I would think carefully before buying from Amart and will be advising all friends and family to stay away from them.

I bought the cassis lounge off the floor and ive had nothing but trouble with the recliner they came to fix it three times. My 2 year warranty ran out after having it 2.5 years I pushed the button to recline the chair & heard snap! The piece of wood which is the structural piece snapped. from their ipad as if we never had this discussion. I thought maybe it was only that particular staff member having a bad day as ge was missing out on $13,000 purchase. But Braybrook manager was just as rude, acting as if he was doing us a favour and putting unnecessary pressure on us to commit.

Terrible service – I was lied to by staff member in order to secure sale. I purchased a TV unit, coffee table and a large couch. We agreed on a date that suited me. Upon final pay prior to depart overseas I was contacted by store member to be told that they don't do delivery on Thursdays. I explained that I work away so when I m home my time is well structured and I had made plans based around the agreed date. Show details

Extremely disappointed – Bought 6 dining chairs They advertise its their Signature Collection. Don’t buy this product the workmanship is extremely poor. Pieces of timber broke off whilst trying to place screw in Some screws can’t be attached as they don’t align up with the holes. Asked for a refund and was denied. They want me to return chairs and they’ll fix them. I want my money returned which they’ve said no.

Hopeless and Fake brand, it should be band from selling goods – Hopeless brand, terrible customer service. I purchased all me furniture at one go. The wood started to develop cracks on the tv unit and the planks of the chair coming out on it's own. When I called the customer service they were not at all considered and after 4 months of running they said go to external help(consumer forum). $4000 wasted. Do not trust this brand. with the product manufacturing. I can't understand that the foam of seat is not firm and is started sinking just after 7 months, how the product quality is good. We spent 2000$ to buy this and now it is almost unusable as when you sit on it, you feel yourself in a hole. Upon contacting back they rudely refuse to talk. To me Amart has no quality and I will not recommend anyone to buy anything from there.

Now its been 4 months and have not heard from anyone. I call the techincian a few times. Doesnt answer or return my call I going to go to a local shop and get under one of their display couches with my screwdriver and just take the stupid plastic part off and put it on myself

our transaction is completed. Amart takes the view that I paid $3k for "a couch" and they delivered "a couch", even though its the wrong one. I was eyeing up spending another $4k on bedroom furniture with Amart during recent sales, thank goodness I didnt. Congratulations Fantastic Furniture, you just made $4k !

Poor service and quality product – We purchased 2 sets of couches on 22nd March 2022 and it came out faulty from the box. the recliners are not working. The fault was reported from the day we received the couch ( which is well under 7 days of right of exchange or refund duration). Smart care – Guys, do not go for Smart Care its just a waste of money. Its a product which the staff of Amart Furniture tries to sell but when a need arises the company itself will find some way not to clear your claim and they will put everything on you and will take it as a wear and tear. were told that one of the models (Boatwood) were standard models and will certainly get it on time. But later got notification it will be delayed. Bed side tables of both models were delayed as against was told they will be available by the time we need towards May end. When we were in store We saw another model bed (Silverwoo) that was earlier similar price as one of ours but now on more discount. So we wanted to check if there was any possibility of further discount on the one we had ordered. Else we might have changed it to the other (new) one. We were deciding on these two and trying hard to negotiate the price, when [Name Removed] got annoyed and said we should go back and decide what we want first and come back and let's cancel the order and start another order. Not in a polite way, that was so rude and sarcastic. We knew what we wanted and that's why we were negotiating to pick the final one. Anyway, when we said there was an issue with the order and that's why we came to look for the option he said "I don't know about that and I have 1000s of orders to take care of". We had been negotiating politely and that's what customers do! If you can't give a better price then there is a way to tell. You amend the order or cancel and re create or do whatever is the process, is not customers' concern. He just made us uncomfortable saying all that and behaved as if it was a big favour to us. Even said he is not bound to give discounts. Not sure if that was called for in a customer centric job! And finally when we decided to cancel the whole order he was like "Okay that's great" and kind of "threatened" that we will not get any discounts on those products later! Wow...attitude was amazing as if there are no other stores around other than this Amart! One in such role must know it is not only about discounts or products but about how you behave with your customers. We were getting decent discounts but we let it go ONLY because of his attitude. If they really care, AMART management must take a note of this. Well, we used to vouch for the brand...but no more after this experience. Not sure even if they care anymore about their customers. Most unpleasant experience so far in a store so far.

an issue from logistics perspective that does not allow them to deliver the item (in my experience working over 18 year in manufacturing environments and supply chain i had never seen something like that)

Worse furniture ever purchased – Purchase lounge suite and within the first six months had trouble with a chair. Have had 2 repairs on a chair, replaced once. Had a repair done on couch. photo of the defects and send it to them together with the photo of the P/O. Send it to them immediately on the same day of the delivery and got a reply that they will get back to us 72hrs after the receipt of the email of the photos. Until now, I haven't heard from them.

I should have read the review first before buying from them.

I will not recommend this company.

Would never buy from them. Don't spend money for TROUBLE! – When i bought a corner lounge and the tv unit, the guy was super nice and confirm me three times that item will be delivered coming Saturday and also confirmed that both tv unit and lounge will be unpacked. representative lady was super careless and said it won't arrive and it will take more time.

I had to call another 3/5 times over the period of 4 days before it was delivered. Even the manager was so incompetent that he asked me "What you want me to do"

When i eventually received the item on Wednesday, the delivery guys said they won't unpack anything. The shocking thing was the TV unit came in a flat pack & i have to assemble it. In front of the delivery guys i called them again and the manager now accusing me as if i was lying. I refused the TV unit for refund. I had to go to the store to get the refund. Point to be noted, every time i called the the Guy who sold me the item wasn't available to talk to me as i was asking every time to get a hold of him. I confirmed that he works on the weekend so i went to to Amart during the next weekend to receive my refund and specially to confront that sales person and guess what that guy is not there. I got my money after 3/5 days for the tv UNIT.

I am writing this review to share my experience and to aware others don't look to save couple hundred and get this sort of nightmare. Please don't contact me any Amart employees and apology as you were super unhelpful when i needed your assistance. Now i don't need it. If you can train your customer service people.

Most frustrating modular iv ever brought – Spent $2,400 for a modular lounge to find I needed to drill holes for the feet. That was my first frustration. Second is Its impossible to connect the modular couch together. The brackets touch eachother but wont click in. Tried 2 people drill, even 3 people. Still cant put it together.  Show details

out the components are not manufactured in proportion - left side of the bed was longer in size than right side :( not sure what happened to the Quality control or product checks?

Would recommend rather paying extra money and going for other furniture providers.

The mistake i would never do it again. Never buy from them – Poor quality products, the sofas i bought came in poor packing and were used/returned and faulty. Had to get those replaced. The day replacement was due had to waste whole day waiting for delivery driver guy or a call but no luck. The delivery came around 7PM and guess what, the replacement sofa's had more faults than earlier. Had to send below… Read more

Just want to say sorry for my mistake to buy furniture from you. I assure you that it will not happen again and i will make sure no one in my circle does that mistake again.

It must have been my fault that my purchase of brand new sofa's were not clear enough and i was sent defective, dirty sofas which seem to be used/returned item. And then you had to call me back on complaint to arrange a replacement. Apologies for inconvenience.

I appreciate your call yesterday advising my new sofas have arrived and will be delivered today. The driver will get in touch with me in morning to arrange delivery.

To make sure I don't cause more trouble to you as customer, i cancelled my weekend plans and instead of spending time for kids, i ensured i stay at home waiting for call or delivery.

I called twice to store to check status but was advised to wait for delivery driver's call as Weekend is very busy with deliveries and driver have to load truck twice so no one can confirm expected delivery time but wait for driver's call who will give me about 2hr lead time.

I have been waiting to welcome your delivery driver since morning, and it's almost 4:30PM with no call and no delivery. My mistake, I would have asked in advance about your schedule to ensure your driver and team was not that busy and arrange delivery some other day suiting them.

I am even happy to correct my mistake and return purchased items and cancel transaction to avoid further stress to your business.
