bought the best product on the market but nothing worked. So I called in the carpet specialists that had originally laid my carpet about 5 years ago - they came in and measured the room and within a week they sent some identical twins out to lay it - they were so professional and polite and didn't complain at all about my naughty pets and the carpet is a success. Andersen's Stafford detailed quote. The tradesman was a lovely young man named Sam. He was absolutely delightful and fortunately for me he was earlier than expected which was great. Sam confirmed what Terry had explained and set to work. His attention to detail was just second to none and as he had encounted no unforeseen issues with the prep work managed to have the entire job completed in two days and allowed myself and a couple of friends to start cleaning and moving my furniture back to the original places. Sam also went above and beyond by helping to put my beds back into the rooms and one of the beds was an electric bed which was extremely heavy. loop pile as we don't like the 'footprint effect' on our carpets. So far we are very happy with this selection and are very grateful to the excellent service from Russell at Andersens Browns Plains and the great team of carpet layers who did a great job - especially building the carpet height up to match our timber hallway floors. The carpet is well fitted, layed in the correct direction with pile consideration and there was no wastage. This carpet was not regularly stocked in store but Russel brought it in especially for us, was great in providing take-home samples and charged us a competitive price. We really appreciated the patience, great communication and skills shown by this business team and would highly recommend them to others.

Failure of follow through at quote stage – Went to the store to get a quote. Everyone was friendly enough. Arranged time to come out and do a quote for a 2 bedroom apartment. Great at acquiring business, poor tradesmen etiquette and post-sales service – I was extremely disappointed and inconvenienced by the vinyl floor installation service from Andersen's. They came out on Tuesday to start my job but left at 5 PM, with the job unfinished, mentioning they'd come back the next day to finish. go to the pub." If this is true, it is beyond disappointing. On Wednesday morning, I received a call saying the installers took on a different job that day, so they'd have to finish mine on Thursday. This was a slight inconvenience as the furniture needed to be restored in place—they originally mentioned it would be a one-day job.
On Thursday, I received yet another call saying that the installers wanted to finish the job they started on Wednesday, so they'd head out to finish mine on Friday. It made no sense that the installers prioritised finishing another job they started the next day over completing mine, which was also left unfinished. I thought this whole ordeal was completely unprofessional.
I went with Andersen's despite them not being the cheapest because of the good service from [Name Removed] during the quoting process. Although the workmanship was satisfactory, the overall experience was far from satisfactory. Even after mentioning my displeasure with the installers to [Name Removed] via email, I never received any response.
I'd love to recommend Andersen's Browns Plains, but based on the service I received from the installers and post-sale, I can't.
