It's been a week and no change. Not worth booking through 3rd party. Never again aunt betty will i give you my business. I'm going to post every where what a shit company you are!!!!!!!!

our other connecting flights without any issue. The only reason we could not receive this refund directly from ANA was that we booked through Aunt Betty for this specifoc flight.

What followed was seven days of obstruction. I called more than ten times, often several times a day, and every call began from zero. Aunt Betty's notes on my file were never updated, so I had to repeat the entire story to each new agent. It was clear that the file was not being read.

Worse, on two separate occasions, two different operators ended the call with a "hello, I can't hear you" the moment I asked to be put through to a supervisor. The pattern speaks for itself: both calls dropped at the exact moment I requested escalation, and no one called back. I was never given access to a supervisor in seven days.

At no point did Aunt Betty cite an ANA policy as the reason for refusing. They couldn't, because ANA's policy supports the refund. This was Aunt Betty's own decision. Aunt Betty simply ran out the clock, then told me it was too late because the flight departs tomorrow. To me, this looks like a business more interested in keeping your money than in honouring the airline's policy or treating customers fairly.

When the airline says yes and the agent says no, you learn who you can trust. Aunt Betty blocks refunds that the airline has already approved, stalls rather than escalates, and offers no accountability when plans change.

My advice: Do not book with Aunt Betty. Book directly with the airline, where changes and refunds are handled by the people who set the policy, or choose an agent with a track record of actually helping customers. I will never use them again, and I urge you not to either.

We had an unused return flight with ANA. Even with a typhoon affecting travel plans, ANA reviewed the situation and confirmed the flight was refund‑eligible. Aunt Betty refused to pass the refund on, despite the airline approving it. Their refusal wasn’t based on ANA’s policy; it was entirely their own decision. They stalled, avoided escalation, and tried to wait us out.

When the airline says “yes” but the agent says “no,” you learn quickly who you can trust. Aunt Betty blocks refunds even when the airline is willing to give them. Book directly with airlines or choose a more reliable agent. Please avoid booking through Aunt Betty and go directly through the airline to avoid any issues due to changes for any reason. They do not accommodate any changes, do not care for your safety and security and actively work against the airlines policies.

takes 12 weeks or more for refunds. It has been more than 23 weeks now & I am still waiting for my refund. I have called a few times, sent many emails to follow up & multiple formal complaints, but still no refund. Aunt Betty team has stopped responding to my follow up emails for the formal complaint. Aunt Betty's lack of communication and unacceptable refunds process has been extremely frustrating. I would urge anyone to be cautious when booking through Aunt Betty.

Mufiz was able to retrieve my booking and gave me options to rebook a flight which was rescheduled. Still don't know about getting airline approval! but hope for the best with his assistance.

Just booked trip through Aunty Betty - it was easy and simple. And after the booking was complete I had a question so was put through to Customer Service online - Dana. She was fabulous and got me the info I needed very quickly. So far, so good!! A few weeks later I had a new passport so needed to update - went online to chat and, though I had to wait 20minutes, Francis was super quick and helpful - all done. So far, so good!

wrote an email and never got a response. I tried calling them and had to wait 2 hours for someone to answer; in the middle of the conversation, they put me on hold, and the call was mysteriously ended. I called again and had to wait another 3 hours for someone to respond. In the end, they emailed me a quote to change the flights, and the price was actually higher than buying a new flight. I emailed them back asking why and never, ever got a response. In the end, I managed to sign up with the actual airline's website and got to do the change on my own with ZERO cost, as some of my flights were rescheduled by the airline, so I was entitled to change the flight dates with no extra cost. Aunt Betty, acting as my agent, didn't inform me at all that I could change my flights after the airline rescheduled, and on top of that, wanted to charge me for a new ticket. Also, Aunt Betty did not have any info on my carry-on luggage for my flights, which I found out was much more than the 7kg normally allowed! And after I changed the dates of my flights, I lost the extra legroom seats I purchased. After waiting for another 3 hours on the phone, I got the response that Aunt Betty uses a third-party company when you purchase the seats with them and that they could not offer a refund or reallocate them to the new flights. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL! They are useless. Never again for me!

insisted that this was the airlines rules. So I called the airline while I was on the chat and the airline changed it in 15 minutes for $70. Wont be using Aunt Betty again.

Paid for seats and didn't get them, contacted and got a ticket raised. Then nothing. Online chats don't get answered then closed. Not biggest concern of course but does make me glad it was not about issues with flights overseas.

Viel made what had been a confusing refund process much easier to understand. She was friendly, professional and knew exactly how to guide me through the next steps. Long time waiting on chats to get an agent allocated for the conversation. Support is good. However, I've been told to refer to the airline itself to get some questions answered. Hope no issues happen, as my flight is still 2 months away.
