Very fast and efficient process. No hitches. Excellent communication. Not the cheapest in the market but has a good reputation & Australian Call Centres with fast & friendly service. Only connected yesterday. Download speed between 50 and 51 but upload speed well off the mark at between 4 and 5 when it should be 20 but my uploads were negligible in the 24hrs so we need more time to assess. Overall could not ask for more. Well done Aussie Show details · 1
Fantastic company so far. I called them, stated my issues with Optus and that I was keen to transfer to them as my new Internet provider. Sent me a modem (which is a GREAT modem - easiest set up ever, took my 5 mins or less) and done!! Three weeks of hell from Optus and I had a fantastic experience with Aussie Broadband. Modem works perfect,… Read more · 1

Awesome – Once the technical difficulties that nbn techs had were resolved, we were connected and it is as advetised. Aussie Broadband staf are simply awesome and easy to deal with. Show details
Aussie Broadband top notch service – Aussie Broadband were very helpful, had previously had drop outs and no connection. Arranged a new optic cable to my address which was difficult but it was done. Show details · 1
Paying for 20mbps upload speed getting 2mbps. Talked to 'tech support' who basically said they had no control over upload speed and can't test for it on their end. I was told that if I didn't like it, I should go to another provider. Great customer service Aussie. The company is advertising this package as 50mbps download and 20mbps upload. If… Read more
they can't deliver upload speed as advertised, that's false advertising. A good complaint for the Ombudsman and ACMA I think.

I have been with Aussie Broadband since 2018. I find the service very reliable and good value. Recently my internet stopped working and I did the obvious. I turned off the router (modem, restarted, and still nothing. I contacted AussieBB through the… Read more · 2
app and was contacted within 30 minutes. Aussie were able to check the connection from their end and recommended a firmware upgrade for the modem. This was performed from their end and went well, however, I was still not satisfied with the results. I rang them the following day (Sunday) and was taken through the process of a factory reset of the modem. This worked well and my internet is better than ever. My internet needs are minimal. Our household have three phones and two TV'S. My plan is no frills unlimited data, cable to the node for $79. I was very impressed with the assistance and would not hesitate recommending them.
Follow-up · We have one streaming service which is used daily. Our plan is Basic Plus 25Mbps/10Mbps and do not have buffering issues.
Nice staff awful broadband. Constant outages. I lost so much work! I had to call and report each time so they could verify outages as it "did not show up for them" until they looked at the line and saw indeed there was another outage. I kept… Read more
increasing the amount i paid to get better connection to no avail. More than 6 months of consistent daily drop outs of internet affecting our work, meetings and study. They gave only one month of lousy credit that i had to follow up on twice to get. $95 a month for internet worse than dodo.
Follow-up · No change, still constant dropouts and slow internet affecting work, study and meetings. Most of the time, they did not notify me. I had to phone them, then they would look and see that indeed there was a dropout again. There would be no record of it otherwise. I changed providers this month to another company and my internet has been cheaper with… Read more

comparison Aussie B-Band had more suitable plans to select from. I phoned them and received very helpful advice regarding their plans. I selected one of their plans that fitted with our home situation and they helped with the installation. We have enjoyed using Aussie B-Band for several reasons; 1. Availability of EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE when required. 2. Timely NOTIFICATIONS of MAINTENANCE PROGRAMS to enable one to PLAN around those programs to minimize any problems if there is to be an OUTAGE. 3. Very helpful technical advice if you encounter setup issues or 'daily' user issues. 4. They are easily contactable via phone and INET. Like any good company they have their BUSY PERIODS, but, they respond as quickly as possible to the calls. I have been very happy with their product and their CUSTOMER SERVICE and would recommend Aussie B-Band for iNET and Phone.
Follow-up · 1 & 3. Installation Process:- I found that the Instructions/Diagrams that came with the unit Clear and easy to understand, therefore, I managed an easy setup. 2. Followup contact with Aussie BB Customer Service and Technical help was Excellent. No problems over the phone. Just remember they are very helpful people, BUT, can be very busy therefore, be patient and you will receive Excellent Customer Service.

Its a bit early to decide but so far so good. The arrangements with NBN left a bit to be desired - they didn't come as planned, due to what appears to be chaos at NBN end. It worked because I was accommodating. Show details · 1
Once again, Aussie Broadband show they are the very best for customer service! My issue was that Netflix wouldn’t work! I followed all the instruction on their automated (AI) help. The last instruction was “Contact your ISP”. I did. They were fantastic, as always! Because we had to disconnect the router multiple times we ended up with five… Read more · 1
calls spanning over an hour. They would not give up without fixing the issue. I’d like to thanks Nevoh and Anshika for their incredibly helpful, professional, human and, frankly, Aussie approach and support. No one coil have done better! 15 out of 10! Thank you! M
Got our service bundled with 5G phone accounts. Internet has been quite good service and service quality so far but a little disappointing that email has been discontinued, which was one deciding factor in signing up, although not the major deciding factor. About 46mbps over FTTN, limited by distance to exchange, so certainly looking forward to… Read more · 1
get FTTP connected soon and will stick with Aussie Broadband for that
No issue with phone connections or call quality.
Had a minor issue with a support ticket response but it was on the Easter long weekend so i can understand the reluctance.

1.Why does my NBN useage summary not coincide with my Invoice dates ? Or even calendar month summaries? 2.This Review page is far too complex. Why am I being asked all these additional questions below ? 3.Why when I request info on Pensioner discounts, I get a response "No Results found for Residential" 4. Where is information for Persioners. Show details
I wanted to upgrade the speed on my account but I either had to wait until my next payment or pay a fee of $16. Instead I switched to Superloop for an immediate speed upgrade and no fee (actually I am saving $24 a month). Show details

I was with Aussie for a few years and they did a fine job with stable internet and only one or 2 major outages after they did a failed upgrade but they rectified that quickly . Internet speed was always better than the plan , ie; 52-53 mbps on a 50 plan . Only problem is the prices they charge and the fact their customer service went down hill… Read more

We have received excellent customer support service from Anshika. My family and I were on the phone for 2 hours (1 hour dedicated to queuing for customer support, and another hour focused on fixing the problem) and she has been nothing but patient and clear with her instructions when solving the problem. Aussie Broadband in comparison to the other providers is way better and easier to work with. I very much like the fact that their call centre is in Australia and I get to talk to an Australian without working through an "American" or strong Indian accent. upgraded to fibre to the house (good) but the installer decided to install the NTU in the master bedroom by punching a hole in the brick wall then the inner wall and installing the unit. His excuse was that this was a better location. When in fact he was being d^mn lazy.
Overall the staff are helpful solving the connection issue after we move. The downside is we have to waited for a week to connect the service especially need to wait 24 hours to verify failure of NBN activation, since we thought we have 2 sockets, same process needs to go through twice then few days again to organise NBN technician to inspect. At the end the technician solve the activation by finding the third hidden socket in a kitchen cabinet. Show details · 1

Timely responses and relevant suggestions when initially setting up my connection. Really liked that Aussie Broadband got in contact to say the plan I chose won’t be suitable as my connection couldn’t support it and recommended a downgrade that is better suited to the speeds I would be able to get. I received a letter at my home address to upgrade to the new 'Fast Fibre nbn 500/50 plan.' As a loyal customer I was offered $60 off over my first 6 months of the new high speed plan. On 1 November 2025, following the instructions given in the letter, I used my MyAussie app to upgrade my service but was not given the option to quote the 50TO500… Read more
discount code before the checkout, as is indicated in the letter. Aussie Broadband was quick to accept my upgrade request and begin charging me the full $95/mo beginning 27/11/2025 without any mention of the discount offered. Immediately, I rang ABB customer service and spoke to Eugene who informed me that the discount I quoted to him, as provided in the letter, had expired on 31/10/2025. I repeatedly told him the expiry date at the bottom of the letter in very fine print indicated the expiry date of 30/11/2025. He continued to express that any discount for an upgrade to my service at my address had expired. Frustratingly, I read to him the entire offer which reads in very fine print at the bottom of the letter 'Offer ends 11:59pm AEDT 30/11/2025. Existing residential customers only who upgrade to FTTP and sign up to the 500/50 residential unlimited nbn plan.' And then the hammer fell when he explained that my address did not have FTTP therefore nullifying the offer unless I also upgraded my nbn access to FTTP at a huge expense. Firstly, I was unaware that FTTP indicates fiber to the premises nbn access. My mistake. However, why did ABB send the letter to my address knowing it was not FTTP accessible? How many other loyal customers will open this letter, signed by the Group Managing Director, thinking they are eligible for an upgrade and follow the instructions only to find out, after over an hour of holding online and having the discussion with customer service, that their address is not included in the discount offered? How many of those loyal customers will unknowingly agree to increase their monthly payments only to find out that their property is not FTTP? The exchange with customer service left me very disgruntled with a company I believed to be fair dinkum Aussie. As a loyal customer and a shareholder, I am disappointed with my recent experience. The letter I received was very misleading and should be followed by a clarification letter to those customers who may have been deceived into upgrading their plan without knowing they were not eligible due to not having fibre to their home.

We lost our normally excellent internet connection. Although we are quite techno savvy, we are both very old and this time, we needed assistance. We rang the 'help' number. Got a young man who spoke clearly, competently and above all, in spite of our age, wasn't patronising in any way. He helped us resolve the issue over some time. The Company then contacted us by Email to make sure that we were satisfied, which we were. Show details · 1
I recently needed to update my router, I bought the Eero 6+ from Aussie Broadband, however it was not compatible with the solar inverter Wi-Fi dongle. located in Australia. The NBN change occurred on the day I signed up. I had a BYO router and the config on the router was such a simple change that I was waiting for something to not work. Basically it took all of 5 minutes. I will be paying only a few dollars a month more for Aussie Broadband but I think it will be worth it. The NBN move was almost seamless and I am expecting the mobile to be the same.
Follow-up · Tech Support is based in Australia !! (Reminds me of how Internode was many, many, many years ago). The mobile phone sign up was easy but there was a spelling mistake on my last name which I thought had been corrected at the time.
