not in direct sunlight, and have been well maintained even using A Mart recommended leather conditioner. Couches are sold as being black, more like a VERY dark brown.
We lodged our claim with A Mart online as they requested with supporting pictures etc. A person came on behalf of A Mart he said very little, he did however agree the couch did have a red tinge to it though. In short AMart rejected our claim outright stating fading is not a warranty claim, and cushions were OK. I took my case to ACCC who referred me to QLD Government office of fair trading. Thank you for providing the received correspondence dated 9th March 2022 from the consumer We understand that the consumer is not happy with the outcome and is seeking a partial refund on the GIORGIO Sofa Pair received 18th December 2020. We sent a Qualified Leather Technician out to assess the issues with the Giorgio sofa pair and it was deemed by the technician to be no fault customer perception. We actually have a video that they use to train the team in store about what the leather is and how it ages and what the foam is. The leather will age to have more of a patina look to it and the cushions use high density but then they also have between the foam and the leather a layer of feathers to give it a sit-in feel. In this case, we will not be providing the consumer with the partial refund as requested. If you require any further information or wish to discuss this further, please don't hesitate to contact me.

To me it seems strange that the only pieces im having problems with is the ones they took away, I don't know if anything was spilled or rubbed on the lounge while it was gone. They told me when I bought the lounge the leather had a 10 year warranty. Do not buy a lounge or any other furniture from there. There warranty is non existent. They will not honour it.

now we are setting it up to be used to enjoy with family and guests. However, it is to our disappointment we find that the chairs are very small.
The photos on the Amart website that enticed us to purchase this setting didn’t display anyone sitting at the table to give us any indication of how small this setting was, but now we are finding out first-hand. For instance, my wife who is an average size 12 female finds it very confining to sit on the chairs. also, when my teenage son who is a skinny 15 yr. old sits at the table on one of these tub chairs, it looks like a giant sitting at a child’s chair. This product was purchased solely for the purpose of entertaining guests and allowing them to sit at the setting comfortably and enjoy. However, on one occasion, our visitors who were size 14 female, both young and old, were squashed within the seat an complained about how uncomfortable and squishy it was. Another time, our other guests who were slightly wider than the standard size would not even attempt to sit at the setting as it was obvious, they would not fit.
the Average Australian bottom size 37cm wide and the tub chair width to rear is 35cm.These are not exaggerations. You may wish to look these up yourself. These tub chairs are made in China predominantly to cater for their standard sizes. I’m afraid they do not fit for purpose for European/Australian general population.
I have so far contacted the Amart Warana store for a resolution. The manager however wouldn't budge sighting there is no manufacturing fault. They agree that chairs are 55cm wide. However it baffles me how they fail to see the point that internal measurement are substantially less, which hampers the use of these chairs in a practical manner. For the record, those internal measurements are 43cm at the front and 34 cm at the rear(see photos).
Since then I have contacted the QLD office of fair trading to intervene on my behalf. I must say I am Very disappointed with the whole experience with Amart and would steer clear from them from now on.

My wife and I are the only people who sit on the lounge seats we do not have children, I found that each spring has its own material sock pocket which the spring is compressed into each material sock pocket, the material is so thin and soft that the springs wear through the material and busting out of each pocket penetrating up into your behind. The problem I see with Amart is the buyers they use are inexperienced when going to China looking at pretty furniture without any skill set to look at the products being made and asking for changes to problems they should see if these buyers were skilled in furniture construction. Great Experience – We recently brought office and bedroom furniture from the Warana Store. The customer service that we received was second to none. They organized delivery from the warehouse to our door and called us to let us know that our order was on track. Amart doesn't disappoint in their lack of customer service nor their product quality. Once AGAIN, not willing to give me my deserved 12 month warranty on the new replacement! It's not like I want anything unreasonable is it? My first couches failed within 12 months & now again, failed! Yet I'm told, "No, it doesn't come with warranty sorry, otherwise everyone could just get a new one before warranty runs out." What? How much confidence do they have in their products?! lounge suit still looks new. We paid a total of $999 for the lot on sale then paid $70 for delivery and were please with the delivery service! Without even asking they offered to help us move the furniture where we wanted it and assemble it for us (we declined only for the fact that we had to race out ) but were told if we need to call the store at anytime for help they would return.
Thats great service. From the beginning of my layby till the end of service the staff were helpful and a joy to deal with, the customer service could not be faulted at all. Everything we were promised we got the measurements that were given were exact ... To my recollection i missed a payment and i was still not charged even though i agreed to the layby terms and conditions and was met with only understanding and grade a customer service. I was told a delivery date and it was kept. We will shop for all our furniture needs through the warana super a mart for yrs to come.

I am very particular about sitting on the lounge and making sure we are clean and not sweaty and dirty, even to the point of putting sheets on the lounge to sit on during the warmer months. and beyond that we found the lounge we desired. They greeted us at the door, then when pondering over couches another sales man came and helped us decide. He whipped out a tape measure at any couch we even glanced at to tell us the sizes, He showed us colours and designs that werent on display and spent about an hour helping us decide on what we would call a major furniature decision. He helped us arrange delivery to our house and they even put the lounge together where and how and i asked (the chase could move). We even recieved a lovely follow up call where we were asked about our experience, and just for answering their call got a $20 gift voucher. $20 doesnt go a long way anymore in the search for furnature. But it was such a lovely gesture it put the icing on the cake for this purchase experience. service, quality
