DISSAPOINTING QUALITY “BIG 0” RATING had to do 1 star which is another trick.
Worst quality I’ve ever purchased. The side rails feel like they are made with cardboard. Absolute rubbish for the price we’ve paid. Customer service was useless, had to wait for replacements and then by rude delivery people who cannot even speak properly, forget politely. Most unhappy and Will make sure we never shop here again. NEVER buy rubbish from this place again, FIRST AND LAST. Pictures speak for this product. Same story with 2 bedroom suites purchased here.
Excellent customer service
Purchased a bedroom suite to use in a spare bedroom in our house, when we unpacked the goods found some damage to the bedside table. Contacted Amart and within the hour we exchanged the damaged item with a replacement unit. The Manager even contacted us personally as we were returning to the store to advise us that the replacement unit was ready to be collected at despatch.

Buying furniture from Amart is easy, good customer service, all very quick and efficient. We have bought a few pieces, large items no problems with putting them together, although the quality of products are low. The eaglefield came with no instructions, after a phone call they emailed the wrong ones, another phone call, right instructions this time, the instructions were confusing, difficult to follow. We have put IKEA & FREEDOM furniture together without any difficulties. Quality of this produce is very low, we found customer support to be poor. (never received bolt kit we were promised as pieces were missing)
Absolutely awful all over the department
Went in to purchase lounge and bed. Walked out with a 4 week wait for delivery and "added insurance against accidental stains" for my lounge. Super happy!!
8th week approaches still waiting for furniture, store saying the lost the bed head. Iv cancelled my bed purchase and requested immediate delivery of lounge.

First time good Service quick Delivery
Shopped Boxing Day with Mum in her pension age early 80s first time at Dandenong South store. She ordered SVEN 7 piece ivory white dining suite on special $200 off $499 plus $88 delivery total $387, while salesman tapped her details of name and address including my mobile phone number and email so that they can email the receipt besides receiving the paper receipt from the store. Once the driver called my mobile two days later on a Friday morning to deliver them to our rental apartment, the dining suite arrived in carton package unassembled. Be...ing in my middle age early 50s, I was able to assemble the table and chairs without a problem using two tools - the allen keys and phillips screw driver. Patience is needed for the chairs as the white curved backrest part takes time to angle it in the right position because the screws seem short and may require some strength to hold and press the backrest part in place.

Worst experience ever
We had 3 home deliveries through 3 different people for my new home. But this is the worst. They made my new carpets full of muddy and dirty. They were very careless and I talked to the manger regarding this and it was not helpful at all. They didn’t apologise with a single word, very disappointing..Never recommending these guys if you want a good service.

Wrong item delivered
One of the items received was wrong and too bad their warehouse is close during Saturdays but they have deliveries on Saturday, sounds like conflicting...
I sent the photo on the same day and got promise that a warehouse personnel will call me Monday morning. I made a follow up Monday lunch time and they said they had talk to the warehouse people already and there I need to wait for an hour. 1 hour had pass and no calls was received. I rang them again and they said warehouse is processing it already. I called the warehouse and there I found ...out that they just called the warehouse like minutes ago only before my call:-( Probably the action took longer if I didn't call the warehouse. Sigh What ticked me off is that another clean up in our hall way and living room again as their tradies don't removed their muddy shoes. I don't know how hard is it for them to speed up the action and work closely with their customer. Something that needs to be added on their system. Note to them: customer service is the key for a successful business, not the a discounted price of your product...

Third class customer treatment @ Dandenong Store
Our family members went to Dandenong store to buy coffee table and tv units etc. It was a Saturday , we look around store many time even one single sale rep didn't come and ask to help but lot of them there with sort of same customers more than hour and hours. Its very hard to understand rep expecting some things from those group customers?. finally hardly walk behind one rep and ordered 4 items more than $1000 after he put orders in ipad and he went to talk and doing demo in bedding area. We came to counter - only 2 staff was there one female...were serving financing customer other male one served one customer second I was standing. The rep name tag was ([name removed]) didn't talk any single words me and close the counter and went, I was really shocked but the female rep ask sorry for us. At that day I spend more than $1000 and this is way I was treated at cash counter. Really shame AMART
Wastage Of Money Crap Furniture Quality Never Ever Buy Them
Bought a sofa for 2600$ seat cushions are all gone in 6 months & threads coming out of seats cheap quality shit.They said its under warranty for 5 years trying to claim warranty but no one replies to your email been 2 months no answer called store they said only way is to email there warranty team. Worst company and crap furniture quality . Highly NOT Recommended . Wastage of money .

Checked online for a queen bed which would compliment a recently installed bed bridge bookcase. Found the perfect bed on the Amart website. It was for a guest bedroom, rarely used, so was inexpensive. I was having people stay overnight so required it within 2 weeks. The website stated it was in stock at the warehouse. Excellent. Went to Amart and spoke to the salesperson who stated there were none in stock however they would be getting a delivery that week and it could be delivered the next week, before it was required. (If not I could g...et a refund on the deposit. That didn't make much sense!!) The bed arrived, a week and a half after I needed it but at least I had a bed for next time. Then I went to put it together. It wasn't inexpensive... it was cheap. One female screw holder for the leg was in the shape of a half moon so needed to be bent into a circle. The other leg didn't fit at all and the female screw holder fell into the bedhead so it's now been attached with construction glue. The slats are made of a composite soft wood which peels as you attach the holder and there was a small tear in the material, luckily it's not in an area that can be seen so that was also glued. Now I need to purchase some planks to reinforce the slats. I wish I'd checked Product Review prior to buying it. I normally do but was in a hurry. Won't be shopping there again.
Very poor management, with a poor answer
Went into smart Dandenong store with my 11 yr old son, went to buy a surprise dining table for my wife only to be ignored, til I approached a so called manager who steered me to a uneducated foreigner to assist me, he gave me 2 minutes of his time then went off somewhere else, when I approached that so called manager he as he walked away said they were busy. I run a very successful business and the first thing I always am aware of is your never too busy to assist a potential buyer. I then said this is ridiculous his come back was only o"oh well" I said I was going to Harvey Norman over the road and he was not fussed, a cash sale was lost ...
Lift your game. Never to ever go back.

When we were looking at dining tables in store we were told that only the table needs to be assembled and the chairs are already assembled together.
After opening the boxes we discovered all chairs must be assembled
Cost of delivery is so expensive. You need to come up with some sort of pick up service to get rid of all the boxes and cardboard! Free of charge of course since you charge so much for delivery.
We bought our first couch from Amart after just three months the fabric had piled and the couch looked terrible, we complained and go a new one delivered - same thing happened - complained again and got two leather couches in replacement. Now after just twelve months the seams have split and foam has sunk. Terrible quality Amat - Discusting you can charge money for the rubbish
I went to Dandenong Super Amart to buy an outdoor dining set and made it clear that only if they can deliver by weekend i will place an order. The lady said they can, and on friday i get just the chairs when i asked the delivery guys they said i need to speak to the store when i rang the store the lady was rude and said they dont promise the delivery, i spoke to the ,maager and he said he will organise one from Ringwood and that stored promised to deliver by saturday afternoon and ened up delivering at 8pm in the night when i had a house full o...f guests ,i paid the delivery charges for botht the stores, the store manager from dandenong promised to refund one charge, i needed the outdoor dining set for the party and it was delivered in the night when the party was going on. To make matters worse they reduced the price of the set by $300 , so i paid more i didnt get the stock in time for my party and had to make so many calls . never trusting these guys again........

Received damaged tuff, called n asked them to replace it they said email us with pics, after doing this, I followed up after 24 hrs they said they going to look my email and reply, no answer 48 hrs again called them this time store Manager lift my call and said we have many emails to respond we will do it in our own time with very rudely answer my call n saying we r doing no dramas... Called main call centre and asked for explaination then they respond me with replacement... After buying customer service is very poor, Super Amart is waste furniture store.
Purchased timber outdoor setting two years ago and the legs of the table are cracked from top to bottom. The same happened on the table top and chairs. This is already the second set. The first one had the same issues and was replaced within the warranty period. Even I applied special timber oil it could not be avoided. Super amart is not accepting responsibility because there is only 12month warranty on the goods. Buyers beware.
