Cleaning was poor for an end of lease clean. Cleaner stopped responding. Had to pay for cleaning on the bond. When I called Austral was hung up on by the person on the phone. This company is a scam, do not use!

They show up and say they want to DOUBLE the quote because of the "condition" of the place, and they will leave if I don't agree. I had no time to arrange an alternative so I "agreed" to it. They spent LESS time than the quoted "8 hours minimum" despite being paid double the quote! The job was woefully incomplete so I also paid MORE from my bond for someone else to finish the job. If you want to flush $375 down the toilet these guys are your crew! – Never have I walked into an end of lease clean where the house felt dirtier than when I let the cleaners in. Poor Communication: The carpet cleaner canceled at the last minute, stating he was unwell, but provided no prior warning. I was left with no certainty about when the job would be completed. Even worse, when I tried to contact the responsible parties, I received no follow-up or resolution.
Lack of Professionalism: I requested the cleaner to inspect the property and assess the pending tasks, but he refused to do so. The lack of initiative and the unprofessional attitude was alarming.
Financial Loss and Unpaid Leave: I had to take an entire day off from work to oversee the cleaning, which resulted in significant financial loss due to the delays and rescheduling. In addition, I had to make last-minute arrangements for another cleaning team at my own expense, which was not only stressful but added further financial strain.

I could have cleaned our property better !! – Don't use these people. They just take the money and run ! They left the soap behind in the bathroom ! who does that? They couldn't even clean the sink properly !

I still had to go back and do three hours of cleaning myself.
I was told the carpet would be "professionally cleaned" and paid a separate charge for this but it was never done. At best they have vacuumed it.
When I outlined my concerns and requested a partial refund the manager Johnson just stopped replying to my emails. I paid the cleaner Yuly via bank transfer so cannot do a charge back.

End of lease cleaning was done to perfection – We contracted a cleaner through Austral to do an end of lease clean. Sajan did a fantastic job of cleaning the unit. Every square inch of the place was cleaned, all cupboards and drawers, all windows and tracks, bathroom etc. Even swept out the garage. Cant rate the job highly enough and I have had others before that were not as meticulous. Well done.
Absolutely satisfied with their service! – We hired Austral Cleaning to do a full clean of our apartment upon vacating the premises. A detailed quote was given which showed the break down in costs. The work was completed to a very high standard and well worth the money spent. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking a cleaner!

still didnt show up on time. They tried to negotiate a different price because they didn't believe I gave them all the information.
When I inspected the apartment after the cleaning, I had to ask them to mop again as there was wet dust in the bathroom. The walls were not cleaned, and the kitchen doors were not wiped. When I questioned them, they said 'it was just the light' and hurriedly left. I contacted them within 10 minutes of leaving and they said that they would just come back if the real estate had a problem. They would not come back and finish the job.
They didn't clean the kitchen sink or inside the shower recess. They didn't wash the walls, despite repeatedly asking them about it. They did not wipe out any drawers and the rangehood was not cleaned.
The correspondence afterward was extremely poor customer service. The quickest thing they did was send an invoice.

Booked a 2 bedroom unit for a full bond clean, the cleaner was late and only had a box of spray and wipes (should have been the first red flag). I then gave them a walk through the apartment after which I queried with the attending cleaner before I had left the property for the day and prior to their clean if there were any areas of concern for them when I showed them through the apartment, they stated no.
I was of the impression that after I had left cleaning had commenced, but this was not the case as I was called by the cleaner's boss to quote me far in excess of what was agreed to and that the work would not commence until payment is made (this was almost an hour after I left). I had to vacate the premises that weekend, so felt forced to comply.
The next day I arrived to check the bond clean was completed and it somehow looked even dirtier than before I left. They also broke one of the cupboard doors in the kitchen. No idea what the cleaner had been doing for 8 hours, but no semblance of a bond clean was done. My complaint and request for a refund was barely acknowledged and Austral Cleaning stopped replying to emails, leaving me out of pocket for a job that was not completed or even attempted.
I have reported them to the ACCC and I would encourage everyone else to as well.

agent came back with any issues then he would come back at no charge as per the 100% satisfaction. We called the cleaner the next day to come back as he offered, instead he took this as an insult and started getting angry with me over the phone saying I was being disrespectful. All in all, making excuses so he wouldn't need to come back. He did end up booking a time, but of course - a no-show. Such a rude man with so many issues. Wasted my time and money as I ended up cleaning the house myself.

Insofar, so good and I thought I had peace of mind that the three guys would bring the property into a condition that would be sufficient to be handed over to the real estate agent. The awakening came the day after when the handover was scheduled. Walking through the property, the list of items that hadn't been sufficiently cleaned got longer and longer. We're not talking about special cleaning requests here, but straightforward stuff like greasy dust on top of kitchen cupboards, slat blinds dusty, floors dirty behind toilet bowls, lint in dryer filter, oven still greasy and so on. Based on their bond back guarantee I tried to get the cleaning team back in as quickly as possible, but they told me that unfortunately they were busy doing other jobs and perhaps later the week this might be possible. My requests for rectifying these deficiencies to the contact from Austral Cleaning, [Name Removed], were completely ignored from his side. Since the owners wanted to move into the property as quickly as possible, I had to fix the issues by myself. So, what do you get for $399? They did at least some cleaning. However, what they do is absolutely not sufficient to get your bond back without additional work. This renders the end of lease cleaning from Austral Cleaning useless, since you only book it to get the task out of your hand and accomplished without further hassle. Therefore: No recommendation, due to poor quality of work and poor customer experience.

didnt have our carpet or balcony cleaned. Also poor jobs cleaning with foot prints on tiles and hair on carpet. We had to re-mopped and vaccum after already moving out. Cleaner also left gas stove on. WORST EXPERIENCE . No customer service. Scammers

me forward a day but won’t admit that. 9am he was suppose to show up. Rings at 9.30am and says he won’t be able to make it until 1.30pm. Doesn’t arrive until 4.30pm. Quote is for $400 for 8 hrs. Rings me and says it’s going to cost $800. He says there is dents in a few of the walls and he isn’t maintenance he is a cleaner. The property obviously didn't pass inspection so the cleaners had to come back a second time. Another poor job which made the property fail inspection a second time. Absolutely no faith in their abilities so now have had to book another cleaning company. A terrible, expensive waste of time!

late almost 30mins (Not on-time) I made $400 payment in cash when she arrived and I left the property to get $40 change to pay her. It did not take long but she called me over the phone just after I left and asked for that small amount of money again! Which was weird. When I got back to my property and paid the $40, she started to make non-sense comments aggresively with F words. I asked her politely to be calm and continue the job but she refused to do that and left the property. basically, she stole my money and did not clean. Very Poor Service – Very poor service. Pull you in with very cheap rates but just before they start they hit you with a tonne of extra charges. Ended up paying almost double. Didn't do a very good cleaning job either and left the shower screens very dirty. Do not go with these people. Just check all the reviews on product review to see how they treat customers.

They seduce clients with a false promise of 30% off or some other bigus discount and on the day of the job (if they show up) they try to charge extra in advance otherwise they just leave and you have to find another company.

cleaner didn't even want to look at them, she just offered to take the GST off, because she wanted cash in hand and to bypass the company. We then contacted the company [Name Removed] (If that is his real name) who informed us this was an issue between us and the cleaner. We had to get a different company to ACTUALLY clean the place.
