Free FTTP upgrade, YAY! – Stoked with free FTTP upgrade from FTTN, but it only worked for 1 hour, had to wait 2 more days for the 'fault' to be rectified. Haven't had any problems with internet since. I love ABB, never a wait time to talk to someone and staff are very knowledgeable. Show details ·  1

The best internet provider I have had – Very reliable connection. The only drop outs I have had, turned out to be the modem I was using. ABB was quick to help resolve the issue by booking an NBN technician, who in turn identified the problem with my modem. Show details ·  1

I had problems installing and after struggling for an hour. The lady was so patient and I didn't needan interpreter. She was courteous, patient and knowledgeable. I have been with each of the big telcosand none of the relationships has ended well. I've finally found one that has Aussies in there best interest. Thankyou Aussie Broadband Show details ·  3

Follow-up  · It has been about 6 weeks now since I discovered Aussie Broadband and haven't had to make a single complaint about the poor connection or lack of service, not even one about the pricing. And when I have rung, I haven't needed an interpreter. They really are outstanding. They do the simple things well and don't try to sell you extras (will you have fries with that order). Well done Aussie Broadband. Don't change a thing

UPDATED REVIEW: This review is an update on a previous review I made. Aussie Broadband have been an excellent service provider for me. I am on a no longer offered product of a DIY plan which includes a voice landline and NBN at 25/10 gb 100GB amount of data. The only slight negative I have (for new customers that is) is that Aussie Broadband… Read more ·  1

no longer offers this product-the possibility of paying a bit less for a finite amount of data, rather than unlimited data (which not everyone wants/needs or wants to pay the higher price for-particularly singles). I know the major Telcos also don’t offer limited data plans either and haven’t for some time, which is a shame (hence me moving to Aussie Broadband in the first place). That being said, I’m very happy that Aussie Broadband have not cancelled this plan I am on as it suits me very well. Very occasionally-maybe a few times a month the wifi internet might be a little slow, but this only lasts for a few minutes. This is a drop in the ocean though and therefore overall I really can’t fault the internet service and the speed. Just did a speed test - Sunday night 10.30pm, and it’s 25/10, so it’s delivering what it says. I’m able to stream easily on this plan.

I jumped from Optus to Aussie Broadband with my mobile phone at least 2 years ago also as Aussie Broadband were a bit cheaper. I have found the service to be very good. I cannot comment on the landline service as I don’t actually have a phone connected to it.

Aussie Broadband’s customer service is fantastic. They are prompt at answering calls and solving any issues or queries that I have had the first time I have called. My business with Aussie Broadband has been smooth sailing, which is rare when receiving ongoing services and dealing with businesses these days. The best part is that their call centre is staffed by Australians and is not based overseas which allows for great ease in communication and prompt resolution of any issues or queries.

The Aussie Broadband app is good too. Easy to use and has everything I need to check my account and usage etc.

I believe Aussie Broadband provide very good service for a reasonable price and are much better than other Australian telcos. I highly recommend Aussie Broadband.

Simply the best – I've been a customer of Aussie Broadband for four years now and they've been a great provider during that time. Not only is my internet fast and reliable, but their customer service is easily the best I've experienced from any telecommunications provider. They are always very communicative about planned outages (which judging by what my… Read more ·  1

neighbors with other providers receive, is not always the case), but their communications about unplanned outages is also very good. A couple of months ago, I had to speak to them about a billing issue and once again, the representative I spoke with went above and beyond to provide a good outcome. I will continue to recommend this provider to anyone that asks.

There is a telecommunications company located in my regional location and I know a number of people who work for that company. This local company use Aussie Broadband as the benchmark for the level of customer service they want to provide and there's a very good reason for that; because they are the best at it.

Constant dropouts, working from home is a nightmare – My service drops out constantly, several times a day. Sometimes as frequently as every 15 minutes which makes working from home almost impossible. Have tried logging faults to get it fixed, they handballed it to NBN who never contacted me. Then they wanted me to buy new cables, new router etc. before they will even try to fix things. I don't… Read more

want to spend hundreds of $$ on new equipment if that doesn't fix the problem. (And besides I can see my device is connected to the router, but it just shows no internet connection available). And then I got told if I upgrade to one of their more expensive plans I wouldn't be having these issues. Of course they would say that to try to upsell me to a more expensive plan. Extremely dodgy that they basically admit their affordable plans are useless. I'm not paying double the cost of what I am now just to get internet that doesn't drop out all the time, every plan they sell should at least have a consistent connection. I have no issues with speeds as I don't do gaming or streaming so don't need a very fast speed. I just want to be able to get through one work day without all my citrix based programs crashing and having to be rebooted multiple times and losing work every time it crashes. And I don't trust that even if I did upgrade to a more expensive plan I wouldn't still be having the same problems. Is it really so much to ask for a single work day with no drop outs????

So my suggestion is avoid like the plague if you work from home because it will drive you insane (and you'll end up having to work extra hours to make up all the time from your internet constantly dropping out).

I have just transferred my broadband from Foxtel to Aussie Broadband and so far everything seems to be working fine. I have experienced a couple of dropouts already although I also experienced these same dropouts with Foxtel and they are easily fixed by resetting the modem. and suspect this to be the reason. If I want a faster speed I will need to pay for an upgrade. Also, in regards to support when I have contacted Aussie Broadband I have been placed in a queue which is often quite long (example: on most recent contact I called and was number 76 in the queue). Many people would hear that position in the queue and just hang up because they don't have the time to sit there waiting for a representative to become available.
