I recently purchased QS bed and mattress from Amart Joondalup. A huge shout out to Daphne and all the staff who helped with many queries. A huge thankyou also to Rahul who sold the bed to me with great product knowledge. To the delivery guys who delivered the bed and mattress in scorching heat thankyou and finally to Daniel who came out and helped also a big thankyou. Kind regards Judy Kennedy Show details
Purchased an electric Leather Recliner chair 2 years ago...Within 13 months I noticed some discolouration on the headrest. I didn't think much about it, untill it started to spread further. Made a claim under the 10 year warranty that came with the recliner and waited for a reply....And waited...and waited...Finally I was told a technician would… Read more
come to assess the claim. The Leather Doctor arrived and advised that a possible accumulation of body oils had soaked thru the topcoat and penetrated the leather...He would make a report to Amart but said it could take ipto 2 weeks to get a response...Two weeks passed with no response so I rang the Leather Doctor who got back to me saying that Amart had sent me an email declining my claim and had closed the case. I never did get any email from Amart so I rang them and explained the reason for my call...After waiting on hold for 25 minutes - I hung up and called again. After a further 12 minute wait I was told my claim had been declined to to "an accumulation of residue that has led to the breakdown and damage of the leather's topcoat". This has then resulted in the damage of the pigment and given the appearance of peeling" - There was no appearance of peeling, the leather had broken down! Now, I have had a similar Recliner which was purchased from Gascoigne Leather for over 12 years... After 12 years of identical use and habits there is not the slightest problem with the Gascoinge recliner. Interestingly, There is only one place on the Amart recliner that has failed - the headrest. Surely, the reasons given for declining my claim would point to multiple areas where the accumulation of residue should have created an identical problem? It hasn't! I have replied to Amart warranty and advised them I do not accept their decision and intend to take the matter further.
I am writing to raise a serious concern regarding a double charge for my Sorvino dresser with mirror. I received the original dresser on 18 December, however it was moulded and unsafe to use. Due to health and safety concerns, Amart arranged an urgent pickup on the same day. A replacement dresser was then delivered on 7 January 2026. I have… Read more
since noticed that my Latitude Visa has been charged twice for this item — once in December and again in January — both for $1,499.00. I contacted Latitude, and they advised me to follow this up directly with Amart.
I am extremely disappointed with this situation, which has caused significant stress and inconvenience. In addition to the double charge, I would like to highlight the following concerns:
The product should have been checked for quality before leaving the warehouse.
When the urgent pickup was organised, I showed the mould to the delivery driver. He touched it with his bare hands and suggested I clean and use it, which raises concerns about a lack of health and safety awareness.
When I spoke with an Amart staff member on 6 January 2026, I was clearly told that there would be no additional charge, as this was a replacement for a faulty product. The extra charge suggests an internal miscommunication.
As a FIFO worker, I had to arrange assembly twice, take time off to be home for deliveries, and manage multiple steps including delivery, assembly, warranty complaint, pickup, re-delivery, re-assembly, and now a billing issue.
This entire process has been very frustrating and time-consuming. I request that this matter be resolved urgently, including confirmation that the duplicate charge will be refunded.
Please advise the outcome as soon as possible. I also hope this feedback helps improve quality control and customer service for future customers.

Great furniture outlet – We bought our couches from Super A-Mart at Cockburn central, invested nearly $10,000 . Great customer service, excellent product, they never were pushy, very customer focused, highly recommended, very convenient location. Show details
Christelle Queen Bed – I had my bed on lay-by and got it in May 2018 just in time for my birthday I do love my bed but am extremely disappointed in the quality the main support beams have bent and broken causing my mattress to dip towards the middle of bed. Kit at Cannington store is the best – My Mother in law is moving house and we sent her to Cannington to look at furniture we had seen. She was served by Kit, she was amazing. She video called us (we live interstate) and showed us around, went above and beyond to help our MIL . Went back again weeks later to add to the order and again we got Kit and again she just made the experience easy and was so helpful
Very good store to deal with – Excellent service. Staff made it easy to negotiate the many items in the store, giving advice and suggestion Delivery service was excellent all the way through. Show details

We placed an order for pickup at the WA Osborne Park store for 2 bedside tables that were advertised as available within a week. We then got a phone call saying that we would have to pickup our order from the Jandakot Distribution centre! Or pay $109 delivery. When I asked why we couldn't pick our purchase up from Osborne Park I was told it would… Read more
be at least 2 weeks contrary to what was advertised. So Amart are trying offload distribution expenses to the customer! Also, the caller wasn't even able to tell me the address of the distribution centre.
I wonder it they would like me to treat them the same with my payment. "Your money is in Karratha but you have to tell me when you want to pick it up, and I wont tell you the address before hand."
Seriously, what's the point of a bricks & mortar store it they don't carry stock? Avoid Amart and just shop from Temple & Webster, they have stock and probably charge less for delivery even to WA. It's all crap from China anyway.
Wish I read these reviews before we bought from them. $3000 lounge suit 3-seater couch padding collapsed after 2 years. We are only 2 in the house no children. We put in a claim and the assessor even said it shouldn't be like that even if we had kids. Amart refuses to repair or replace the couch, says it's normal wear. Their warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on.
An outright scam of the highest level of descete – As all my reviews I believe I am a fair and reasonable middle aged adult and review without any malice or discrimination. two drink holders / storage modules that go between the seats, it arrived as a five seater lounge and only one drink holder/storage module. Their arrogant responce was 'Show me a photograph ' Really...........I can't recall ever taking my camera to a furniture store!!!!! . There was no offer to replace the lounge or missing cupholder module. In all honesty just stay away from this place and try Harvey Norman's or other furniture retailers.

We brought a leather lounge from the signature range almost 2 years ago. After the first 6 months of use we noticed the 2 ends were very soft and sagging, not noticeable-only when seated in them. The warranty guy came and inspected and said it was just settling in and to use the rest of the seat's, which we did. The other seat's have softened but… Read more
nothing as bad as the end ones which my husband refuses to sit on now as it gives him a sore back. We called again to the warranty crew who sent out the same guy who shrugged and said "normal wear and tear" I think this is disgusting the way they have dealt with this issue especially since we addressed it early on into our purchase. My husband and I are not big people and we have looked after the lounge as it is an expensive item we thought we'd have for many year's. Sadly the warranty claim team rejected our concern and we have emailed many times to get some resolution. The last email we explained we would be engaging legal proceedings-Still no reply! Disgusting. Now we have no choice but to go down the legal line to resolve this situation. I would definitely NOT recommend Amarts poorly made furniture.

The Akuna loft bed is unsafe for sleeping. I bought this bed for my son as we loved the previous model we purchased for our daughter a few years ago. During the night, when my son turned to th e side, he cut his brow on the… Read more
edge of the bed. The edges are not curved and are very sharp. He was bleeding and is now scared to sleep in the bed. I have tried contacting customer service multiple times with no response. I even went to the shop but was told that nothing could be done. As a result, I had to spend additional money to buy a separate step so my son could safely climb into bed, and I added pool noodles to all the edges to prevent further injuries.
The bed is also extremely difficult to assemble and feels very flimsy. Screws are falling out, and some were left over after assembly.

Warranty not honoured – We purchased a lounge suite back in December 2023. We were told that we had to wait until March 2024 before the furniture arrive. It was not until May. Not good. On 15/01/2025 we received advice that a technician had been assigned and we would be contacted shortly. Several days later - nothing. We made more phone calls and visits to the store - still nothing. We’ve received several emails telling us how they are ‘progressing’ our warranty claim ? Monday 20/01/2025 received another email requesting photos of the entire product and area of concern, also a copy of the purchase order. It’s THEIR purchase order which has been continually referenced. Photos have previously been provided. I reiterate - this is a pice of furniture that was defective when delivered. For over ten days we have a fully reclined lounge chair in the middle of our lounge that can’t be retracted. I have now lodged a complaint to our Consumer Complaints authority in Western Australia.

Don't buy – I recently purchased the Dream Elegance Bliss Double Mattress and was extremely disappointed. The mattress is incredibly thin and feels like you're lying directly on the springs. To make matters worse, the company's customer service has been shockingly poor. They refused to honor the warranty, and their responses were generic and unhelpful. Poor customer service – My partner and myself visited Amart Cannington to look for an outdoor setting. We found one we liked and pursued to buy this item. cover comes with the the setting as we had to buy the floor stock at a reduced price. Once the transaction was completed we were heading home and she told me that the cover didn't come with the setting because when they opened the carton it wasn't in there. I returned to the store to ask why the setting didn't come with the cover, and was told that "this is why it was reduced in price" This was not the case when we decided to buy this setting as we were told the price was reduced because it was floor stock and discontinued. I was talking to the sales lady on the counter stating this is bad advertising. The sales girl on the counter just said "Oh well" I was absolutely shocked by this response? I asked her again that customer service is everything and that i was disappointed that the setting was not complete. Again she said "Oh well" I said to her that is that the best you can say is "Oh well" She relied with the same comment again and walked off. Anyway we got our money back and left. My advice to this store is to maybe put your staff through some customer service training. I will never shop at Amart again from this experience. Good luck shoppers!!!!
Poor service and will never buy from these people poor quality – Do not buy a couch from amart they have a warranty system which leans towards them . Had an anti stain couch that had deteriorated due to a manufacturing defect . These imposters told me no we don’t agree . Show details
10 year warranty means nothing under "major defect" fine print – Purchased a $5000 lounge and the frame bent and collapsed after 6 months despite having a "10 year warranty" got told the lounge frame collapsing isn't a "major defect" and they have offered a repair only not a replacement I wonder what is a "major defect" if the frame itself isn't. Absolute joke of a company with no business ethics

Warranty Useless – Warranty an absolute joke. Bought two of the Bodhi Sun loungers. Within 8 weeks, seams have turned bright yellow and brown and yet after having them assessed twice, they advise that it is not a “manufacturing defect”. Would not recommend to my worst enemy – I’m giving one star because I have to. came damaged the first time to find it damaged AGAIN. But if there’s one thing I’ve learnt after dealing with this company, it’s that they don’t care. So I won’t do this- they already know what’s happened. But what I will do is warn anyone against shopping here. What I will do is warn you that your furniture is more likely to arrive damaged than intact and you’re more likely to find green corn than speak to a manager who wants to actually help.
Misleading Warranty Claims and Lack of Accountability at Amart Furniture – I am deeply disappointed and frustrated with my recent experience with Amart Furniture's warranty claim process. When I initially purchased the chairs, I specifically asked… Read more
the sales representative if pilling would be covered under the warranty. I was assured that it would be, and this was a significant factor in my decision to make the purchase. However, when I submitted my warranty claim, it was rejected without any valid explanation or justification.
The lack of accountability and transparency displayed by Amart Furniture is truly disheartening. It is clear that they have no intention of honoring their warranty promises and are willing to mislead customers to make a sale. This level of dishonesty is unacceptable and reflects poorly on their integrity as a company.
Furthermore, the customer service I received during this process was subpar. The representatives I spoke to were unhelpful and dismissive, offering no assistance or resolution to my concerns. It was evident that they had no interest in rectifying the situation or providing satisfactory customer service.
I strongly caution potential customers against placing their trust in Amart Furniture's warranty claims. They have proven themselves to be untrustworthy and unreliable, making false promises to secure sales and then refusing to honor those promises when issues arise.
In light of this disappointing experience, I urge individuals to consider alternative furniture retailers that prioritize customer satisfaction and uphold their warranty commitments. Amart Furniture's lack of accountability and misleading practices should not be rewarded with further business.
False advertising and misleading customer – I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Amart Furniture's customer service regarding a warranty claim for my chairs. and dissatisfied.
Firstly, the process of initiating the warranty claim was unnecessarily complicated. I had to jump through numerous hoops, providing extensive documentation and proof of purchase, only to be met with a lack of responsiveness from their customer service team. It took days of back-and-forth communication before any progress was made, which was already a red flag indicating their lack of commitment to customer satisfaction.
When I purchased the chairs , I was assured that the chairs would be replaced promptly should material shred.
To make matters worse, when I finally managed to speak to a supervisor, they seemed disinterested and unhelpful. They offered no explanation for the delay and showed no urgency in resolving the issue. It was evident that they had no regard for honoring their warranty promise or providing satisfactory customer service. Supervisor of Osborne Park store that has spoken with me on Sunday (26/11/23 around noon) is the worst supervisor I have dealt with in my entire life. Rudeness, disrespect and unprofessionalism of that person is just something I have never experienced before in my life. I urge customers- do not purchase anything from Amart Furniture and save yourself humiliation dealing with this unprofessional company that gives nothing but empty promises.
The lack of professionalism and accountability displayed by Amart Furniture throughout this entire ordeal is truly disheartening. Their failure to replace the chairs under the manufacturer warranty, despite promising to do so, is a clear indication of their disregard for customer satisfaction and their unwillingness to stand behind their products.
I strongly advise potential customers to think twice before purchasing from Amart Furniture. Their warranty promises are nothing more than empty words, and their customer service is abysmal. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment by seeking furniture options from more reliable and reputable retailers.

weeks away, but the next day they claimed all was there. So we took delivery of all items (Flatpack packaged). The first chair went together in accordance with the instructions. However, the "base to back" parts could not be assembled because the 40 mm screws just turned in their holes. Not wanting to continue with the next 7 chairs unless a replacement was available we tried to call the Store but gave up after 15-20 minutes with no answer. So we drove to the store (52 km return trip), only to be told we would have to submit a warranty claim. At that point, we insisted on a replacement, because the chair was defective, and one was found. But I cautioned the Store, we would be returning the lot and asking for a full refund if the same defect was found in the next one to be assembled. Sadly that was the case, and we asked them to send someone to pick the lot up and we wanted a refund. We were told a Manager would call us back. In the time we waited, I looked at the problem and ascertained that 14g x50mm "wafer head" Timber Screws (available from Bunnings) could be used instead of the 14gX40mm screws supplied. So I purchased the screws (costing $18.25) and found them to be a satisfactory "work-around" to the problem. When the Manager eventually did call us we had successfully completed several more chairs, and we were happy to share the "workaround details but were not happy about what had transpired. So we have been told the Store will reimburse us for the screws, and as a gesture of goodwill offered a $100.00 Store voucher. We think that falls far short of the dramas we were put through (I'm over 70 and not well, my wife is 4 years my junior). I write this review to alert customers to beware of Amart's "outdoor furniture" product coming from Vietnam and the hoops we had to jump through to actually get a replacement chair and eventually find a way to put this stuff together. While we are yet to be reimbursed or given any voucher this review should serve to alert customers "buyer beware". We are happy with the way our outdoor furniture now looks, "outdoor" Being the keyword because, it is not indoor quality stuff.
