Hello. Yes, the sensor pad sits under the mattress on a piece of 6mm ply wood for stability. Hope this helps.

AC1100 problem: After the green light on the baby unit turned red, we have changed the batteries. We put regular AAA batteries. After the change everything was fine for one day. Since then when we turn the baby unit on, the green light turns red after like 5 seconds and in 1 minute the unit turns off. We have changed the batteries again, same happens. Any idea of what can be wrong?
Hi Gabor. It sounds like its the power adaptor. The power adaptor for the parent unit is the same. Please take the power adaptor from the parent unit and plug it into the nursery unit. If this rectifies the issue please contact me on (03) 9581 8034 to organize a replacement power cord

I have a Angel Care AC1100 unit, we are connecting again with new baby arriving next week.
The parent unit, we can hear everyting, but no screen.
The parent screen (touch screen) is black, not able to do any selections or to see the camera (to see baby), it seems that we are only able to hear.
What can we do to get the touch screen back on?

I have the sound monitor on the highest sensitivity setting but it doesn’t pick up all the noises such as pre cry, it only picks up when bub is in a full blown cry. I would prefer to get to him before that stage. Also I want to know when he is awake in the mornings when he is babbling so I can get up and feed him!
How do I make this even more sensitive?

I have the AC1100, the unit is working fine, it has video and audio and the pad detects the breathing, but I noticed that the IR light turns on and off every 10 seconds, is that the regular behave or my unit is defective? Thanks
Hi, The on & off switch on the side of the parent unit does not work, so I can’t switch it on or off. The screen now also doesnt work and only does when it is charging and plugged in. Any help please?

I used the monitor earlier with the sensor pads and it was fine. I’ve come to use it tonight and the sensor pad is not picking up any movement at all. The pendulum icon is static even when I run my hand over the mattress as suggested. Baby is in the cot and breathing fine yet it’s sill not picking anything up. Any help?

My baby unit today has made random beeping noises.
So far it has been a single beep, like the same as the warning beep, but then no alarm afterwards, this has happened 3 times today and only emits of the baby unit. Cant hear the beep on the parent unit? Any ideas?

My AC1100 has been working for 2 years and few days back the connection was lost. We reconnected it per the instruction manuel but after few days it happened again. I tried to reconnect it again but after holding the talk button and press then release the power button, instead of displaying the cam the screen shows a 3 arrows fast forward sign and stuck there for minutes before it’s gone. Tried multiple times but same happened. How can I resolve this?
