Rude and unhelpful management. Poor delivery – My husband and I were so excited to have purchased beautiful furniture for our new home from this store - however, we had SO many issues with Amart. Our delivery was booked for the wrong date and the store manager was the most arrogant, unhelpful employee I have ever come across. We have been back and forth to Amart time and time again trying to resolve issues and had to contact head office to get anything sorted. Will not be back unfortunately.

replacement parts. Now I want a refund because not only are the drawers missing and there's a gaping hole with broken bits and missing screws, but the slats have caused me multiple splinters, as they are un-sanded. Very poor quality product and extremely SLOW to non existent response time with customer solutions team. I have a heavy heart every time I see my new bed. The bed looks unfinished and tacky as it currently stands. Guys, I WANT A REFUND, and you can send someone to come and collect the bed, as per Consumer Laws. Please advise ASAP, Amart Furniture. they took off the plastic protection. Spoke to the delivery manager and he politely apologized and offer store credit and now received after 3 weeks, at least they have done something to rectify. If you think Ikea stuff take effort to assemble, some of Amart furniture will be even harder. Bought the Majesty set and each one has so many parts to assemble and the items are so heavy. The saving from purchasing this set ended up hiring people to assemble them. Instruction was either incorrect or missing pages(see pic). You get what you pay for, the cheap price means they use laminated wood even though they look good and real, look closer and the finish are not great. I am not complaining since I am like the price range but not sure how long they will last.

Too long waiting for delivery – The wait time is just unexplainable. I have been waiting for a furniture item since last 4 months + . Its keeps getting postponed. I thought its all supply chain issues but it doesnt seems to be affecting brands like kogan , temple and webster, ms amara. Unscrupulous staff railroad undecided elderly customers to purchase – Staff here are very aggressive for a sale. Elderly parents were undecided, staff consciously would not allow me to voice my opinion as they could see I was doubtful especially as the products were inferior quality and not suited to our requirements ie have to be assembled etc I was literally pushed to the side and not given an opportunity to intervene until after the eftpos machine was swiped. damaged in transit. I only noticed it afterwards as it wouldn't sit right (either crooked when against the wall or not aligned to the next chair piece).
I reported the issue immediately - I then had to supply photos of the damage, the packaging etc. I sent all of that off and waited. I then received an email to advise that I could receive a Refund of $142.50 and keep the damaged piece or, have the item replaced. There was no ETA on when the replacement would come. $142.50 seemed insulting for a sofa that cost over $2000.00, so I opted for the replacement. And i waited. and waited.
By July, I gave up waiting and told them that I have changed my mind and although the offer of a refund of $142.50 for what is effectively a broken item was an embarrassment, i will take it, so that the matter can be over with. By that time, our cat had got to the sofa, so there was now further damage which I felt asking for a replacement was a bit unreasonable.
I am yet to hear from Amart - they now are no longer responding. During this process I also attempted to call the store directly, which you're not easily able to do (seems to be a central call centre?)
Amart aren't doing anything proactively to resolve this and I think its pretty disappointing. After owning the Sofa for around 5 months, its clear that the quality is poor (fabric is a bit naff, foam is starting to suffer in the seats and structure-wise, well if it arrives broken and makes crunching wood sound if you lean too far back, i dont have high expectations it will last). I feel we are going to be lucky to get 5 years out of it.

whilst we were sleeping on the bed! You can image the fright when I nearly died falling off the bed! For $2000 we expected to sleep on it for at least 5 years. Warranty claims hard to do – Bought a 3 seater electric sofa. After 30 mins the electrics die. Submitted a warranty claim where you have to enter date of purchase, model number, store, upload a receipt and 4 photos. All this is compulsory. Got all that then had a tech attend. We had to get our daughter and son to come around and put together for us. We then had to cut up all the cardboard which was heaps and would take 3 months to get rid of in our recycle bin. can see a really bad breakage on coffee table corner and the screw hole was clearly been used before. So my suggestion is if you short of budget you can choose this retailer but be careful when they transfer products in your hand.
