we will get an answer within 5 days. Surprisingly even after explaining and visually looking at it, I got a reply from the warranty team saying that it's a non-manufacturing. When I stated my point on the defect on a brand new product, they got upset and asked why am I angry with them. $2000 worth of product is not cheap either. By looking and sitting on a brand new product coming from the warehouse and gotten defective within 2 days, I am not sure what else can cause a manufacturing defect. I even called the store and they said they can't do anything about it. This is the worse ever I have experienced, leaving me in deep space with no solutions given to a faulty product. I will never recommend Amart to anyone at all. Take your own risk. I will keep on fighting until I get a solution from an incompetent company who just wants to cheat customers.
Update: After much negotiation, A-mart has finally gave me an option to replace any sofa matching the price or higher. I have managed to replace new couch. Happy with the newer product.
Only thing is that you have to spend extra energy fighting for a replacement.

store made good on their word. After that, it took approximately 2 months for my goods to be available, which suited me. The warehouse called me to organise a day for delivery and after a bit of back-and-fourth over the available delivery day, we settled on a Saturday. When the items were delivered, it was a quick and efficient process and I was given plenty of warning about the delivery time including a window in which the delivery driver would arrive, a phone call 30 minutes before and a tracking link so I could see where the van was. This was very impressive compared to my delivery experiences with Harvey Norman or Focus on Furniture. After the items were delivered and we unpackaged them we were instantly disappointed by the quality of the products. The entire bedside draw corner was smashed in, even though it had been in layers upon layers of packaging. Our tallboy was unstable and nails were visible on the top. The other bedside table was also chipped. After providing imagery to the Customer Service team and following up with them after about a week on silence on their end. I was offered replacements for all items and again, after a bit of back-and-fourth on a delivery day, the items were delivered and were in good knick. I had been advised that the items were checked before they left the warehouse this time which is was helpful. Super Amart furniture is definitely a case of "you get what you pay for". The customer service at the Campellfield store was fantastic from beginning-to-end, communication from the customer service head office team needs some improvements as do the warehouse staff facilitating deliveries. Overall I'm really satisfied with my experience. The packaging is a bit excessive and their should be some recyclable option were you can return packaging to store etc...

due to Black Friday and was advised it wouldn’t go as low as price I was getting. So I purchased and had it delivered on Wednesday 15/11. Lo and behold today 24/11 the suite is down several hundred dollars lower than I paid, and I wouldn’t care so much except that I feel was mislead on pricing. Had the salesman [Name Removed] stated he didn’t know if it would go lower than my price in the sales, would have been honest, but to say it definitely won’t was not true. I was also advised by the store that the table top and buffet top were solid wood, which they are not. One chair is slightly damaged and will be putting a claim in for that. I feel that honesty is most important and it was definitely not practiced in this case.

to Amy from this store who advised my mum that she has to deal with a warranty claim. How can this be a warranty claim when it was damaged in their hands. I rang Amy to tell her that obviously someone from their end has dropped the ball and that it should not have been delivered in that fashion and she advised me that their customer service does not extended to looking at the damaged product or boxes before passing them onto customers, I was shocked in her response, basically not care. This all from a company that advertises on their website about QUALITY GUARANTEE, this seams like a joke when their is no care for giving customers clearly visibly damaged good and let the customers wait for a warranty claim once we have their money.

manufacturing defect. (How could you tell by seeing a picture it's not manufacturing defect). It's very unpleasant experience with product and the customer service. As a result of this, we are even feeling insecure about the entertainment table and lamp table which also has the similar glass top. Very life threatening!!!
This place is a joke.. stay away you might as well throw your money on the bin – the products so low in quality that just after a few uses the couch gave me the worst back pain.. the table and chairs polish came off and the paint chipped. They are soo unhelpful.. wont give me my money back. Amart - Eleanor Modular Couch. Rubbish don’t buy it! – Purchased premium couch $4000. Nubuck fabric. Less than 2 years the fabric wears unevenly and loses its leather grain look, turns into faux fur on half the couch but not the rest. None of the cushions match. Looks cheap and nasty. store, the rest is how it looks after 2 years of being used once or twice a week. Decide not to bother chasing it up with Amart and instead turned the couch upside down and retied the knot on the strings to make it tighter making the dimple deeper so they look new again.
Contact Amart finally about the poor quality of the fabric. Sends around disgustingly rude technician from The Leather Doctor. Comes in with massive attitude problem and picks faults with my “perception” of how the fabric should perform because I’ve compared it to Nubuck fabric couch from Harvey Norman that has out performed this one from Amart. Told Nubuck fabrics can’t be compared. And when I say “told” I mean rudely and abruptly cutting me off mid sentence. Technician leaves.
Following week, chase up with Amart customer service, 30 minutes on hold and get told my warranty is void because I’ve modified the couch by tightening the strings on the dimples. And the poor quality fabric is expected to perform like that, it’s just my perception. After initially being told it was just “pilling” which is only possible on a knitted fabric by the first customer service rep.
Now pursuing with VCAT. And will win. The product quality is disgusting. The timber used inside is cracked and packing string is used to create the dimple effect. Do not buy this couch unless it is for staging in a house for sale and not being sat on. It will not last. I’ve purchased $16,000 worth of furniture from amart to boot but after this customer experience and warranty dodge I’ll never set foot in there again. You don’t even have to save up to buy something better from somewhere else, this is their Premium couch and costs more than others elsewhere. Do your homework. And judging from all the poor reviews here they don’t give a toads about you either it’s all about the initial sale. If you’re a young couple and want to furnish your house avoid falling into this trap. The furniture is extremely poor quality made from recycled rubbish materials from China. It warps, chips, splinters, delaminates and pills and stitching comes undone. It’s all nasty nasty nasty furniture. Go to furniture clearance stores instead avoid this place.

I won't be here for 5 weeks so would that impact anything? I got a response that the store will call you once the stock arrives and you can let us know when you can pick this up. When I was away I was aware that my number probably wouldn't work as I am overseas so as a responsible customer I dropped the store emails letting them know that I can pick up the product after I land back in Melbourne. Once I arrived I went to store to pick up my order (Nobby) and to my surprise the the order was cancelled. The staff asked me to re-send them the emails as they denied they got any of the emails. After resending the emails twice the response I got was " Due to technical glitch we must have missed the email". after that it's been 4 times that I have visited the store for a resolution, but haven't got to any final resolution. I was told the Nobby setting will arrive in May end which doesn't suit me and I have been very patiently telling that I am ready to work with them to check out what other options I have. The store manager also refused to give me price match on any other item and later said take Nobby for the same price but wait till May It's frustrating to hear on my last visit when one of the staff members told me that the manager isn't available and he hasn't left any notes for us in system where as I was working with him (same staff) on my lat on my previous visits (2 hours) discussing what options they can give me. I call the store thrice yesterday to save myself some time and tell them how frustrated I am with all of this and they couldn't put me to manager. Overall it's been a long long time and I don't see any other option than posting here
Fantastic Package – In 2017 I purchased the Le Franchhoek furniture package, it was a excellent choice, I love it, it’s easy to clean, strong and hard wearing, perfect family friendly furniture. I wanted see how well it wore before I gave a review and it is very impressive. I would definitely recommend this furniture.
Terrible Customer Service in Store/Over the Phone/Amart Customer Care..Terrible follow up.. Campbellfied store by sms or email or by voicemail. I had a small function / gathering arranged at my home based on the delivery time line given by Amart Campbellfield store, which i have to postpone as the recliners were not there on time and no information provided by store that it will be delayed.
On calling were rudely an unprofessionally advised that they were about to call and inform me. Further no apologies or regret for inconvenience and was advised that delivery will be after 6 weeks.
After six weeks was notified for delivery, on delivery I was shocked to see that the brand new electric recliners had lot of marks, stains and very dirty, Even the delivery driver was shocked to see such a bad electric recliner.
Called the Campbellfield store and was advised that they cannot do anything and I have to lodge a complaint with Amart Customer Care by calling and sending photos. Did that and was advised that, they will revert back after 2 days, but again no call back or follow up.
I have to call multiples times to Amart Customer Care and Campbellfield store to get either a replacement or $ 460 as compensation if I keep this damaged or stain or used recliner. I was also promised by Amart Customer Care that I will get a call from Regional manager for compensation as I insisted on compensation for the inconvenience.
But the horrible experience of buying electric recliners continue as the replacement electric recliners were even worse than the previous one and was damaged too and threads coming out from all of them.
Again have to go through the same process and guess what again 2 days turnout time to get a solution and this time again, I have to call multiple times to Amart Customer Care and Campbellfied store manager to get a solution to which I am not fully satisfied.
I was offered only $400 this time by the Campbellfied store manager which was even less than the previous offer and rudely advised that i can keep the recliner and just wipe the stain mark with the care kit provided as it is only minor and these things happen which is not a good excuse for a brand new recliner.
On Insisting for higher compensation was rudely told that Amart do not provide compensation for inconvenience as these things happen occasionally, which is not a professional answer. Finally settled for $750 Refund for all this horrible and terrible customer service in store and over the phone, lot of inconvenience, and most importantly lost all the happiness and joy of buying a new recliner.
Would never ever buy at Amart Furniture or would never recommend it to anyone. Horrible Staff, terrible customer service, Cheap quality furniture and lengthy paper work to get replacement, refund or a decent outcome. Furniture not good value for money. Not happy with the outcome.

Cancelled my order without telling me – Ordered a bunk online 2 weeks ago, to pay by cash on pick up. Received a confirmation email saying ok. I replied saying i wasn't contactable during the day except during lunch hours, and left my husband's number as an alternate. wont refund or replace the mattress coz it is my fault according to them and they will only give us ‘200 aud store credit’ for ‘goodwill’. Customer service was terrible and rude with us even with the manager involved as they wont believe us and they trust their drivers and delivery guys. I then realized I have CCTV installed inside and outside of my house which is in my favor. Then they saw it themselves that their delivery guys was lying and just making up stories. furniture within 2-3 weeks and the MADDOX approximately one week later which was fine with us.
It turned out to only be about 1 week from order to deliver the BISBEE furniture which was great. However, I was disappointed to discover that the BISBEE entertainment unit was damaged after unpacking it. The nature of the damage was (in my opinion) likely to be somewhere in the transit process as the main body of the unit had bowed distorting the drawers etc. There was no obvious damage on the packaging.
I called the store who transferred me to a local dispatch centre. The person i spoke to was apologetic and advised they could offer either a discounted price if i wish to keep it or replace the unit (which i requested). She then checked availability did a bit of backend/distribution magic and advised that they could deliver me a replacement, arrange collection of the damaged unit and she fast tracked my MADDOX furniture so that they could get everything sorted out promptly. Several days later, I had all my furniture in perfect condition and am enjoying my new furniture.
Amart is a pretty big company and their sales/delivery processes are designed for volume sales. I can appreciate that things can go wrong somewhere in the chain so what counts for me is how you approach and resolve problems. Amart completely nailed this in terms of how they approached and resolved my issue. Thanks Amart, you can be assured we'll be coming back for our next purchase.

I have had other sofas and had grown ups sitting on the arm rest and that never happened. I should have listened to the reviews online that they are poorly made and will not stand the test of time.

Went into Amart and chose a new couch. The woman at the service desk couldn’t be more rude.
We were informed they had to take away our existing couch days before our new one could be delivered. Days. They have stuffed up yet once again we are inconvenienced.
