The technician was on time, Polite, quick, yet methodical. He cleaned up after himself, He listned well and understood tall he customers needs - I encountered No problems. I did read all the required information beforehand, so i kind of knew what was going to happen on the install date. Show details ·  1

After being with starlink for years due to crappy NBN connections, I was advised to go fibre. I have heard amazing things about aussie broadband from friends, and their changeover was free so I signed up. NBN technicial took 5 hours to install and didnt have to dig anything up at all, still no charge I was gobsmacked it was that easy. Straight… Read more

away did a speed test and and I'm pulling 1000 no problem even in peak times. AB is so easy to deal with and upfront, the account online is super easy to use. all this and it's still cheaper than my starlink!!!

Polite support but that means nothing when the service offered is so inefficient. My history with this provider (all documented): I was planning to move into a new house on 19 February, so on 11 February I placed an order and paid for the connection… Read more

of a new house + first month (specifying 19 February as the earliest connection date). On 12 February, I contacted live chat to ask when the technician was coming to connect us – and the support person explained that the earliest connection date means that ‘your order will only be submitted … by 19th Feb and an appointment will be booked after’. That seemed rather strange, so I asked to remove the earliest connection date limitation. I breathed a sigh of relief – good that I decided to contact support! The same live chat person then told me to wait for another full four days for an update with an appointed. I waited four days – nothing. So on 17 February I contacted the same online live support to check what was going on – and my connection was instantly booked on the 24th! I asked why nothing had been done earlier – no explanation. If an online chat person can book my connection on the spot, why not do this back on the 12th – when I first called (or at least during the period I had to wait)? Nothing. I called the connections team immediately. 39 minutes on the call (mostly listening to music) – no explanation, only repeating that at this point they cannot book me for anything earlier than 24 February. Utter disappointment at the complete lack of any promised action without pressing the provider. The best part? Minutes later I received a confirmation that my house would be connected only on 25 February – i.e., one day later than the day given just minutes before! Not sure if this was done out of spite – I certainly hope not. But I am really disappointed. After so many positive reviews online, I had hoped this would be a more expensive, but reliable provider – yet only the former seems to be true. As for positives, the support staff on the call was polite. But without internet, it does not really matter, does it? I will be switching provider – after all, it seems Aussie Broadband only started acting on my order just now.

Follow-up  · I am finally connected and bump my rating up due to the efforts of the support and complaints teams - particularly Jack, who was incredibly helpful throughout and organised a wireless SIM internet option as a temporary solution. I cannot give full stars due to the delays involved (I was only connected on 20 March), but I must acknowledge that some… Read more

I’ve moved on from Aussie Broadband after a significant decline in quality over the last three years. I was paying for full service but receiving less than a third of the speed, and getting a technician out was a nightmare. They dragged out the troubleshooting process for three weeks with endless repetitive tests. Since switching to Leaptel, I… Read more

Ever since I signed up to Aussie Broadband for NBN, my internet has been constantly dropping out. I reached out to their customer support, which usually takes hours to be in queue, raised the fault ,and now it's been 3 days since our internet has been broken. On a separate side, I also ordered a SIM card along with my NBN, which arrived after 10… Read more

days ( a real "Aussie" experience), and I tried to activate it using their extremely broken activation journey that constantly forces you to start over and fill out the form over and over again. Finally, I submitted the form, then received a message saying activation failed. Tried to activate again, since the first went ended up in a failure state, the SIM card can no longer be activated, haha. When I contacted them again, they said their support team is offline since it's passed 5 pm ( a real 24/7 support, as advertised ).

Now, I'm left with no SIM card A broken home NBN plan A support system that wastes hours of your time with "Sorry, our support team is busy, here's some music for you while you're waiting".

You guys are worse than TPG How the f... do you win awards? I guess the sh..t.ier the company, the more national awards they win

Relocated from Melbourne to Cairns. Everything was organised after one call before leaving Melbourne residence. They worked with NBN Co to upgrade old copper connection to FTTP. We moved in Friday and had NBN 1000/100 up and running by Saturday. NBN contractors were also excellent. Show details ·  1

Been with ABB for awhile, using their NBN & mobile service. For the most part its been good & hardly any issues. Recently we was having issues with slow speed most likely due to the outage & service maintenance every few days, it took a few days to fix the speed issue & the customer service on the phone did an awesome job explaining step by step how to fix the internet connection problem that kept cut out. Show details ·  1

Disappointing. Unfortunately over the last few months my HFC connection has became unstable with multiple drop outs and connection issues. A nightmare for someone who works from a home office 6 days a week. Aussiebroadband turns a blind eye and aren't as helpful as they once were. Show details

We have had one drop out that lasted a few hours but only because we didn't try to recycle the modem. But other wise we are loving the speed, I can have my whole family on line at the same time and no one is complaining of lag or they can't stay on ( get kicked off in the middle of a movie ECT) as far as we are concerned the best move we ever made… Read more ·  1

was too Aussie Broadband, life is as peaceful as it can get in a family of five online gamers. Our speed test I believe at its lowest was a 98 Mbps for download and a 27 Mbps for upload which probably sounds low but seeing as we were getting only 56 Mbps download 14 Mbps for upload at its fastest with old provider Right this minute at 3 am we are getting 133.5 Mbps download and 38.0 Mbps upload and yes at least two people are online., I'm not sure my photo worked so sorry if it doesn't

Started my application on Saturday morning at 8am, my line was migrated and up and running by 10am. Getting my actual line speed which my prior telco (who had kindly leaked my personal details previously) couldn't get right. Added bonus I can use my router of choice (Netgear RS600) without it being hobbled by some overpriced locked down telco router and having to deal with double NAT issues Show details ·  1
