So disappointed after buy this dining table after recommendation by Amart staff member.
Bought a Kianna 1600 Dining Table upon recommendation from Amart staff member. Was concerned it would mark/stain easily being white but Eas assured it would maintain its quality with spray and wipe. This has not been the case & now looked horrible.
Warranty claims hard to do
Bought a 3 seater electric sofa. After 30 mins the electrics die. Submitted a warranty claim where you have to enter date of purchase, model number, store, upload a receipt and 4 photos. All this is compulsory. Got all that then had a tech attend. Part was swapped and it’s not fixed. In the meantime was advised warranty 46133 closed. advised I can’t reopen and have to redo the full new warranty again. Really?? What a pain.
Good customer service in store but terrible delivery service and lack of communication
Ordered all our furniture from amart. Was told furniture would be delivered between 12:15pm - 2:15pm and would be called 30 minutes prior to delivery. It came to 3pm and still had not heard anything then we finally got hold of them to be told it wont get delivered until 5pm when we had been waiting since 12pm! If they messaged us earlier on then we would have been happy but no communication whatsoever. To make matter worse they delivered the wrong bed and base so we had to wait another week for that to get delivered! And all our furniture came in flat pack which we were never told. Will never shop at amart again and wouldn't recommend to family and friends. Do yourselves a favour and dont waste your money and time with them.
Excellent service let see when the stock arrives
The sale man in the nunawading store was fantasic his name is Dean now we will see how the outside furniture will arrive hopefully there is nothing wrong with it because I have brought from them before and it was damaged twice when it arrived
In store service great, that’s where it ends
We bought 2 lounge suites and the first one was delivered yesterday. We were not told that it came in boxes or that we had to put together. We paid the delivery fee expecting it too be delivered, put in lounge ready to go. The delivery guys put them in our lounge room and we had to unpack them and then get rid of the cardboard. The 3 seater couch which was in a huge box and recliner chairs were too heavy for my husband and I to put together. My husband has COPD and is TPI Vietnam Veteran. We had to get our daughter and son to come around and p...ut together for us. We then had to cut up all the cardboard which was heaps and would take 3 months to get rid of in our recycle bin. So off to the tip to recycle there. That cost another $25.00. At no point of the sale did [name removed] or the Cashier tell us that this is what happens. If we had known that, we would have gone somewhere else where the service extends past the sale. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. Will never shop there again.
Purchased a big corner sofa, a king sized bed and mattress. Within weeks the fabric was piling in under 18 months the cushions are becoming lumpy on some seats, even after turning the mattress every week it has sunk. Put in a claim but of course they the 7 yr warranty doesn’t cover piling! Maybe they know the fabric they use is poor quality? Very disappointed when you pay good money and get crap! Never buy from Amart if you don’t want to be disappointed.
Sell Second Hand Products, Packed as New Products - with Missing Parts. Do not buy from here
Repackaged a Returned Product missing parts as a New Product. And will not send out a replacement. Spoke a [name removed] who would not let you speak and she hung up when I tried to speak. Disgusting customer service. Do not buy from super AMART - it is a CON of company.
Dreadful customer service
Purchased a bed online and was called early the next morning to confirm order and advised that it would be 3 to 5 business days. Called on the 4th business day and was advised that while it was on order they couldn’t say if it would be there tomorrow (Thursday) or next week. Was also told that the notes said I was coming into the store to arrange finance - when I explained that no that had not been discussed she said that I should’ve paid a deposit, this was also not discussed. Was told that if I didn’t pay a deposit they would cancel the order.
Average quality product with fair price
The customer service is not bad. You can get much lower price comparing with other retailers like HarveyNorman if you pick similar quality products. BUT, be careful because in my case they send product which actually is not "brand new". We shop lots in one time including sofa, coffee table, chair and dinner table. When we received deliveries we can see a really bad breakage on coffee table corner and the screw hole was clearly been used before. So my suggestion is if you short of budget you can choose this retailer but be careful when they transfer products in your hand. Like every else retailers, you can get different answers for same question from different stuff...So, be strong and patient.
Great place for all your household furniture
There are many furniture shops out there with varying prices. Amart offer good quality cheap furnitre which still looks great. I purchased my couch and bed set from here and havent looked back. I love that they keep some of their popular items and still update with styles and colours as the industry changes.
Worst quality furniture I have ever purchased
The furniture I purchased was a flatpacked bookshelf. The quality of the screws contained was awful, over half of them couldnt be screwed in the whole way due to the ends of the screws being so cheap that they lost their shape and could no longer be turned either way.
The holes drilled for the doweling weren’t the right size so there are gaps of a couple of mm at nearly join. It wasn’t cheap either. $50 more than the ikea equivalent. It is really disappointing to waste time and money on junk furniture. Now I have to see whether they will give me a refund as there is no way of returning in original packaging.
Worst customer service and faulty products
Purchased a couch 3 months ago. It arrive faulty with missing parts and stains. Have spoken to customer service multiple times in regards to the missing parts. Have had the couch for 3 eeeks now and have not been able to sit on it.

Everything I wanted had a wait time of 8-16 weeks!! Chose 5 different couches until I found one that was in stock, same story with lamp tables and sofa tables. Ended up with a couch I can have in 1 week, a sofa table that will take 8 weeks and 2 lamp tables that will take 12-16weeks to deliver. What the actual . How is this acceptable??
Exactly what I wanted!
I bought a 3-seater light grey couch and 2 navy feature arm chairs. Staff were all super helpful and nice, one guy even helped me drag a chair across the store to see it next to the couch before I bought it. Everything was extremely well priced, the whole payment process was easy and quick. Delivery was organised within the week and the delivery guys were lovely, on time and gentle getting the large furniture through a tight door way. After reading the reviews on here, I was hesitant... But glad I bought from there! Lots of compliments on my new loungeroom so far!!!
Horrible service and damaged goods
Hi. I'm very disappointed with the Nunawading (Vic) store. Firstly I placed an order for a tall chest to be delivered on Saturday (today) because I have no means of collecting the item from store during the week, which turned up damaged. Paid the $88 for the delivery because I have no means to get it from the store. Called up the store straight away to report it and the person on the phone ([name removed]) said they would try to get it delivered today, which they could not. She then told me the best they could do was maybe Monday after 6pm, bu...t could only request it and there was no guarantee that it would turn up after 6pm as it was up to the delivery people, and if they advised of an earlier delivery, then I would have to reject the delivery. This means I would most likely need to wait until next Saturday, when I've already been waiting a week for it and living out of suitcases. There is no way I can be home earlier, nor can anyone else be home earlier, to receive the delivery any earlier than 6pm during the week because we work in the city. Which means if they can't deliver after 6pm, I have to wait until the weekend again. Terrible service.

I too purchased a cream coloured accent chair as shown to me on the shop floor- picked it up today( it was called slate) and it was grey--- rang them up - drove back to shop and was told it was the lighting ... made things look a different colour(???)... But the chair on the showroom floor was a creamy colour that's why I chose it ... they checked my return chair and said that it was indeed a greyer colour!!! So I picked another accent chair - but it was cheaper - coming in next week ( have to drive back again)- refund ??? No- they can only giv...e you a store credit as I opened the plastic around the packaging !!! How was I too see if the chair was the correct colour without opening it ??? They should give a full refund not shop credit - what if I never go back to this store ??? they'll have my $140 in their accounts - not right and not happy !!! This would never happen at places like Target, Myers... Big W....
Super Amart Nunawading
When I ordered the sofa set, the sales lady told me it will take 4 weeks for delivery. Paid 20% deposit and waited. Few days later I got sms telling me the stock is ready. It is hard to believe. Then paid the full amount on the same Friday as I was told to do so otherwise no delivery. Confirmed 1 time on the phone and another time face to face a day before scheduled delivery. Were promised delivery will be made on this Saturday (today) and driver will call me. Called the store at 10:30am and the lady on the phone refused to give driver tel numb...er and reason given was 'not sure which truck driver will do the delivery'. Asked me to wait because the delivery is on the second run for the day. Called again 2 hours later to find out why still no call from driver (at 12:30pm). Told me the same thing without much help. I don't think I will ever buy from them again. By the way, when I made payment on the counter, I was not even treated like a customer and I was shown rude face. Invoice was thrown on the counter. Is this how you treat your customer? Received the sofa at about 4pm when the driver called me at 3pm. I was not able to go out for the whole day and just waited for the sofa to come.

I visited to buy stuff for my first home, abhi helped us selected items I think he was newly joined and was taking help of store manager named Akmal .
Abhi worked hard and he was asking again and again to Akmal about stock available.
Akmal didn't responded to him and he thought everything is available apart from coffee table .
Not happy with store manager Akmal, please respect and value all customer.
Front desk , reception team was really helpful when we went at billing counter we came to know that we won't get any stock deleiver till mi...d December or after Christmas . This is so bad and lack of service and knowledge provided to team members , today we shopped for entire house we paid money ,but we won't get stuff on festive season. Some how atleast a bed will be delivered by time ,highly appreciation other manager step into matter and helped us ( Emil).
False Advertising Bunch of Liars
Purchased furniture during the Father's Day promotion & because I spent over $999 - well over, I was supposed to be entitled to a $200 store gift voucher as advertised in their Father's Day catalogue. I was told it would be emailed to me in 2 to 3 weeks. After 4 weeks I still hadn't received the email so contacted them only to be told it would be emailed the next week, again nothing. Then last week I contacted them again & was told that it was being posted by the end of the week. Another 2 weeks have now passed - 8 weeks in total now & still no...voucher. Just a bunch of con artists with no intention of ever sending a voucher. Will not be shopping there ever again & nor will I ever recommend them to any one. False advertising!!! Their loss not mine as I still have several rooms of furniture to purchase. Lucky for me there are plenty of other furniture stores to choose from.
