I purchased two products on Amazon using my Aunt's Mastercard because she wanted to buy me something and also something for herself as well. Her item has been sent but mine had not. I got a call from someone this evening with a heavy accent on a very bad line mentioning Amazon and asking me for my address and mastercard details. I hung up thinking I was being scammed. About 15 minutes later I received an email from Amazon saying there is a problem with my account and I needed to verify my information. I logged on and they were asking me to send...a statement of my Aunt's mastercard which I don't have, to them for verification. I'm fairly sure my Aunt wouldn't agree to producing one either. I tried to email them through their app and I was unsuccessful. After writing and sending the email, surprise, surprise, it didn't go through. I ended up cancelling the order and my account with them is now frozen. Never have I had such an issue like this before. Back to Ebay for me as I can't use Amazon......

Misleading add on amazon

I purchased it for 764 and while I was waiting for shipment the seller send me they put the price wrong and want me to pay double the price 1600.
When I insist to just pay what I've paid with no extra cost they cancel my order. After my complain to amazon, the block me to even put seller review.
Be careful with you purchased from amazon, they don't protect the buyers.

Broken LED TV
I ordered a 65 inches LED tv from amazon. after a week, it arrived and the LED display was damaged from the top. when I complained to amazon for a quick replacement, they said that the required LED tv is out of stock and they can not provide me with any other LED tv. And when I asked for refund, they told me that it will take up to a month to get a refund in my account. And it has been more than three days since no one came to pick up the LED TV from amazon or Toll. I contacted Amazon again and they send the same email back to me which I receiv...ed 3 days ago for the return shipment. It is really disappointing that I have to wait for nearly a month to get my money back and then buy another LED tv from somewhere else. I don't want a refund, I want a replacement whether it is a LED tv of a different company. Amazon being such a reputable company can not offer me any sort of compensation other than 20 dollars off from my next order. it's really disappointing. I just want a 65 LED TV with a price which I have already paid to amazon.

Think twice before you buy on Amazon Au
Beware of third party sellers on Amazon.com.au. in month of Feb20 I have purchased Vava 4k projector for aud , seller created shipping label n vanished, item has not arried till date. Then we did contact with amazon, they helped me to refund full amount under AToZ policy. Second incident is again we purchased Fengmi4k projector, again seller vanished after amount credited to his account. Never bothered to reply any messages. Both prices were unbelievable and cheap. So this is the eyecatcher trap. Please DO NOT buy anything from thirdparty sellers which having especially no reviews or just launched. Fortunately monies have been covered under AtoZ policy. Time consuming process n stuck money in process. Buy at own risk

On the 10th March 2020 I placed my first amazon.com.au order. I’d been doing a lot of research trying to find bulk suppliers of household items.
My immune system is compromised and I really didn’t want to run the gauntlet of madness at the supermarket.
We are a family all with bad sinuses. I had a look at amazon.com.au and found a seller with bulk tissues at a good price. It said that it would be shipped in 6-10 days. Given these crazy times I accepted that and made my purchase.
On the 8th day after purchase I sent them a message asking woul...d it be much longer and didn’t give it another thought. As time went on I received no reply. Still not thinking too much into it I contacted amazon.com.au customer service. They said they’d send a note to the seller. Thinking they’d surely answer that. No they didn’t.
NO Guarantee on "A to Z Guarantee"
I ordered seven items at Amazon Australia since Jan 2020 till now, three items fulfilled by the third parties I ordered in Jan 2020 have never been received. I then ask for refunds. Two out of three of my requests for refund were denied; appealing to those decisions had also been denied. Amazon said "The Amazon A-to-z Guarantee protects you when you purchase items sold and fulfilled by a third-party seller"; but obviously it does not keep its promise! Now I am still dealing with Amazon Australia, chasing my money back. I will not buy anything from Amazon Australia again if it is fulfilled by third parties. The "A to Z Guarantee" is not what it promised. Very difficult to get a refund from Amazon.
Amazon cheating customers and refuse customer to leave one star review for customer
Seller gives misleading Advertisement, picture in ads shows a 50pcs/pack, ordered 4pack, received 40 pcs in total. ???? Query seller and seller accused of buyer had a behaviour? And blame buyer force seller to do wrong things. No option or solution from seller. Left one star review. But amazon refused to list it. Only one 5 star review is permitted by amazon.com.au for the seller. What a joke!See ya, amazon.com.au. You will be abandoned by the market sooner or later. Let’s see.
Amazon Australia Kindle Store- Massive Price Gouging!!!
This review is specifically for the Kindle Store on Amazon Australia. I don't buy physical products from this site (largely due to huge mark ups compared to their other stores), but I've been buying a lot of Kindle ebooks from them. Lately I've been looking at both new books and ones that have been out for a while, largely in the New Age/Occult section, and have noticed that many books are now exorbitant prices. For example one book that was previously around $15.00 is now $25.00. Another book is now $34.95 (authors previous books were all well...below $20, now all have gone up). Until recently, if you wanted to read all the reviews from Amazon America it would open a new page for that site. Now it just lets you keep loading more reviews from America on the Australian page. I got suspicious about this and looked at the American site to compare prices. Most of the books are less than half the price charged on the Australian site. Kindle books that are $24.95 on Amazon Australia are selling for $9.99 or $11.99 on Amazon America. This level of price gouging is disgusting and is stopping me from buying more books. Be warned.
Never again. They some how debited an account I have never provided
Bought 1 item, ticked the 30 days free amazon prime trial. Worse mistake ever. Got charged the full annual fee on my credit card . After I have cancelled the prime account they all of a sudden started debiting a monthly fee from from a savings account I have never provided to them. So scary that they are debiting from accounts which was never provided to them. I spent an hour on the phone to various teams and at the end was a total waste of time. All this because I bought something from them & got lured into trying a service which is now cancelled and now my accounts are hacked.
No Idea what they are doing.

8 hours later, email informs me order was cancelled.
Web chatted with "Customer Service". Apparently declined.
Looked at online banking - nope all good.
No was definitely declined.
Nope all good. Transaction was approved and money removed.
Customer service says my bank and I are wrong....
Goods ordered from Amazon Australia not sent from Australia
I did 2 orders with Amazon Australia in the belief I was ordering items sold in Australia. But when I got my Tracking info telling me the little things I had ordered would take a month to arrive I was dumbfounded. I then found out that these goods were coming from China and from the UK!!!!! Very misleading as I thought Amazon had that massive warehouse here in Australia . I would not have made these orders if I knew.
I ordered similar stuff from CATCH. Com and got them In 3 days with constant Texting from Australia Post about how far parcel was from delivery. Will NEVER use Amazon again!

Never received items
I have over a 6 month period purchased from amazon Australia on several occasions. I have had three items not turn up to date and one not delivered but refunded by amazon with no prompting and for no apparent reason. They are absolutely useless. Previously purchased with amazon.com without an issue.
Unprofessional and poor customer service.
Amazon gave me the opportunity to leave a review on their site and they assessed it, realised that it wasn't a glowing review, then decided to not allow it to be published.
I purchased an item from them and received updates every 4 days with tracking details and telling me that my item was close. Almost 4 weeks passed and nothing. When I contacted them, no response at all. Finally I'd had enough and sent them a last email insisting that they tell me my items whereabouts. They simply replied "sorry here is a refund'. No explanation. I didn't wa...nt a refund, I wanted the item that they had assured me was on its way with their tracking information. Nobody was available to speak to or would reply to my messages. They blocked my review because it was honest and I realised that only favourable reviews are passed. That's not honesty at all. What a scam this company is. Needless to say that I won't be purchasing from the Amazon platform again. Highly disappointed.
Completely wrong item delivered!!
I ordered a full-size Leifheit ironing board for $130. But was delivered a Sunbeam tabletop ironing board which is 2/3 the size and costs only $44 !!!
Now I must return it AT MY OWN COST and they will refund to my credit card in a couple of weeks!

Delivery service is worst I have experienced
My first and last experience with Amazon. I wish I had read the reviews first. My parcel arrived while I was away and was not sent an sms or email to give me and option as to where leave parcel if I was not home. It was clearly just thrown over the fence and then was in heavy rain for 24hours. Not only was the box badly damaged but contents as well. I contacted seller as Amazon suggests on their site but have not received any response. Stick to Australian sites, just not worth the stress.
A fast and positive response to a refund request
I bought hair clipper set from Amazon Australia and surprisingly it arrived from USA 110 volts and USA plug, totally useless in Australia. I got refund paper work and prepared to send the article back but the label US Post required meant no post office in Australia would accept the item. When I complained and explained the circumstances a refund took 3 hours to process and there was no need to send the goods back.
Free shipping scam
I bought Amazon prime and with that the books that qualified for free delivery dried up, I cancelled and now all the books seem to qualify, I just ordered 3 books spent over the required amount to receive free shipping, an email the following day says my payment was declined? I reorder and now am required to pay for shipping
Comparing with WWS, so excellent
This week I placed one order with WWS, the other with Amazon.
I was on the way to WWS to pick up my order just less than 1 hour before the actual pick up time, I got email my order was cancelled. I went back home spending more than 1 hour with WWS because WWS wanted to refund me with their online credit only valid for 1 year, while I paid with other payment method that has much longer expiration time. More ridiculously is that I was told by my friends the WWS store (I was going to pick up my order) has plenty stock for the items I ordered.
The order, I placed with Amazon, shipped fast, packed well. I noticed a minor issue contacted Amazon, the service is excellent, I got refund with no issue.

I have been trying to return an item through amazon.com.au since 19th February 2020. To date I have received 10 generic emails from the seller and not one of them has addressed my question on how to return the item and arrange a refund. I have contacted amazon.com.au via their contact us link on their website and via email and no one has been able to resolve my issue for me. I mean how hard is it provide me with a return address and provide a refund. I am very disappointed in amazon.com.au's customer service

I want to know why you won’t cancel my order 249-7859597-7567041 which I placed on amazon.com.au and to date had not been shipped. Check all of the correspondence I forwarded to you and the mountain of chat transcript. I’ve messaged the seller as you have and nothing. I would also like to know why are you still allowing this seller to trade? Is it Amazon policy to allow sellers to offer goods with no intention of ever sending them. Please cancel my order so I can delete my account. I’ll never purchase from any Amazon platform again.
Can anyone suggest me, i have ordered a foundation. Everyday they are saying expecting this day, that day and now they are saying product is lost. There is no number you can contract with the seller only through email but they are not responding. Anyone know what should i do now?
