I found the ordering process easy to follow and progressed without any issues. I had to call customer service to clarify a couple of questions. I got straight through to a real human who assisted and answered my questions promptly. I have purchased a plan with a router but haven’t connected yet, hoping that process will be as easy as the ordering stage once I reach my connection date and receive the router. Show details
Our switch to Aussie has been totally seamless. I simply followed the instructions, plugged in the new router and everything worked exactly as it should. Brilliant. We immediately received speeds of 539 / 45. I also called their help desk to check them out before signing up. The call was answered quickly and Liam was super helpful. The Australian based help desk really is a point of difference. All looking good :) Show details · 1
The main reason why I was paying a premium for Aussie Broadband was 1. to support Australian Jobs and 2. for a premium service, however over the past 2 weeks I have had to call them 3 times for assistance on a new service and for tech support and every time, the wait was over 1 hour. Given this experience I will be going to a competitor and paying a lot less. Show details

Seamless transition from my old provider with an unstable connection to super fast AussieBB. Customer service excellent too! Two thumbs up from me! Show details · 1
Free Fibre upgrade was a breeze with AB. NBN techs arrived as scheduled. Did a very good and clean install inside my Rack! The new NTD is nice and small now. Would note I did hire a private cabler to create the internal fibre pathway in my ceiling to have the NTD where I wanted. AB are offering a free upgrade which does not include complex installs as NBN techs won't go inside your ceiling for safety reasons. Show details · 1
I recently upgraded to Aussie Broadband’s 500/50 Fast Fibre NBN plan and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. From my initial phone enquiry, the customer service team were knowledgeable, patient and clear in explaining my options, with no pressure or upselling. The upgrade process itself was seamless, with clear… Read more · 1
communication at every step and realistic timeframes that were actually met. Installation and activation were completely pain free, with everything working exactly as promised from the moment the service went live. It was refreshing to deal with a company that values professionalism, transparency and customer experience. The speed and reliability of the connection have been excellent, and the process to get there could not have been easier. I would confidently recommend Aussie Broadband to anyone considering an NBN upgrade.
Yesterday I received my Eero 7 pro modems. Attempted todo self set-up,ran into problems. I rang Aussie Broadband and I can’t paise the technician Tyson who assisted me complete the set up very quickly. Now with the new modems we are receiving very improved download speeds on our FTTP NBN connection. Thanks again for great service over the past 15 years. Show details · 1
After some hiccups which was not the fault of Aussie, our fast HFC connection is up and running. Connection is solid and have recorded speeds up 547Mbps. It's good to talk to a support person with an Aussie accent! Show details · 1

Do not connect this service if you want good speed. Terrible speed. Every couple of days we get very crappy speed. Work calls will drop off. Customer service staff is very polite but always always claim that it's always our fault, it's our wifi it's our hardware. So our wifi and hardware works perfectly fine sometime in the day but doesn't seem to… Read more
work the rest of the day !! We've even tested speed with the lan cable connected. Never close to 500/200 we're paying $95 a month for. Photos attached are from different dates and times. Calls to Customer service is a minimum wait time of approx 30 to 45 mins before you can talk to a person.

NBN and a minor glitch but the Aussie techs had it all sorted and fixed in around 3 minutes. They knew exactly what the issue was and got it sorted including a call back to make sure i was receiving incoming calls as well. Hats off and well done all round
Follow-up · Transfer over from previous provider was incredibly easy and smooth unlike some setups. Downloads since then and searches have been lightning fast and uploads have been fantastic not having to wait for a while for it to finish. Consistent speeds and very helpful service when required
Connection was amazing. Had to reconfigure router settings with tech. Running full steam ahead me hearties! Show details · 2
Follow-up · My previous plan with an other provider was 50mbs. Signed up for 500 download and never really get anywhere near that. Friday morning at 07:45 is 140mbs, which is sort of normal. Does anyone get the advertised speed?

Finally a provider that delivers what is claimed from every point of view. FTTP was available in my area and decided to ditch the hopeless service from the major telco I was with for over 40 years who seem to get only their price increases right. I was forced to lease a land line I never used and when I tried to cancel per the written contract… Read more · 1
at the time that was denied saying they won't do it despite the written contract sating I can cancel the land line after 1 month then stay just with NBN. So about 5 years ago I took the telco to the TIO for breach of contract and won but then covid hit plus hearing horror stories about unreliable NBN services made me stay the devil I knew.
But now it was time to take a leap of faith and I am glad I did.
Both Aussie BB & NBN kept tight communications messaging at every step. The NBN guy was punctual, did the job in 3 hours and I had 500Mb/s download speed there and then. Setting up 3 eero 7 pro router/access points purchased with the plan was a breeze and I have 100% WiFi on the whole property fence to fence and indoors (single storey spread out double brick house.
After years of disappointments for stuff organised over the internet I was very sceptical but this one went seamless and I take my hat off to NBN & Aussie BB.
Then within minutes of the new service being active I called Aussie BB customer support to ask a technical question and within 1 minute I was talking to someone local who understood what I was on about and provided the answer over a perfect telephone line. A welcome change from those overseas 'pretend' customer services with diabolical processes designed to discourage customers and give up.
The short dialogue was relaxed and within a couple of minutes I knew everything I needed and closed the call. This experience was pure oxygen after breathing foul air for the last 20 years! Encouraged by the great service I also transferred my mobile from another telco famous for losing personal information.
Although the new services are a bit cheaper that was not my motivation, I simply had enough poor customer support and waste hours on the phone to sort out issues always caused by the telco.
Thank you AussieBB, NBN and also the major telco I left who cancelled the old service swiftly without the fuss I expected.
Honestly been with aussiebb for about 5 years and thought they were the best but lately they are just a rip off. paying $95 for 500/50 is crazy when competitors are $80. i had a tech issue and their "experts" told me 170mbps is the max for wifi, i'd only get 500mbps with an ethernet cable plugged directly into my laptop, but laptops dont come with… Read more
ethernet ports anymore. the tech support [Name Removed] even said she only gets 200mbps at her place, what a joke. i had to go into my own router settings and fix the 5ghz band myself and now i'm hitting 540mbps on my phone. shows how much their tech support actually knows. the final straw was the complaints manager [Name Removed] (who introduced themselves as Ozzie). instead of just admitting they messed up or offering a real discount for the hassle, i got hit with these massive emails just passing the buck and blaming my gear. if they just said sorry and gave me a one off $20 for my hassle i probably would have stayed but the attitude was enough for me. also if you do the nbn fiber upgrade be prepared for non stop spam. texts, calls, emails... it was like harassment. then when you want to leave they tell you to call a "retention team" on monday morning. why would i waste my time on hold to beg for a price that leaptel gives me upfront? leaptel setup was instant, i'm getting 540mbps and best of all i can pay via bpay. aussie forces you into direct debit which i hate. saves me $15 a month and i dont have to deal with the scripted support. definitely wont be back.

Aussie Broadband are the best by far. I needed a NBN tech to come to our new build to install the fibre optic and utility and connection boxes. I tried 3 internet service providers over a… Read more · 1
3 week period ( one is a major ISP ) who achieved nothing in this time. So I rang Aussie Broadband, spoke to a very nice sales member who understood the situation and 20 minutes after the phone conversation, I had the date for the arrival of the NBN tech which was in 6 days time. Being so close to xmas, I was surprised but very pleased that Aussie Broadband made this happen so quickly. Their web site was the only one that said that fibre was available but a NBN tech was required, none of the dozen ISP's I put my address into said anything about needing a NBN tech. Only a few minutes after the NBN tech had finished the install, I received an email from Aussie Broadband stating the connection was alive and ready for use. The speeds are excellent and surpass the advertised speeds of the 500/50 plan that I am on. So the old saying is true, you only get what you pay for, but with Aussie Broadband you get excellent service from highly trained staff that know what they are doing at a very competitive price. Avoid the frustration of contacting other ISP's who cannot get the job done and go straight to Aussie Broadband for your internet. I wish that I had contacted them 1st and I would have avoided over 3 weeks of continuous phone calls and frustration that I had with the others. Thank you Aussie Broadband.

I was with ABB when they virtually first started out. But their prices increased so I went to Spintel then Neptune. But their prices issue with majority of ISP’s is their tech support is online and not actual over the phone talking to an actual person. simple and easy, was connected within a couple of hours. I did get a 6 month honeymoon period and will be a little dearer than Neptune but at least I have peace of mind with over the phone tech support.

We found Aussie broadband contact service very helpful. They explain what’s involved transferring from copper to Fibre. We received regular updates from Aussie broadband to the time the contractor put the new service in, even the contractor was knowledgeable and made sure we were happy with the new box placement. It took two weeks waiting from the contact service to the contractor putting the new service in. Very happy with Aussie broadband. Show details · 1
Amar came around to install the fttp. Did a fantastic job, went above and beyond to get everything installed, made the whole process seamless. Callum at Aussie was also very informative and let me know exactly what to expect with the installation when I called to organise it. Everything is working, got some very nice speeds. Thank you! It just works. Never had a drop out or slow down. Handful of devices can stream and play games at the same time. Downloading anything big goes straight to full gas. I shifted to another mob who had a cheaper deal for a bit; instant regret, came crawling back after a couple of months. It basically comes down to there’s absolutely nothing I can complain about or fault, and that is rare these days! Show details · 1
Everything ABB said would happen did happen. It was an exceptionally easy changeover from my old copper connection to the new fibre NBN one. The NBN technicians had some challenges to bring fibre into the home but they persisted well into overtime to get it done. Show details · 1
After being frustrated with Optus, we switched to Aussie Broadband a few years ago. they have been very helpful. Prices keep going up but the prices keep going up with the other NBN service providers too. The speeds are always good and the service is reliable.
5 stars but minus 1 star because they did not let us know or attempt to automatically upgrade when we could have upgraded our mobile plan for free and the mobile service is based on Optus, which is a terrible network. I do not recommend bundling a mobile plan, especially after the recent price increase.
Ordered fast delivery of the Eero 7, took 5 days. The service replaced my existing service the same day, would have liked a few hours notice. Eero 7 connected easily, however I had to change the Gateway Address, so my existing devices with static addresses connected. Once I sorted out the Gateway Address, everything worked perfectly. Speed is as stated. Happy with the phone app. Show details · 1
