Fantastic communication from Aussie Broadband. The guy who installed was professional and discussed everything before starting. Did a clean install. Showed me both photos and each box installed. Cannot fault any of it. NBN has been faster without dropouts. Will be recommending. Show details ·  1

Set up super easy. Products work as described. A little surprised that I had to cancel my previous ISP. Whenever I have changed provider the transfer and cancellation was handled by the new ISP. Very happy overall Show details ·  1

Swapped several years ago to AussieBB after very poor experience with Telstra. The support team at Aussiebroadband are consistently helpful and friendly. We recently swapped to NBN to the house and support staff talked us through the set up in the house - clearly and patiently. Would highly recommend them as providers! Show details ·  1

Aussie Broadband service was excellent. Had communicated with them twice before taking the plunge to join them. The consultants were not hard selling and it was just comfortable dealing with Aussie Broadband. Was informed about the Black Friday sales and to wait for them. Decided to join the 100/20 speed as it was cheaper than the 50/20 speed, at… Read more ·  1

least for 6 months anyway. The 50/20 speed is more expensive than with other ISPs but you pay for the excellent service and it’s well worth it. We received the modem yesterday. It took all of 5 minutes to set it up. We are getting a faster speed than with our previous ISP, possibly due to the TP-Link modem that was supplied 2 years ago. The Aussie Broadband modem is a Netcomm one. It was just plug and play and scan the QR code to get the wifi going. We have hard wired the main computers to the modem router and we are getting a speed of 47mbps. Our maximum line speed is 50. Upload speed is still limited to under 8mbps. We might have to change to a Cat 6a cable rather than the Cat 5 cables that we had. Two Cat 5e cables were supplied in the box as well as the cable for the DSL line. The wifi speed is a little less at about 36-42mbps but much better than the 25-35mbps speed that we were getting with the previous ISP. The Aussie Broadband app is simple to use and a mine full of information. I would recommend Aussie Broadband to anyone who would like a first class service.

The internet is fast and now even faster. I’ve had no drop outs since I went FTP and works perfect with my Google nest. My only gripe is it’s expensive compared to others but it may be the superior service. Always had good tech support too. Show details ·  1

Aussie Broadband supplied me with Mobile Phone and Data for a couple of years and I found them to be excellent. I subsequently ordered NBN Fibre to the Home through them. The installation by NBN Co was carried out as promised, the router supplied by Aussie Broadband connected immediately and my connection has been going continuously ever since with speeds exactly as promised. Show details ·  1

They portray themself as a reliable internet provider. Never dealt with anything worse. The service never worked, no accountability. All they do is try to sell you their modem. Tried that, didn’t work. Dentist back and they even charged me with postage. Went to TIO and it’s been a battle for months of them taking our money without a resolution. All we got was a $15 refund is postage for the modem. Shame on them Show details

I was experiencing periodic dropouts which were proving very difficult to identify. The problem was eventually put down to the modem. A loan modem was sent so thorough testing could be done over an extended period. Your staff were both very knowledgeable and patient and clearly would not give up until all was resolved. Show details ·  2

Follow-up  · The cause is still not known. I still get periodic dropouts. The loan modem works much better than the original. In addition, I also get problems of conflicts with my security and solar systems which I am unable to resolve. I suspect hard wiring may be the only solution. As I am planning to relocate to another home in the foreseeable future I will live with the problems and hope the new home will prove easier to connect

I am happy with my NBN to the premises. But had trouble trying to connect an eero6+ Router. I had help from the service tech but in the end had to revert to the old modem. I did get a return label to post the modem back to Aussie Broadband for a credit. The problem was due to the Inverter WiFi system not being compatible with the eero6+ Show details ·  1

Follow-up  · I changed the router and everything is perfect now. Aussie Broadband customer service was excellent.

After Telstra failed to fix an NBN fault for 6 days I signed up with Aussie. It took a touch over 24 hrs for the fault to be fixed by an NBN technician. Can’t get better service than that! Show details ·  1

Follow-up  · Since my change from Telstra to Aussie Broadband my internet problems have completly disappeared. I also transfered my phone account to receive a futher rate discount. Now I'm getting a 500GB service with the current NBN upgrade. The best thing is that if you have any issues you can ring up and speak to a person, not some dumb computer.

If you're weighing whether to sign up with Aussie Broadband, you should be alarmed by the company's outright evasiveness on a fundamental privacy issue—particularly ironic given their self-proclaimed status as “most trusted”. Their public privacy policy appears to deliberately omit any clear answers about URL logging. When a direct email was sent… Read more

to the privacy team asking if URLs are logged, the initial reply came from a customer‑service employee who claimed they don’t log your URLs. That statement was offered without any supporting evidence—no official policy or statement, no audit reports, no technical description—just a baseless claim.

When pressed for proof, the employee could not produce a single piece of relevant documentation and abruptly stopped responding once the inconsistency was highlighted.

Further attempts to get clarification from other staff members led to no answer.

Employees were reminded that the Australian Privacy Laws obligate any organisation to disclose what personal information it collects and why. None of them engaged with that legal requirement; instead, they either ignored the request or gave generic, non‑committal answers. This pattern of stone‑walling mirrors a broader, troubling strategy: when a question threatens to expose a possible ethical or legal gap, the company simply refuses to engage, allowing the ambiguity to persist.

The stark contrast between this silence on privacy and the relatively prompt replies to billing queries underscores how low a priority the company places on disclosure about user data.

When I reached out to the official privacy contact that multiple employees mentioned, Aussie Broadband gave no response.

If URLs are indeed being logged, the lack of transparency means you could be subjected to undisclosed profiling, targeted advertising, or data sharing with third parties—all without informed consent and it seems, in breach of Australian law.

While the company maintains its official B Corp certification—ostensibly demonstrating ethical standards—it demonstrates a complete disregard for ethical alignment in this particular matter. This suggests the certification functions merely as a meaningless sticker, serving as performative ethics rather than reflecting any genuine commitment to ethical business practices. In fact, my experience with the company seems to suggest moral decay.

For shoppers who care about digital privacy, this conduct should be a decisive red flag. Until Aussie Broadband provides a verifiable, written statement confirming that no URL logging occurs—and backs that claim with concrete evidence—their privacy practices remain suspect.

Consider alternative providers that publish clear data‑handling policies and respond responsibly to privacy inquiries. If you still contemplate using Aussie Broadband, keep detailed records of all correspondence; those will be essential if you need to lodge a formal complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

In short, the company’s baseless denial, refusal to supply proof, and overall avoidance of legal disclosure requirements reveal a disturbing willingness to conceal answers from the public and it should give any privacy‑concerned consumer serious cause for concern.

From the get go, it was completely refreshing to talk to a telecommunications sales team based ENTIRELY WITHIN AUSTRALIA! your identity, and are keen to get you connected ASAP.

What I loved most about the sales process was their handling of providing us with a replacement NCD box (FTTC here) and modem shipped together.

Their MyAussie app features a simple easy to use interface that provides only relevant details for our connection. We were able to get connected within 3 to 5 days.

They carefully guided us through the best connection deal for our FTTC arrangement and also a great introduction to free Fibre to the Premises connection in case we want the upgrade to even faster speeds in the near future.

100Mbps is more than adequate for us to stay connected, and unlimited data is more than suitable for occasional work from home and of course everyone's favourite, entertainment streaming speeds and 4k

We favour Aussie Broadband as a teleco for Australians, based in Australia. That alone deserves 5 stars out of 5 from us.

I had been without internet/landline since Thursday 26 Feb after a huge electrical storm hit Perth. My previous internet provider ‘dilly dallied’ with getting my NBN re-connected. Bad experience. Ordered 100/20 internet service online and purchased a modem outright. The website advised the modem would be delivered within one week. Eventually after two weeks the modem was delivered.… Read more

It was delivered to my billing address in Sydney instead of my service address in Townsville. I rung the company and was advised it was my fault as I gave my billing address as Sydney. I had no apology and no offer to rectify the problem. I was told that I would have to sort out transport to Townsville. In the meantime they are going to charge me for using the broadband service. If I stop the service I would have to call back to restart it and spend another hour of my time organising the restart. So much for giving the local Aussie doer a go.

Poor customer service. Would be on hold for over 30 minutes with no answer. Technical support was never helpful, would always be in the too hard basket, would never be able to stream anything or use more than 1 device, despite what level plan I was paying for. technical issues when NBN team came out (new box required) were told no changes by Aussie to wiring (if old box useable) but NBN says they cannot ! and will not utilise old box or wiring as they are not authorised/as not their equipment.
