particular product with low quality, get refund in the end though
It was not smooth shopping experience. We bought two dining chairs from local store however failed to assemble them because it was difficult, and the store manager assembled them for us but refused to refund because she said there were no physical problems of this product. later at night, we discovered two screws poking out, making marts on the material, and causing physically harm to thighs while seated. We addressed the issue with Amart solution team and they managed to ask the local store to call us and give us a refund.
Pathetic After Sales Service
They just know how to sell. They doesn’t care after that. I bought a table from them which is defected when I opened and now store said you need to go through customer service department which is in Queensland. I bought in person from Osborne park didn’t book online so why now have to go through customer service over where people doesn’t have time to talk to customers. Moreover, I said send someone from your store to look at it they said we don’t have anyone to do home visit. Asked me to send pictures and then drop it to store and after few weeks go back to take it.
Terrible and Humiliating experience at Amart - Osborne Park WA store
I had purchased bedroom suite on 13/7/2019 and paid $1170 cash to the manager Varun. Cash was counted by him and other of his assistant. I have fully paid invoice. I was happy to get all goods on Thursday as I was moving to new property.
However I got call from Varun (store manager) on 14/07/2019 that i piad $100 short and I have go back to store and pay that. I explained him money was counted by 2 staff and how is this possible. He said come and check camera footage.
We went and he showed me footage and in that footage i was not seen nor it...shows where I handed him cash. I asked him if there is any footage of location where it could be seen I handed him cash to confirm no cash by mistake was dropped. He said no other footage we have and got offended and aggressive . Easy way for him to get out of this situation was to give us refund, so he said take your refund we don't want to sell goods to you. I asked him to refund $1167 but he refused to pay and only paid $1067. Varun being store manager for Amart Osborne park he had no work ethics, no customer service. Because i didn't pick furniture and he was holding cash he had wrong attitude and asked us to call cops and do whatever i want to do. Because of his and staff carelessness I had suffer a loss of money, time and embarrassment. He was not apologetic for his carelessness and rude behaviour, instead he was blaming me that I paid him less money. He also called cops while me and my partner were in store however cops could not help on this matter. He made us feel like we robbed something from Amart store. I went back to resolve the issue but his and other staff behaviour was completely unethical. It seems like new scam in market. Beware guys if you pay cash ask this guys to count in front of you. As store manager make mistakes and Amart don't care about this. They just want you to believe what they say. Specially Varun and Amart store Osborne park . Completely frustrating and humiliating experience. I had bought so much furniture from them in past, they make u feel helpless.

I bought a two seater and a three seater couch. Was going to be delivered this afternoon. Called them yesterday and asked if they can tell me what time it will be. The girl contacted the transport and said between 1-3 pm. I organised everything then to be home . Last night got a text saying it would be between 1-7 pm.
This morning got another text saying it is betwen 11-1 pm.
And got a call from them at 10:30 that they are at my door.
The delivery is so disappointing. Still can’t say anything about the quality but based on the delivery I cannot expect good things
Worst service I’ve ever experienced
Purchased a saloon 2 seater recliner. I unpacked to see it was torn took over 8 weeks to have it replaced only after I complained
Then to receive a receive a replacement that didn’t even smell brand new and clearly been used or floor stock, it is definitely not new!
When I got my first couch it smelt new and clean this smells and the fabric doesn’t feel new! actually like it’s been used then cleaned
So disappointed in there customer service as well
Poor Customer Service
I made my purchase online for a Sofa bed on the Saturday and selected the store to collect from. I then had a voice message from the store to tell me the sofa bed will be in stock on the Thursday instead. I called back to confirm this. I asked if they could look around at other stores which i can collect from that weekend and the lady advised she will call back. Never heard back. So i waited until today (Thursday) phoned the Osborne Park store only to be told the order had been cancelled and re placed with Cannington and that i need to collect ...it from there. The lack of communication and customer service is appauling and i will never be shopping at this store or online again. Now i need to travel from Stirling to Cannington for a collection i could have got from Osborne Park.
Value for money buy assembly is challenging
Bought a TV stand complete with shelves and drawers. Functional and good looking but assembly was a massive job. The worst part was missing parts and the store didn't have any parts in stock. They said they will have the missing screws to is in a week or two. While we wait, the massive parts sit lying on the floor...

Paid $88 delivery for flat packed goods
I purchased a glass 8 seater outdoor table and chairs plus a wicker 5 seater lounge. They offered me the choice to have it delivered which I expected at a price of $87 but did not mention it would come flat packed and so my husband and son spent several hours putting chairs and table together. I was not impressed as after spending considerable amounts of money I expected the table to be put together. In addition to us having to assemble it the chairs are also wobbly as the legs are not all exactly the same size. Needless to say I will never shop at Amart again. So customers be aware that they don't tell you that you have to assemble items yourselves they just expect you to know that.
Very bad service bought sofa lounge extra warranty for leather.
Hi I had very bad experience with that store when I bought my lounge sofa they give me extra warranty card that cost me 250 dollar and said if something happened sofa they fix it even it cut by mistake or something else happend but when aftet one year my sofa colour off I submit my warranty claim but they send only their machances and then send me email they can't do any thing coz this happens by your mistakes if they can't do anything why they give me extra warranty in 250 dollar I am totally disappointed with this store nd service
You get what you pay for
We purchased a bonded leather modular sofa from Super Amart about 4 years ago. For the past 6 months the fabrics has literally been disintegrating before our eyes - worse in the areas we sit the most, but even on the sections which are hardly used. Has terrible sagging in parts as well which occurred a long time ago and getting worse. You certainly don't pay a lot a Super Amart but you do get what you pay for.... which is cheap rubbish. Thoroughly disappointed as I thought it would definitely last longer. I won't even be able to sell it or give it away now!!! I will be spending more on a lounge when we buy next and it won't be from Super Amart.
Poor communication and lack of service
Shocking service and miscommunication. Staff don't seem to know how their own processes work. Was told I would receive a call on the day of delivery to be advised when the item will be delivered.This never happened. When I tried to follow this up, I was given the run around by staff who didn't have a clue. Tried to get a refund of the item as per their website which says full refunds are offered with 7 days and before delivery, but they refused to uphold their own written customer service charter. Wasted a day and took leave from work waiting around for an item that wasn't delivered as promised. Definitely do not order anything from Super Amart that requires delivery unless you have ample amounts of time to be given the run around.
Seattle Lounge rip off!
Our 2 Seattle lounges are only 9 months old but already both are majorly squeaking/creaking (a common fault I understand), back support has snapped and have bad rippling with the fabric loose on both of them. I'm currently getting one of them fixed by the Leather Doctor, but since its under a year old I've decided to cut my ties. Id rather have a full refund since so much has gone wrong in the first year. I am waiting on a response from HQ and the store, but I thought I would let others know too. Would there be any reason not to grant me the re...fund? Its clearly a Major defect as I would never had knowingly bought these couches if I knew they were going to squeak and crack every time I sat down and clearly the store floor stock don't make these sounds so they obviously differ. The rippling of the material looks horrible and tired and makes the lounge look 10 years old. I went into the store today to compare and the Seattle on display looks fresh and neat as I hoped mine would look after 9 months...but I guess that was wishful thinking. Please be aware everyone. They may look good instore, but give them a few months and you'll be in trouble...
Terrible customer service and not taking responsibility of damaged lounge on after delivery
I have made numerous attempts to contact Super Amart Osborne Park managers and each time I get phone staff on the phone and the managers refuse to deal my issue and instead passing on the message to the phone staff.
I bought and got it delivered to my house a couple months ago.
Since the day of the delivery after unpacking I have noticed a small scuff mark on the leather of the chaise piece on my Maddox Lounge black leather and there are several white spots on the back cushion and the chase centre supporting foot and the corner piece suppor...
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
I purchased an outside chaise lounge from Super amart in January. They advised this was not in stock and would be in by May. I advised them this was fine as a was not in a rush for it. I received a phone call in March advising that the product was still out of stock and would be in by May, again I advised this was fine. I then received a call in April advising that the stock had come in early and was ready for collection. I then received another phone call a few days later advising the same, I advised I would arrange to collect the followi...ng week. I then received another phone call asking when I would be collecting. I advised I had book a trailer hire for the Saturday and would be down to collect. I drove 51 kms which took over an hour to get to the store to collect. I paid for the product in store and was asked to go to collections. I was left waiting outside collections 30 mins when the guy came out and advised me the product was discontinued and the only available one was the one in the showroom on display. I asked to speak to the manager as I had received three phone calls asking me to come and collect. He was very dismissive and very unhelpful in the way he spoke to me (a mere woman) he tried to walk past me to speak to my husband even thou I was the one dealing with the issue. He then said he would be able to get me one for the week after. After I told him I had drove over an hour to collect and had to hire a trailer. I told him I expected free delivery which he reluctantly agreed to. I then had to travel over an hour back home. Not only did I waste my Saturday morning driving round for nothing and the petrol it cost but also the hire of the trailer. How can I receive three calls advising the product was in stock and at the warehouse to be told this was discontinued and how was the manger going to find one for next week. This will be a wait and see game, if this is the last one available. I am in the process of building a new home and had already picked out new furniture from Super Amart to the total cost of $20,000 which I can now tell you I will not be spending.
"Genuine" Leather sofas lost their shape and are peeling
We bought a dining and living room package from super A-Mart which included bonded leather dining chairs but we substituted the bonded leather sofas for the more expensive genuine leather ones for over $2000. As advised by the store attended, these would last us longer that the bonded leather. Three years down the line the sofa's back rests have lost their shape, one of the sofa's leather is peeling off despite me using leather cleaners and protector bought from the same super A-mart! My dining room chairs have faired no better with the chairs leather also peeling.
No call backs
I went to super a mart to buy a mattress.
They really pushed their own brand but had no clues on the specs of other well known brands like sleepmaker etc.
The specials in the store were different from online specials, when confronted they just gave me a bogus answer. Their whole pricing made no sense. They could not explain the difference between a $1500 and $3000 mattress, which were the same brand and model.
I was told to pay a deposit to lock in the special and then I would receive a call back with the specifications I wanted. Never received the call back of course. How do they not have specifications on $1500+ mattressses?
Not going back here, the sales people and managers are a joke.
