I’ve never felt so uncomfortable in my life!
On the weekend I went into amart with my partner excited to look at some furniture for our new home. We told the guy we were just looking and weren’t moving out for a few months, he replied that’s okay we can hold it free of charge. They had some great deals on so we began to look around at things. 2 things caught our eye a package deal and a couch, we looked at doing it through zip pay and applied in store. We were scared we were rushing into the 3 grand couch so decided to stick with zip pay 3 grand limit and not get the couch. I told the guy...that I chose a 3 grand limit and he threw his hands up in the air and literally stormed off!!! I looked at my partner shocked and felt so uncomfortable, he then came back and kept questioning stating ‘why is the hell would you do that’ in my head there was no way we were buying from him and luckily the zip pay hadn’t cleared. We said we would come back another time and he nagged and nagged for a deposit! The guy was so lovely until it came to the money, my partner and I walked in there so excited and came out drained, disappointed and never wanting to go to another furniture shop again
What is going on
When to purchase a sofa and recliner on the weekend. Got a good deal for the staff when back after the weekend and they said they couldn't do it at that price because it wasn't busy that day. So u have to wait in the car till there busy to get a good deal!

I purchased 3 Chanelle tall boys
2 were damaged 2 replacements 1 damaged again damaged furniture
I don’t know what condition the second replacement is in. Pushing around 50+kg furniture and writing emails to get my money back is not good for my mental or physical health.
I cannot believe this is happening in 2020

Tried 3 times to pay online with a debit card for click & collect order but kept getting an error report. Emails from Amart said my bank would not honour the transaction. Called Cannington store and no problems, order taken and I could pay over the phone or pay on pick-up. On pick-up no problems paying with same debit card so i'm guessing the problem was with whomever Amart use online.
Really like the 8 x 46cm Rocket stools. Cheapest I found online for same thing and came well protected with wrapping.
Worst customer service
Spent over 15k in one shop... found out items were not even in stock so have to wait till January.. order was placed in October. Final payment took way longer then every other b pay payment which is odd and also made it fall out of our three day notice for our delivery deadline. Cheers for screwing us a mart! Worst customer service ever after purchasing! No communication! Will not be back!

Worst Customer Care support ever.
Worst customer care ever. Bought our first piece of furniture from this store and made them deliver. The dining table came with scratches and one of the chair had a structural damage, and the customer care don't seem to care when we called.

It was not smooth shopping experience. We bought two dining chairs from local store however failed to assemble them because it was difficult, and the store manager assembled them for us but refused to refund because she said there were no physical problems of this product. later at night, we discovered two screws poking out, making marts on the material, and causing physically harm to thighs while seated. We addressed the issue with Amart solution team and they managed to ask the local store to call us and give us a refund.
Pathetic After Sales Service
They just know how to sell. They doesn’t care after that. I bought a table from them which is defected when I opened and now store said you need to go through customer service department which is in Queensland. I bought in person from Osborne park didn’t book online so why now have to go through customer service over where people doesn’t have time to talk to customers. Moreover, I said send someone from your store to look at it they said we don’t have anyone to do home visit. Asked me to send pictures and then drop it to store and after few weeks go back to take it.
Nice staff, awful product
The staff in the store were great, however the product i bought, a tall chest of drawers, was awful. The top had the pre-drilled holes the wrong way around so there was an overhang on the back side instead of being flush, exposing raw wood, while still going together correctly. Also, the varnish is super fragile so it tore a piece off as i was putting the drawers in. product was hardly worth the $300 i paid for it. I won't be shopping with Amart again
Terrible and Humiliating experience at Amart - Osborne Park WA store
I had purchased bedroom suite on 13/7/2019 and paid $1170 cash to the manager Varun. Cash was counted by him and other of his assistant. I have fully paid invoice. I was happy to get all goods on Thursday as I was moving to new property.
However I got call from Varun (store manager) on 14/07/2019 that i piad $100 short and I have go back to store and pay that. I explained him money was counted by 2 staff and how is this possible. He said come and check camera footage.
We went and he showed me footage and in that footage i was not seen nor it...shows where I handed him cash. I asked him if there is any footage of location where it could be seen I handed him cash to confirm no cash by mistake was dropped. He said no other footage we have and got offended and aggressive . Easy way for him to get out of this situation was to give us refund, so he said take your refund we don't want to sell goods to you. I asked him to refund $1167 but he refused to pay and only paid $1067. Varun being store manager for Amart Osborne park he had no work ethics, no customer service. Because i didn't pick furniture and he was holding cash he had wrong attitude and asked us to call cops and do whatever i want to do. Because of his and staff carelessness I had suffer a loss of money, time and embarrassment. He was not apologetic for his carelessness and rude behaviour, instead he was blaming me that I paid him less money. He also called cops while me and my partner were in store however cops could not help on this matter. He made us feel like we robbed something from Amart store. I went back to resolve the issue but his and other staff behaviour was completely unethical. It seems like new scam in market. Beware guys if you pay cash ask this guys to count in front of you. As store manager make mistakes and Amart don't care about this. They just want you to believe what they say. Specially Varun and Amart store Osborne park . Completely frustrating and humiliating experience. I had bought so much furniture from them in past, they make u feel helpless.
Today I had occasion to return a piece of furniture that had broken on a joint.Without any hassles I was offered a refund or replacement.Much to my pleasant surprise.Most helpful manager
Terrible customer servicing.
Order not delivered as agreed and then told me I had to wait over the weekend - for my superking mattress. Meanwhile we had cleared our bedroom and had nothing to sleep on. Manager offered a single mattress which made no sense at all!!! Unimpressed as it took three calls before the manager would even talk to me and only did as I was ready to return all goods. I also purchased a dining suite however as I was so unhappy with my service I returned it - at my own cost as I didn’t want to have any other furniture from this company.
damaged furniture and terrible customer service!
Where do I start? Had some furniture delivered by two rude men, who were very rough with my furniture. When unpacking my furniture i noticed my chest of draws was so badly damaged and had obviously been dropped. I called amart and sent through photos to be told we will call you and be in contact again soon. No one contacted me by phone they sent me an email saying how often draws need a wall anchor to prevent toppling over and how i can buy one??? Trying to change the blame to me and saying they must have toppled over in my care! My draws are s...till half in the box as i didnt even take them out once seeing the damage!! I stated all this in an email and the best they can do is give me a 100 dollar discount to keep damaged draws! How rediculous the draws were $550! Or wait until the end of the month for an exchange (2 more weeks) i am in a new house and have been so inconvenienced by amart!!!! Also they cant deliver all your items at once so you have to wait around for items to arrive on different trucks!!! BEWARE! I spent alot of money there and have been so dissapointed with how this has been handled and how the blame was shifted to me- even though I am fault free!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!
Refusal to repair under warranty
1 Year old couch snapped 2 metal recliner arms and bent a 3rd. As we paid cash the company can't find the receipt in their computer system. Therefore won't provide a warranted claim given the product guarantee of 10 years.
Cheap products and will do anything to get out of paying for repair claims.
Not too impressed
Sale of 15-50% just to get the customers in. When you like something it's NOT AVAILABLE till the end of FEB in the O'CONNOR STORE ONLY. Buy it elsewhere and you have to pay EXTRA delivery costs. it stinks!!! Staff attitude not too nice. I won't go back Sorry !!!!

Poor quality of lounge from Amart furniture
I bought a lounge from Amart furniture on 27/12/2016. it is a leather look lounge with 5 years warranty. The sales person informed me that the product will not peel off for 5 years, and if it happens it will cover under the warranty.
I noticed that it started within less than 2 years to peel off and when I claimed for the warranty they offered me 300 dollars instead of warranty claim, I didn't agree that then they sent a person to do the assessment and stated that it was just normal wear and tear and they closed the claim which is not justifiable.
I felt very disappointed with the product quality and service.
NEVER RECOMMEND AMART FURNITURE!
Rip off " leather" lounge
Please check the so called leather lounge products these people sell as many of them are fake. Looks like leather
I am annoyed at the fact that I got conned into thinking I was buying Leather but got a venier , that flakes and is worthless.

I was extremely happy with the service and products I purchased from the Osborne Park store. The store manager was extremely helpful. I would highly recommend this store. The customer serve and product range is exceptional,
Faulty item….rude customer service
We bought two LOZ barstools from the Joondalup WA branch. We returned one as the fabric had come away from the seat and was given another in it's place. Upon opening the box this one was found to have also come away from the seat. I contacted Amart stating we no longer wanted either of them and would be returning both for a full refund. Upon returning them the young man that we dealt with was more than accommodating and we could not fault his customer service… he then had to show it to his Supervisor before processing our refund which is w...ere the rude behaviour came into it. The Supervisor (Not Australian lady…didn't catch her name) was extremely rude and said 'that's just the way they are'. When I told her we had a perfectly good one in the other box and would she like me to show it to her she completely ignored me and continued to say 'that's just how they are'. This person needs a lesson in customer service as her attitude towards customers stinks. The young lad went on to give us a full refund.
