I looked at the Seniors offer from Aussie and am disgusted. They offer 11mbps - yes 11 - for $55. 100mbps is $95. Firstly, why is 11mbps considered appropriate for anyone - but especially seniors? Secondly, how is this pricing in any way fair or reasonable? 11mbps for $55 - 100mbps for $95? I'm disgusted that Aussie thinks treating Seniors in this way is OK. I've asked them 5 times now to explain it to me and they refuse.

Disappointed by Unprofessionalism at Aussie Broadband – I recently had an extremely unpleasant encounter with a manager at Aussie Broadband that left me feeling frustrated and disrespected. Despite reaching out for assistance regarding a potential issue with my service, the manager's demeanor was condescending and rude from the get-go. Not only did they speak rapidly, making it difficult for me to… Read more

follow, but they also inundated me with technical terms without providing any context or explanation. As a customer seeking assistance, I expected patience and clarity, neither of which was provided.

To exacerbate matters, the manager chose to belabor a trivial $15 postage fee instead of addressing my legitimate concerns. Rather than empathizing with my predicament – not having the necessary cable to troubleshoot the issue myself – they opted to wield the terms and conditions as a shield, disregarding the principle of customer service.

In essence, my experience with the Aussie Broadband manager was not only disappointing but also indicative of a lack of professionalism and empathy. Customers should feel valued and supported, especially when seeking assistance with technical matters. Sadly, my encounter fell far short of these expectations, leaving me contemplating whether Aussie Broadband truly values its customers' satisfaction.

Aussie Broadband NBN – A Wonderful Experience Aussie Broadband has truly set the benchmark for what an internet service provider should be in Australia. From the moment of sign-up through to daily use, the experience is smooth, reliable, and refreshingly personal. One of the standout qualities is their exceptional customer service. you are not passed around endlessly or left waiting for hours – you actually speak to real people, often based locally, who genuinely care about resolving issues. Their team is friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient, making technical support far less stressful than with most providers. In terms of performance, Aussie Broadband’s NBN is consistently fast and reliable. They are transparent about their network capacity and provide accurate information about peak-hour speeds, so there are no unpleasant surprises. Streaming, gaming, or working from home all run seamlessly, with minimal dropouts and latency. Their plans are flexible with no hidden costs, and it’s easy to change or upgrade depending on your needs. Another big plus is their clear communication – emails and updates are written in plain English, without confusing jargon, which makes customers feel informed and in control. On top of that, Aussie Broadband has a reputation for being an ethical and community-focused company. They invest in infrastructure, advocate for fairer NBN policies, and are open about how they manage their network. This level of transparency builds real trust and sets them apart from many of the bigger providers. Overall, Aussie Broadband NBN is a wonderful choice for anyone looking for reliability, honesty, and excellent customer service. It’s no wonder so many Australians are making the switch and staying loyal – once you experience the difference, it’s hard to go back.

Excellent customer service, and a great product – We went with Aussie Broadband after a woeful and protracted experience wrapped up our 17 year association with Westnet (now owned by TPG). Aussie BB have been very responsive, accurate in their information and we now have an amazing 75 Mbps download speed. We could not be more impressed with this company. We had ADSL prior to this (copper wires… Read more ·  1

into the house) and were paying $89 per month for the Internet bundled with a landline phone number. We chugged along at around 17 Mbps thinking that was ok. Now, we are paying NO MORE for "fixed wireless" internet (which is a dish on the roof) and our landline bundled again, and we have on average of 75 Mbps download. Another vast improvement is that they are based in Australia and subsequently there is no language barrier, or time difference. This makes communication so much easier. My calls are always answered in under 5 minutes, compared to anywhere between 15 and 35 minutes "on hold" with TPG. When I called to report our internet was out of service, I waited for 35 minutes to be answered and in the end, just hung up. The signing up process with Aussie Broadband was so easy and everything happened just as they promised. They organised NBN Co who arrived on time and as scheduled. Everything just worked! I have no hesitation in recommending Aussie Broadband to anyone looking for an efficient, friendly ISP company.

Amazing tech support! – Honestly the best internet company I’ve ever been with. I thought iiNet was and was with them for years after some shocking experiences with other companies, but iiNet have really gone downhill. After spending many hours for days in a row trying to get my tp link c20 router to work with iiNet FTTC nbn no one could tell me why it wasn’t working and… Read more ·  1

they tried to get me to but a new router. There was literally no reason why it shouldn’t have worked. It was obviously a configuration setting but they only knew how to read off a script. Well Aussie broadband has only a 15 min tech support wait time compared to the 1hr every time with iiNet. And on top of this they knew what to do and fixed the issue within about 20 mins or so! Internet working just fine now and I didn’t have to but a new router for no reason and spend exhorbitant Amounts of money!

To double check I contacted sales via the chat option before signing up who confirmed that my router would be suitable with them and they were right!

I was very excited at prospect of getting an NBN connection! However I wasn’t informed that I had to connect to the box until I rang for help! The help I got was excellent! The position of the Box was very disappointing as it right where it’s visible in the dining room! Having the Internet connection has been very worthwhile. Show details ·  1

Too expensive. Had to leave. Not sorry. Also, they make you feel bad for leaving by saying a whole heap of things that don't even apply to me. signed me up Shannon, was fantastic, he made it easy and actually listened to me and answered all my questions. Early days but I honestly couldn't be happier and I believe I've definitely made the right choice in choosing Aussie Broadband, for me paramount has always been customer service because if I can't discuss any issues I have what's the point, because if the customer service isn't good all your left with is disappointment and frustration. The customer service so far has been excellent and I feel optimistic that it will continue to be.

Sofar, so good. After Dodo accidentally ended our internet and then couldn't/wouldn't reinstate it, we looked for an ISP with an Oz service centre and AB was it. The FTTP NBN went in yesterday and the only hiccup sofar is having to BYO your Modem, now confusingly termed a Router. The first router had no VOIP so we swapped it for one 2X price at… Read more ·  3

JB and well ... this one also won't use our landline number supplied by AB at zero cost. I should have asked AB to sell me a Router. At this stage, I give up any idea of having a VOIP landline as backup, as to do it with the new AX1800 Router ... I have to buy yet another box. That'll make four boxes hanging off the walls. So much for today's internet being easier to manage. Give me back the days of 300 baud modems and CLI commands. Life and the net was simple.

Call Centre that is quick, understandable & delivers – It was nice to speak with an Aussie, that organises the product you want quickly.
