What a disappointment
I booked a one off cleaning service for last week. The booking was cancelled twice, and then rescheduled for Friday 3pm. At 3:30pm I get a call from the cleaner saying she can’t find the building. I don’t know what to say other than look it up on Google maps? It’s a giant complex on a well signed and lit street. I sent a text with instructions on where to park and where to find the keys, but the cleaner keeps calling me saying she doesn’t know where to park. I explain it over and over again, with no success. The cleaner left and I get a call fr...om the company saying they can come back tomorrow, and offering me a discount for the next visit. Excuse me, next visit? How about do the job right this time and then think about getting my business again. I understand things happen, traffic, kids school pick up, weather, sickness, I get it. But not showing up 3 times is a little too much for me to swallow.
Unprofessional and Inexperienced Service
I asked for an experienced cleaner for my property. This was not the case. My experience with their service is as follows:
Cleaner did not clean above head height
Mirrors were smudgy
Kitchen appliances e.g dishwasher/microwave/rangehood were not cleaned
Glass tall cabinets in kitchen not cleaned
Floor mopping was very saturated on timber floors
Cleaner only arrived in Australia 3months ago
All cleaning jobs are organised out of Melbourne and not locally in Brisbane
Overall I was very unimpressed with the lack of timely communication and quality of cleaner.
I would not recommend this cleaning service.

I am very happy once again today 17th March 2022 with Wilasinee. She has an excellent work ethic and completed the cleaning of my home in the 3 hours allocated.

3 times now the cleaner has not shown up. The replacement cleaners do not show up. No notice of not coming. Annoying because I stay home intentionally to be there and arrange my day around it. The cleaners change all of the time. Most seem like backpackers. Admin don't care and don't even apologise. When the cleaners do come- they do a reasonable job. The last lady was great will have to say but seemed like she wasn't happy about working there either.
Poor cleaner quality and bad customer service
I've had the worst experience with Jarvis over two occasions and pretty frustrating customer service as a response. The cleaner left my house in a worst state than when she found it and Jarvis' have not responded to my multiple complains.
My first booking was cancelled an hour before the session. It left me in a bit of an inconvenience as I was expecting guests that afternoon.
Jarvis did provide me with a 30% discount for my next visit so I decided to give them another chance. Big mistake. My cleaner rang me 20 mins past the booking time and...told me she was running late and will be at mine in an hour. When she arrived, I gave her a quick tour and left her to complete her tasks. It wasnt until she left that I noticed what a horrible job she did: 1. She wiped all my mirrors with some thick detergent that left it cloudy and incredibly streaky. I initially thought it was just wet liquid yet to dry but to my horror I realise it wasnt. I just cannot believe she left it that way thinking it was acceptable 2. She did not clean my kitchen. My stove top, bench top, sink and other surfaced was not touched at all. 3. Bathroom surfaces was not cleaned. I ran my fingers over the vanity and it was dusty. Vanity cupboards still had obvious toothpaste stain from before. It was obvious she only spot cleaned the sink and wiped the mirrors. Toilet bowl was not cleaned properly. 4. She left the floors soapy after mopping, so all the tiles were sticky. 5. Dining room chair was damaged, presumably the cleaner had pushed it too far into the dining table and scratched it against the under surface of the table top.
Not at all impressed
We commenced services with this company mid 2021 for fortnightly cleans , requesting same cleaner fortnightly because honestly I don’t want to have to spend 20 minutes with every clean showing people where al my cleaning goods and supplies are and explaining how and what I want done.
1st clean. No show . I. Got a text advising me they were unavailable after I called to advise she hadn’t arrived

She done good job, however I was hoping she going to do the kitchen as it is part of the house too. She was friendly. Thank you I might book again.
Just terrible. This cleaning company is best to be avoided.
Inefficient! 2hr to clean bathroom once and 2hr to mop 1bedroom tiled unit next time (should take 30min max). Threw out deodorant & shampoo because “they were on the floor”!?! Bad
Yet another dissapointing 'cleaning' company
Cleaner showed up 25 min late (with no call/msg to let me know). Booked a 3.5 hour clean, but cleaner left early, not making up the time for being late. When the cleaner left, I inspected the home and noticed they'd left very noticable scratches on my nightstand (see pictures)! I then called to complain about this and about the fact that they turned up late, and left early. A few days later I received a partial refund. I then requested a full refund. Received this a few days later. Then today, the refunded amount was debited again! So yet again..., I had to contact them again and requested my money back. This is the second 'cleaning' company I have gone to and they've both been shocking. I have asked them to remove me from their database completely.

Worst service, over charged and then spent time cleaning when they left
First booking on Thursday was a nice show. We wasted our day waiting for them for three hours and messaged the service several times with no answer.
The guy came, wasn't all that nice. I was over the top friendly trying my best too. He was supposed to bring supplies- and he did not bring anything.
We left for two hours and all he cleaned was the bathroom, which wasn't even very unclean, we are pretty tidy people. All he would have to do is clean a toilet, the shower and sink.
And then he asked for more time, I said ok, and he spent like 15 ...minutes fluffing pillows? I can't deal. He didn't even touch the bedroom. He barely vaccines and the floor was unclean. He was rude and I think pretending to clean. We have a one bedroom apartment- it’s possible to clean it in two hours.

The cleaner she came on time, friendly and worked well for the 2 hour cleaning.
This company has great customer service and they always try to give customers 5 star service.
Initially, I was very happy with their services, until the Butler resigned. Thereafter I was sent two inexperienced cleaners that were not trained and I learned that they joined the company only two weeks before they were allocated to me. The third cleaner cancelled the morning of the scheduled clean.

My butler is great. She is cleaning everything really well and pays attention to detail. On top of that she is a lovely girl and pleasent to be around because of her big smile.
Cancelled on the morning twice. I understand with Covid it is hard but you either run a business or not. The admin people are nice and polite but clients expect a service of booked.
Questions & Answers
How much to is for 2 hours on forthrightly basis? If I am contract can I cancel anytime without penalty? Also like to try cleaners first before commuting? Area Mitcham Victoria.

I wish there is 0 star so i could use it. I change my plans so the cleaner can come on that day.

Agreed . Terrible communication and unclear
A cleaner was supposed to be here at 2pm to clean my house for 2 hours. Someone called back eventually and advised that a cleaner was allocated and they would get someone to call me back. 2 hours later, still waiting!! Cleaning needed to done today. Not a good first impression, when I was looking for a regular clean.
I’m sorry to hear that. The person that was assigned to my home came earlier and finished earlier. They were here for about 3 hours. I was very impressed with the cleaning. Maybe give them another chance.
Still waiting to be contacted. Tried calling, emailing and messaging! Nothing!
