Amazon continue to charge me a monthly fee on a closed seller account months after it was closed. Customer support won't help as it is a seller account issue. I can't directly contact seller support as my account is closed. The responses I do get say they can't do anything with a closed account. Obviously their billing system can. Amazon is getting too big and no one there cares. Their systems are byzantine and none of their staff have any incentive to solve a problem. They just mark cases as closed and their internal systems mark it us as another successful customer interaction.Show details
Item not delivered
Ordered PS5 on a bargain price 3 weeks ago, still haven't received. Got an email 2 days ago to let us know it will be late, then today it says will be delivered today. I checked on courier's website for tracking, it says the parcel was actually not ready for collection since 3 days after order was submitted.
Talked to multiple CS staff, got different response. 2 of them confirmed the PS5 Console is not available, the other 2 said they can't track the item. Multiple emails from Amazon CS replied the same message, they can't cancel the order and i have to wait until Dec 18th, which is not going to help since it is a christmas gift.
Shame on you Amazon!

Be aware with your bank card on Amazon we suffered a glitch that occured with Amazon and they charged our card over $1000 and now a month later we are still fighting to get our money back despite the fact that it was a error on their behalf.Not only have I had over 30 different conversations with the company about the money still owing but they have no option to even communicate directly with the accounts section and all you get is an email telling you they cannot assist you which is mind blowing.We trusted them with our card and they refuse to... Fantastic price, although it looked like it may be an import job. So I purchased one! A week later, no shipping date, and the unit still not shipped. I enquire: "Yes..... all good! As soon as we can we'll send it. I'll escalate you complaint". One week and one more inquiry.... ZERO response. NO order fullfilment, and ignoring requests for assistance. 2
Do not even go on their website. They debit your account without your approval.
I put an item in my cart but decided I didn’t want to purchase it as the shipping was too much but they still debited my account by $62.32 for an item which was advertised for US$15.97. I have been wasting my time for the last 3 weeks to get a refund! Worse customer service and same (generic) emails being sent constantly. At one stage they offered a refund of $17.00. What a joke. Now they have threatened me saying that I won’t get any refund unless I provide all of my personal details and ID. After reading their reviews I realise that I’m not the only one who has been scammed! Please do not have anything to do with them and delete all your personal info from them. Withings Product Warranty not honoured
Bought a Withings watch and it stopped working within the warranty period.
Spoke to Withings and they were happy to honour the warranty through Amazon. Amazon
flat out said no as it was outside their 3 months return period.
Amazon has no claim process so only buy items that are cheap and you dont want to return

Amazon sent out an email to review 2 products I had bought.
After sending 2 honest and polite reviews- one of which a 4 star the other 5 star I was threatened to have my account closed. They sent a link to there policy’s to which they said I was in violation off. This was in fact not the case at all. They themselves couldn’t and didn’t point to the actual breach I was accused of. Totally rude and unprofessional.
Placed an order, nothing for over a week and customer service indicate probably lost in transit but it never got sent. Just incompetent. Temu does better and that's saying a lot.
AMAZON need to wake up.
This is my second negative post about this aging and outdated company.
After being blocked out more than 13 times I had to open a NEW account.
The previous information held about me with Amazon was so wrong.
So, I had to waste another ONE HOUR setting up a new account.
At least the person on the phone at Amazon was patient.
Felt like we have been scammed with false advertisement ... initially
Bought several lower cost items along with a Samsung S23 plus phone during the Black Friday sale at a very good discounted price. All items arrived in the same box and on time. We opened the box and found out the mobile phone was swapped with a kids tablet. Contacted their customer services online and they could offer only a refund for the mobile phone. Felt like initially Amazon has advertised a very attractive low price for the mobile phone on their Black Friday sale just to attract customers and didnt intend to deliver the product but a refu... Read morend and hope that we are the only victim. I then contacted them over the phone, this time their staff is offering something different; a refund with a guarantee to purchase the same phone at the same reduced price we had paid for. The caveat being - return the kids tablet via Aust Post, wait for the full refund in 10 days, put in the new mobile phone purchase on Amazon again at full price, wait for its arrival, then contact Amazon for refunding the price difference. We are not sure if we will get the new phone on time before Christmas as I am still in the refund process. One thing for sure is we were not expecting a kids tablet as a Christmas present in the first place.
Amazon Prime membership with the free shipping is such great value. I’ve often been shocked that I’ve received an order less than 24hrs from ordering it. The quality of items purchased so far has been excellent. A couple of exceptions but Amazon were great and fully refunded our purchase (even 6 months after the item failed!). Is it normal that after six business days (currently) to receive absolutely no delivery estimate or any other communication besides the initial order confirmation email? Cannot even find any avenue on their website to enquire if there's a problem, this is the very first time I've attempted to purchase from Amazon and I'm really not accustomed to such unprofessionalism.
You aren't alone. When I last ordered from Amazon the estimated delivery was to be 10 days from the date of ordering for the "In Stock" item which I thought was reasonable and within my acceptable waiting time for expedited shipping . This increased to 17 days when I received the transaction receipt via email. My credit card was debited the day of the purchase and the tracking on the item shows it still hasn't shipped. So much for Amazon Prime membership which in my humble opinion is Jeff Bozo's way of printing money. AU$6.99 /month which amounts to nothing for the Customer. Of course they are going to make it as difficult as possible to complain about the service or more importantly the lack thereof. If Amazon is going to operate in Australia I think that they need to abide by Australian consumer legislation.
Update: Eventually I did find an avenue to contact Amazon, despite them hiding it away, weird choice, nevertheless the gist of their response was that even though the item was listed as 'in stock' it doesn't necessarily mean it is in stock (WTH?), so I promptly cancelled my order (they had not charged my CC yet) and made a different choice from another website, which shipped the next day and I had it that week, amazing! Not really, but compared to Amazon yes. As with all new sites to me I always consider the first buy a 'test purchase', they failed on every front, communication/customer service/timely/ease of use/etc, so I shall never try and buy from them again, not even as a last resort.
